I would measure the time in years since I last set foot in a Red Lobster primarily because the one nearest my house closed down a while ago. For this occasion, we had a colleague leaving the company and for his going away lunch he chose here. Our group numbered eight in size when we arrived on a Friday afternoon at noon. The restaurant had only a few patrons dining at this time and after a brief delay to push some tables together we were promptly seated. The dining room was well lit, clean and at a comfortable temperature compared to the building heat and humidity outside. There is an outdoor dining option here but not today for us. Their menu has all the typical seafood dinner options along with the last two pages of more appropriately priced lunch size portions. We started with a lobster pizza and fries for appetizers. The pizza was well prepared and my first for having lobster on it. The latter dish of fries was for our token vegetarian. He gnawed on those and ordered a large salad as his main dish. I selected the lunch shrimp tacos. The dinner version adds a salad to your meal. My tacos came with a nice side of wild(?) rice that was yummy. The tacos themselves were only OK. I would have preferred a bit more bite in the sauce as they tasted a little too plain for my liking. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Our server kept our drinks filled and delivered everything with the desired sides all together after a reasonable wait. The manager on duty stopped by to check on things as well. I did miss those cheesy rolls they serve and that might be enough for me to return again in months rather than years.

Plain and simple we were not sat — we asked why and they told us it wasn’t our turn. The manager told us we weren’t going to be sat because it wasn’t our turn — 5 other parties were being sat who came in before us. Each time I asked what the hold up was there was an excuse as to why we couldn’t be sat. I decided I didn’t want to eat here but because it was my daughters graduation I ordered her a to-go order. I tried to talk to the manger civil and professional and her responses were rude and uncooperative.

We were told that we’d have to wait 30 – 40 minutes but were surprised to have a booth already ready within 10 ish minutes. Service was great and fast, biscuits were soft and delicious as always. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I got the Create your own trio as well as my brother and we liked the lobster mac n’ cheese, chimichurri shrimp, panko crab cakes, and bourbon shrimp(which is super spicy in my fopinion!!!) but the garlic and lemon shrimp and the scampi weren’t my faves. Overall a good experience, going here every once in a blue moon doesn’t hurt.

Mediocre seafood, pricey dishes, and not very helpful bar/hostess staff.

I came for just Lobster and decided to try a new dish called Dueling Lobsters. It was 2 Lobsters one with a Lobster and Lobster Mac & Cheese and the other was Lobster with Crab cakes. The crabs cakes were delicious and the Lobster was good. The one with Mac and Cheese was not good at all the Mac and Cheese was not tasty and the Lobster was very rubbery! Over cooked! Service was alright, not great but, enough to provide me with what I needed.

The menu is very deceptive. It shows a nice meal for a price, but in very small print it shows that certain side dishes are more expensive. Four of us ate there the other night and we all were surprised by our bill at check out due to the deceptive menu.

Came in here tonight. My sister and mother heard the host say that they would be seated in 5 minutes. I’m not sure, maybe my sister may have mis heard her wrong. But 15 minutes later when I got there, I asked the hostess(short Hispanic woman) how much longer our wait time would be, and she said in such a non-welcoming attitude, «I said 10 – 15 minutes and I have been keeping track right here». Okay, I manage at a restaurant. And if any of my hostesses said that, I would immediately re-train them. There could have been many different ways she could have said it such as, «I’m sorry for the delay, but we are giving our servers adequate time between seating them again», or something along those lines! The guest experience starts at the door, and our experience was terrible before having to even sit down and eat. I wish I could have had a meal here, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Definitely won’t be coming back. :(

Food was delicious. Service was awesome our waiter brought by refills when needed. Stop by and asked if we needed anything. It was her first day and she was awesome. I would have loved to give this review four stars. But I noticed something disturbing from the manager. He greeted everyone and checked in with all the customers that were American if I can put it lightly in those words. But did not come to our table at all. Ill leave that for those creative smart mines to guess why. Luckily our children did not notice. I hear that this happens from time to time, but I have never felt this way before or ever encountered it. So I guess I’ll never be going to that location again. But for our waiter on her first day, you did a awesome job !

Lobsterfest menu prices are expensive and not good quality. My lobster tasted bitter and rubbery. The sides were just drenched in cream and butter, too rich to eat more then a few sides. The cheddar biscuits were awesome though. Service was ok but I hate that they were spraying the tables next to us and sweeping while we were still eating, very annoying.

The food is amazing as usual but, the worst service I have ever seen. I asked three times for biscuits and he almost brought it after 30 mins. Those 3 starts are completely for food and zero for service.

The past two visits to this restaurant have been less than good. First visit was in the early evening, early in the week. It took almost 25 mins before our waiter came over for our order. I ordered all you can eat shrimp but the waiter didn’t come to check on us to see if i wanted more. We ended up flagging down another server to help us. Poor service… Second visit was lunchtime at the end of the week. Waitress took 20 minutes to greet us and take our order. My daughter ordered green beans as a side but got a baked potato, my mom asked for more butter and we never saw the waitress again. We again flagged down a passing server to get our bill. If the restaurant was busy I could understand taking time between visits but there were very few people dining on both visits.

I swear everytime I come here the menu is different, although that’s not a bad thing. I will profess I’m not much of a seafood person at all. And there are very few seafood/fish items I’ll eat and enjoy. The service was great and a big shout out to our server last night Tony, not only was he attentive but funny. We made sure we tipped him well. And did I mention too he hooked up us with extra biscuts to take home(bonus!!). Back to the food. Between the biscuts and salad I had pre-dinner I only ate a few bites of my potatoes and green beans and had maybe a third of my fish. I got the salmon as it was one of the fresh fish of the day. It was cooked perfectly, not too dry. I had mine wood-fire grilled which was excellent. Husband had the cajun chicken linguini, I was sort of surprised he didn’t get shrimp but he said his was excellent, although the portion was huge, he took the rest of his home.

This was my first time at red lobster, the food was delicious but i was dissapointed by the portions and presentation, this was a to go order, i got the flat bread which came out not fully baked and clearly mishandled… it was litterally smushed., the lobster artichoke dip was only half full in the container, i ordered a a house salad with honey mustard dressing but got a caesaer with dressing already on it, the lobster bake didnt look as good either as it did on the menu overall not worth the price i paid wish i got more bang for my buck

I’ve ALWAYS had horrible service at Red Lobsters, but when they have specials going on, it’s a good way to get some reasonably priced seafood, and it’s always pretty darn good quality too.(Plus, uh, cheesy biscuits!) This was my first time ever visiting this location, and the server, Yely, she was amazing. I also was seated immediately, and I’ve NEVER been seated immediately at a Red Lobster. Crabfest is in full swing, and I enjoyed crab legs, lobster, shrimp, scallops and more. The side salads are substantial, and so are the sides! I really can’t believe I’m giving a chain restaurant five stars, but it was honestly well-deserved.

There was a time Red Lobster was a go-to seafood place, but I’m afraid that time has passed. They are clearly chasing a price point, a very, very low price point. And it shows in both the food(shrimp come that small?) but much more importantly in the service. Once to take your order, once to deliver drinks and bred, once to drop off food and refills, once for the check. In my experience you will never see a server more than that at a Red Lobster, it must be in the training. Eat all your bread or drink all your beverage and you’ll be waiting a long time for refills. Every time I go, usually by having a group decide for me, I think the same thing. For an extra like $ 1 per entrée, they could probably offer much better service, and even better quality food. Sometimes a $ 9 dish doesn’t beat a $ 10, or $ 11 one.

Was with my father and his girlfriend. She had the whole lobster right out of the tank and reported it was the best lobster ever eaten! I had the 4 course meal for a bargain $ 16.95 which is quite a lot of good and very good. Soup, salad, broiled tilapia and brownie a la mode. The cheese biscuits are still the best, the main reason I come.

First time at any Red Lobster in 10 years, first time at this Red Lobster at all. Sat in Ariel’s section. He was a delight, really making the effort to be genuine and engaging. He is very personable and gave the best service. Food was excellent!!! This isnt any high classed stuff, but, for the price point and expectation standard, our experience was a home run. Biscuits: hot, buttery, cheese still melty, melt in your mouth and the perfect intro to our food. Caeser salad: overdressed and not enough acid, mayo too heavy. The salmon on top was cooked perfectly! Lobster stuffed mushrooms: SOGOOD! Didn’t want to share. Mushrooms plump and juicy, cheese melty and bubbly on top, lobster(and crayfish) chunky and meaty. So good! Lobster scampi and linguini: not my dish, but i had a taste and it was great. There was a grilled lobster tail or two that disappeared super quick, so i’m guessing it was good. Next time i’m coming back just for cocktails and warm chocolate chip lava cake!!!

This Red Lobster is definitely above the rest compared to other RL’s I’ve visited in my lifetime. Nice service, fresh food and quite tasty.

Let’s cut to the chase. This is your standard chain restaurant with standard fare. It’s decent, sometimes above average, but never great. Never revolutionary. But each chain does something that makes it stand out, something that nobody else does or does quite the way it can. And for Red Lobster it’s the Cheddar Bar Biscuits. I can not smash enough of them into my face. They’re so good. TOO good. I know they’re, what, 6,012 calories a pop… but I can eat the entire lil’ basket of them without thinking about it. As for the actual restaurant? Service is usually decent(had a mix of good and bad) but it’s been consistent overall. For a place with«lobster» in the name they don’t really do lobster that well. But, again, it’s a chain. The food’s acceptable and the biscuits are nothing short of fluffy addiction.
