Supercuts

I went to Supercuts yesterday. I told the dude that I wanted to keep my hair longer but he was so inexperienced in cutting hair that he kept cutting and cutting and cutting that my hair is the shortest that has ever been. He could not blend in the top of my hair with the sides. He kept cutting the sides shorter and did not touch the top. Plus it seems every time we walk in there the price goes up. It is now $ 17 which is a rip off for what you get. I strongly suggest to visit one of the mom and pop barber shops in the area and you can get a good haircut for $ 14. I’ll be visiting one of these mom and pop shops today to have them fix what they messed up.

Went in for a color, cut and style last Wednesday. Parisa did my hair and I LOVE IT. Best cut I’ve ever had. I chose long layers. She is a perfectionist!

it took me 2 mediocre and one horrible haircut here to learn my lesson. literally the worst haircut i’ve ever had in my life came from this location.
the stylists will give you so much attitude if you ask them to cut your hair you think it should be done. when i pointed to a long uneven tuft of hair missed by the clippers the STORE MANAGER actually said to me «the clippers cut the hair not me.» she was so rude, why not just say «sure i’ll go over that area again.»

Been here 5 times and will not return. First two cuts were great with Sonia. I have not seen her, not sure if she is still working there. The third time I went the girl did not know how to do a fade or trim the top of my hair. She used buzzers on my entire head. Haircut was awful and had a line all around my head were she tried to do a fade. The third time I went was not as bad but a different girl cut my hair and when she trimmed around my ears she went way to high and I had a huge shave line around my ear, ridiculous. I am in the military and a good haircut is a must. I figured today one last try. I went in and only two girls working and not organized at all. They called people out of order and after 20 min or more I left. I went to the Asian barber shop around the corner by sweet frog and firehouse subs. Walked in, sat right down and got a great cut. Not sure why I even left this place to try Supercuts. They have not started out well for a new business in the area, I recommend you stay away!

0.0 is the score this place deserves after 2 marginal and 1 horrible hair cut (see pictures of attempted high and tight). Ive had better haircuts by Navy butches (barbers). And… this was done by store manager Sonia.
I would go back but Im afraid of her doing even worse.
Bottom line — this place sucks!

¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₅ — About 6 months after I posted this review (with pictures), the owners contacted me with questions about what went wrong. If, after looking at the picture provided you cannot, within mere seconds, identify multiple issues (hint…neither high nor tight nor straight.
Summary: piss poor management. stylist is a certified hair butcher.
Speculation: absentee owners who bought into a franchise trying to get reech with 0 hair cutting experience.
Prediction: Out of business within a year.

Hidden between Safeway and CVS they sent me a coupon so I checked it out. I have walked in twice and used two different ladies. Both haircuts were great considering I let my hair grow wild for months. We had good conversation and look forward to returning.

It’s nice having a local salon close to home with great hair stylists and a great price. I first went in for myself when they just opened and had $ 9 haircuts. They were very friendly and the place was clean. My stylist was great and she cut my hair as I asked. I later took my husband and kids in. My son doesn’t sit down and is very active. Sonya was amazing with both my kids and my son fINALLy has a haircut that looks normal. We will continue to get our haircuts here.
