You’ll find the most heavily advertised toys here as well as a sprinkle of classic gifts like wooden baby blocks, if they haven’t sold out. It’s a huge warehouse style store with a wide variety of plastic toys, dolls, electronic game stations and action figures. There’s even a section with craft kits and building sets, but sadly, no high quality children’s books. This is the place to find the widest variety of toys, particularly if you know what you’re shopping for… Don’t expect much customer service. Parking right out front is a big plus!

This Toys R’ Us isn’t bad. They have a great selection of toys at typical prices, nothing great as far as deals(from what I’ve seen). Employees are nice and there’s a great selection of items. Often times ive approached employees about the location of the items and they take the time to walk me over. Plus, there’s a Total Wine across the parking lot, so the kids get a present… then I get my present. I will say the this location seems to be crowded all the time, the parking isn’t great, traffic around the store is terrible, checkout lines can get long too.

This Toys«R» Us store is usually packed with toys. More often than not, I don’t have any issues finding what I need. I go in the store and come out with what I was looking for. But if I can’t find something, the employees are more than willing to help me look at other stores for any in stock as well. I collect certain toys and review them on YouTube, so I do my research for the toys I need. I go into stores knowing exactly what I want and where to find them. I have had bad experiences at other stores with employees giving me wrong answers or not willing to help, but not at this Toys«R» Us. If I ever needed someone to check in the back for me, they will do so. They are always willing to help and if they don’t have it in the store, they don’t just say sorry and move on, they help you to find it at other stores or give you more information about the item. And that is what is more important to me when shopping at retail. I can buy items online, but I can’t get the kind of customer service I get at this store. I’m there about once a week now looking for new toys and I know that I can be helped if I need it.

Barbies, Transformers and Board Games, Oh my!!! Toys R Us is one of those stores I dread going especially with the kids in tow. It just means my kids are going to pick out the toy with the most parts and pieces and throw it on the ground, loose all the pieces and never play with it. Does your kid do that too or is it just mine? Then I am going to get angry probably when I have stepped on one of the pieces when I will get a giant garbage bag and throw away as many pieces I can find… but I will find more days, weeks, months and possibly even years later. Anyway this store has more toys than anyone could ever imagine. I grew up loving Toys R Us and I am sure my kids do too. There really aren’t a lot of other toy stores around anymore these days. The prices are much higher on most items than other stores. I like shopping Amazon or Target for toys, but occasionally budge and will hit the Toys R US. I think if you shop the sales or have a coupon you can get some okay prices.

As a kid I would have begged Mom to take me to the toy store everyday and of course thrown a fit if I did not get that one toy that I just had to have. I’m thinking there may have even been a temper tantrum involved when I did not get my way. Well today I got my way at the toy store. Not one child or a peep from a toy that played music or talked. It was like shopping in a library full of shiny new toys. What more can I say. I had the best toy store shopping experience of my adult life. Show up at 6am the week before Xmas and the little kiddies are all still asleep. Store was fully stocked, clean and felt like I was all alone to shop away. Thanks for making it easy!

Showed up just after opening, to get a toy listed as a holiday special, one that I know won’t last long. Two employees working in the department, helped me get exactly what I wanted. When I asked for information about another toy, told me exactly what aisle to look on, and where on the aisle. At checkout, she helped me get a $ 10 gift card for my purchase, and a mail-in rebate, both of which I didn’t know I was eligible for.

As a last-minute drive-by, I stopped in to see if I could pick up Settlers of Catan. Checking up and down the board games aisle, I was thoroughly confused by how they were organized in alphabetic order like it said on the aisle sign. Maybe it’s ordered by the Cyrillic alphabet? Last I checked, «S» does not follow«H». I think in all of the time that I was in here, I saw all of two staffers. One manning the single checkout lane that was up and running, one at the customer service desk. That second was actually quite helpful — she verified that although all of the stores in the area carry Settlers, none of them have it in stock(what?!) — she even went so far as to call Target, across the street, to see if they had it. No dice. Her final recommendations was to check a hobby shop nearby which carries older games. Ultimately, I was completely unsuccessful at getting my hands on a game of Settlers. I did end up with Apples to Apples. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good board game, especially one recommended by some of my favorite Unilocalers.
