Subway

Came here with the family to grab a bite between shopping. There was no line but for some reason Roman behind the counter was so rude and kept throwing stuff as he was making our sandwiches. I am really not sure what his issue was, perhaps because I was a woman or perhaps I was not Hispanic (since he only wanted speak in Spanish) the service was so poor and i was so insulted. This is a prime example of how not to do your job. If I was the owners or manger I would never have someone like Roman behind the counter.

I hate Subway. The sandwiches aren’t any good. Subway has become a substandard sub place. They need to improce the quality of everything before I’ll ever go back.

My heart is broken. What has happened to something that was so great? I love Subway and everything that they offer — but I feel like over the last year, all the local stores (Sterling and Great Falls) have gotten ‘cheap’ and try to short change you by putting less on each sandwich/​salad. This store used to be my favorite — friendly staff, good portions, etc… But then something has changed …
I think many of the stores are now owned by the same people and I assume they are training their staff to not put as many toppings on as the used too. For example I noticed that I used to get enough tomatoes, spinach or pickles on whatever sandwich or salad I wanted. Now — EVERY TIME I have to ask for more than the 4 leaves of spinach they add, or the 2 pickles they put on a six inch. Also — there have been times that my salad is barely half full and most of it is the shredded lettuce.
I have seen this trend over the last year — and I feel it’s time to say something. I am now voting with my feet and going else where for my lunches /​dinners because there are a lot more competitors that now offer healthier food options. I do hope they change this trend …

This is our favorite Subways! It’s right next door to Panera and relatively new. The lines are long sometimes but the food is worth it. The subs have been consistently good, the breads reasonably fresh, and the cookies have been soft and delicious every time we’ve gotten them. We’ve been going here since it opened and for us, it’s better then the other ones nearby. Try it!
