We discovered Wingstop on our community FB Group. It started out as a fun«quest» to settle the never-ending argument«who had the best wings.» The owner was there the day I stopped in — and I told him about finding his restaurant on FB. He was very appreciative and very nice. My teenagers loved the Wingstop wings and quickly introduced their friends to it. It has become their«go to» place for ‘comfort food’. They have been going for over 1 year, but more times than not– they come home complaining about the service and how the portions are very inconsistent. Today was ‘the day!’ I was not willing to let it fall on deaf ears. After the 30 inches of snow over the weekend, they begged to venture out to Wingstop. Today my daughter called from there — asking me if it «seemed normal» for the server to pick up my sons fries and pour some onto my daughters pile when they expressed the unevenness of the servings. I assure you, an adult would not accept it — but because they are teens, I cannot help but question the level of service they are receiving. I contacted the store. Big mistake for the manager to ‘question me’ and tell me that she did not see anything going on. Natalie(mgr.) started to disagree with me — but I reminded her that they are paying customers and they are still in the restaurant. She never offered an apology or words of concern. When I told my daughter that I spoke with the manager, she immediately said, «she is the one that hates us!» Of course I have to question why anyone would continue to go to a restaurant where they are not made to feel welcome and their patronage appreciated. I called back — to clarify who she was(because I did not want to use her name in error) and she gladly replied, «yes, the owner is well aware of your kids — they always have a complaint about the food!» Wow! Seriously are you going to say that? The food is not cheap — a lunch runs them $ 10 pp. and the portions are always inconsistent and the wings have gotten smaller over the past year. Thankfully they are from the generation of photographing everything, and the pictures warrant the complaint. I will do what it takes to turn them away from Wingstop; I am certain there are many other options in our area.

They are so nice! They were one of a few places open during this snow storm. They even have the playoffs on. Food is great and they are friendly and they take time to explain all the options.

First, I will mention I’m not a fan of chicken wings. I will eat them once a year if that. I walked in around 6 pm there were five guest and it took 30 minutes for my order of 20 wings. They were not even that good. I will probably not go back for a long time. Maybe it would be better to call ahead and pick up wings to go.

I have never had a bad experience when visiting this Wingstop location. It is one of my go-to places when visiting northern Virginia. Hampton Roads has recently opened a location but in all aspects, this location far exceeds expectations. The customer service is great! All employees I have come across have been welcoming and helpful. The owner of this location is extremely nice. Whenever I visit, the owner is often there which I believe is great for him to actually interact with his customers and clean the restaurant. The food is worth it! Wings are a decent size and the sauces/rubs are all awesome. You can ask them to try flavors if you are unsure what to get. My favorite is the Louisiana rub. You cannot go wrong with their lemon pepper while mango habanero is the perfect balance between heat and sweet. I love their fries with the regular seasoning. It has some sugar to it so it’s different but addicting! Never felt the need to try it a different way. The celery and carrot sticks are always a good portion and fresh. Atmosphere is clean and casual! They have a lot of TVS which are usually on sports channels. Music selection in the restaurant is also pretty cool. I guess what gets people is the wait for the food? I don’t know. I have always waited a normal/decent time for my made to order/fresh food and it is TOTALLY worth it.

I think this place has pretty great family meal packages, so that’s why my family and I like to get take out from here. The sauces on the wings are delicious, I always get hot, parmesan, and lemon pepper. For the family meals, it’s an extra $ 4 for the flag wings if you prefer those. The fries are delicious with their cheese sauce on the side! The reason for the three star is because the service here is incredibly slow. I ordered online at 6:50, they quoted me to pick up at 7:30, and I didn’t get my food until 8:00. Even when they gave me my order, they got some of the stuff wrong, so be sure to look before you leave the place!

Could have rated the place better but I’ve been irritated twice. Wings are good, tenders are better. The sauces are OK but I would like to see some more variety. The bad part. The close randomly and don’t adhere to their business hours. Twice over the span of a couple months they have closed early during the week. The say there hours are till 11PM well customers expect you be open till 11PM. Also, they stop answering the phone it seems 20 – 30 minutes prior to closing. If its late and you want wings and they decided to stay open then it hits the spot. Make sure you call first!!! If it happend once OK I can deal but twice its now a trend — a very irritating one!!!

I finally stopped here after months of procrastinating and it was worth the wait and anticipation. So glad they have a wing spot that is somewhat high-end fast food or as I call it «good food quickly.» The Cajun and Parmesan flavors are what I ordered and both were awesome. I’ll need to try their other flavors at some point. They’re fries are good too but have a lot of seasoning. I’ll ask them to tone that down next time so my blood pressure won’t spike. It’s a solid location and they’re open until midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Get your wing on here and don’t forget those wet napkins!

I was very disappointed with wing stop in Sterling. The wings had no flavor and the fries were limp and flavorless. I had requested mild sauce but there was so little sauce i’m not sure there was enough to coat one wing never mind the whole order. If I had eaten in the restaurant I would’ve been able to ask for more sauce, unfortunately we got takeout and didn’t want to go back. Probably won’t ever go back.

We have tried Wing Stop twice… never again. The wings are flavorless the fries have a weird after taste and the service is horrible. The second try we actually throw everything away and went elsewhere.

GARBAGE!!! I don’t know if I caught them on a bad day or what. I went in there late one afternoon, around 3pm during the week(this was probably three weeks ago). I ordered Buffalo wings and the Garlic Parmesan wings. Worst wings I’ve ever had. It was like they just threw them in a deep fryer, sprinkled some seasoning on them, left them sitting around for hours, and then served. them. ABSOLUTECRAP. They were dry and crunchy and just horrible. The Garlic Parmesan was like they just sprinkled some Parmesan cheese out of a shaker onto some dry nasty wings and served them to me. I ate maybe four of my dozen and threw the rest in the garbage. The owner, Neal Frank, was in there to and I didn’t even want to speak to him after his employees served me such poor quality food. I conclude I must have caught them on a bad day. There is no way they would be in business, or will last very long, if that is what they serve. I write that because I see there are positive reviews on Frank’s site, so I figure they all cannot have had the wings I had and then turned around and wrote good reviews NOWAY. Those were like eating burnt leather on chicken bones. I hope they do better. I don’t think I can return after that experience. My recommendation is save your money. You can get get better quality wings from the counter at 7⁄11.

The place is nice. Tv’s with different stations playing so you don’t get bored. Spacey seating. The wings themselves are very well done. They taste pretty good and their deals are not bad. The thing other than the service and wait time that really has me dislike this place was that they CHARGED you for ranch. They CHARGED for ranch at a WINGPLACE! When you think of wings you think of ranch. This place made me so disappointed that I had to make a review.

Food was very well priced, prepared and they even offer Combos unlike most wing where isn’t Combo’d. We had a pleasant experience. The only reason why this place would not get five stars is simply because they’re comparing them to other wing places seasonings and topping. The business and service is great.

My son ordered boneless wings — a perfect choice since these are what a kid would call chicken nuggets. He enjoyed them. I got classic wings. I usually order my wings dry with the sauces on the side, but neglected to do this here. They were tasty. I got ½ with garlic parmesan. I was surprised to find that this was garlicky sauce that then had parmesan cheese sprinkled(heavily) on it. It was a nice combination. The other half were classic and nice. The fries were good, crispy as I’d ordered them. The 2 meals, including drinks, was $ 21. I was dismayed to see just a few tables that were quite close together available as the two largest tables«reserved» for poker. Turns out that one night a week, they host poker games. While my son & I were there, the games began. They also had TVs playing the sports channel with the sound on. I don’t generally care for TV on while I’m eating, and especially with the sound on. The weirdest thing about Wingstop is the trash cans — or lack thereof. There are no trash cans anywhere in the customer area. You bring your trash to the counter where you order and place it there until they see it. This wouldn’t be my first choice for enhancing the dining or ordering experience. The restroom was clean and well-maintained. As this location isn’t too convenient for me, it’s unlikely that Wingstop will become a regular haunt for me. But I did enjoy the food.

I haven’t hit up Wingstop on a regular basis like I used to, but even after not coming in for a while, I was greeted with the enthusiasm as if I were a brand new customer. The place is still as clean as when it first opened(care has been taken by the owner to keep things clean and looking like new). The owner is usually around too and often checks to see how I like my meal. Every time I am there, the wings are consistently fantastic and I end up scarfing them down in very little time. The yeast rolls have become a favorite of mine as well. The beer selections are pretty good and the prices are better than your typical happy hour. When school starts up again, I am sure I will be visiting Wingstop on a weekly basis, which is completely fine by me. If you haven’t tried these wings out yet, then get your butt in here as you have no idea what you are missing!!!

It has been a while since I returned to my favorite wing joint. Got off the plane and it was 11 pm, there is no where else to eat really at that hours. Wingstop come to my rescue, it opens until midnight. Call to double check, staff asked what time will I arrive, I said as soon as I get there. They said it is a bit slow but will wait for me. I was not disappointed, The wing was fried just right, crispy skin and juicy meat. The sauce was good. I had the Classic, 10 wings with 2 favors, plus one soda. My companions has a meal with fries. All under 10 bucks per person. What more can I ask? No doubt I will be back.

If coming here with a friend, I would recommend getting a meal for two, like the 15 wing combo with large fries and 2 regular drinks for $ 16.99. With tax it came out to be 18.01, and we ordered on our mobile app so we got to add on the free 5 boneless wing offer. Not bad for the amount of food we got. I was very pleased that the order came out exactly as we wanted when we arrived. They even changed our order to eat-in rather than carry out when I went to the front cashier. The parmesan flavor wings I’m not a huge fan of, because the cheese is too powdery(like those shelf cheeses you get in grocery stores to put on top of pasta). The lemon pepper wings, however, are delicious and on point! Not too peppery, and tons of flavor. When ordering online, there’s a space for«special instructions» and we put down Cajun seasoning for our fries instead of the Wing Stop seasoning. Which I prefer because their house seasoning is a tad bit sweet…(Maybe that’s why I didn’t have such a great experience last visit?) However, they definitely have improved with the food since I came by when they opened and I was very satisfied with my meal.

It opened recently in our area and we finally got to try it… we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is in a small strip mall and you could easily miss it while driving by. Inside, it was clean probably because it was new and the staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and the options. You can actually get a taste of each wings flavor before you order so that you don’t have bad surprised! I tried a couple and ended up with the Cajun and BBQ flavor and both of them were fresh and delicious. The seasoned fries were fresh as well. They also had boneless wings, platters just in time for Superbowl I guess! A small complaint though, no napkins on the table for messy wings and you have to tear off a roll at the counter which is awkward and dirty with dirty hands. On the plus side, no trash cans and they pick up after you. I need to try a few more times to make sure…

I was über excited when I heard Wingstop was in the Loudoun County area. I heard alot of great things about the franchise and since I’m a wing lover I was eager to try it out. I visited Jan 9, it was raining and foggy but I trekked that way despite the dreary weather. Upon entry, it’s clean, relatively new and had a good crowd. The staff greeted me and was eager to take my order. I looked over the menu at the variety of sauces and decided to go with 10 piece, 2 sauce option with fries. I ordered the mild wings + parmesan wings, 5 of each, also Hot wings + lemon pepper wings and fries. Everything looked good but lacked BIG time in taste! The wings were overcooked, almost to a rubbery form, the hot wings were not hot, lemon pepper was too much pepper, parmesan wings were ewww… much better wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. And the fries had some weird vinegary, season salt mix. Not impressed. I’m contemplating if I will give it another shot but as of now I’m undecided! For now, I will take Buffalo Wild Wings for $ 500 Alex!!!

**** 3 ½ Stars **** — — — — — — — — — My 400th review and it is for Wingstop. Yeah, I know… It is what it is… After finding out that Wingstop opened in Sterling and seeing that the reviews thus far have been decent, we decided to go here for a cheap Saturday night dinner. It’s located in a newish shopping center that has a few vacant store fronts which gives the center an almost ghost-town like look. We arrived here around 5:30 p.m. Even though we looked at the menu online, we still needed to decide what flavor chicken wings we wanted. You go to the counter to place your order then wait for your name to be called. There is a menu board but it is lacking. There is no mention on it of the wing flavors. Instead, you have to pick up a brochure with a more detailed menu that is kept by the register. So, it took us a bit of time to figure out exactly what we wanted. We decided to get one of their«Meals for 2» and chose the 15 piece wing combo. It consists of 15 wing pieces and you can choose up to 2 different flavors. Plus it also comes with 1 large order of fresh cut seasoned fries and a choice of dipping sauce(ranch or bleu cheese). In addition, you get 2 soft drinks. We also decided to get a side order of bourbon baked beans. I was surprised to see that if you want to have a side of «crisp veggie sticks»(carrots and celery), there is an extra charge. So, basically, you are expected to dip your wings in either ranch or bleu cheese dressing. We don’t do that and had we known that«crisp veggie sticks» don’t come with the combo, we would have told them not to give us the sauces. All their food is «cooked to order» and«no heat lamps» or «microwaves» are used. So, unless you order ahead of time, expect to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for your food. Our order didn’t come out all at once. We were told that they had cooked up our«mild wings» but they looked really small so they were making bigger ones for us. So, our hickory smoked BBQ wings came out first, along with the baked beans and dipping sauces. Someone brought them out from the kitchen directly to our table. A few minutes later, the mild wings and the fries arrived. The mild wings are deceptive looking as they look like hot ones that were dipped in tabasco sauce. My husband was afraid to try them. It was only after I had one and assured him that they were mild did he try them He agreed with me that they weren’t hot and had good flavor. The hickory smoked BBQ ones had a nice BBQ sauce flavoring with a generous coating of sauce. I ended up liking them better than the mild ones, while my husband preferred the mild ones. We expected the wings to be meatier but they weren’t scrawny either. Still, we have had better wings elsewhere and… we’ve also had worse ones. The fries were quite good. They came to the table piping hot. The seasoning had a salty taste with an undercurrent of sweetness going on. The baked beans were sweet but the bourbon flavoring came through. We both enjoyed them. There are no napkins, just a paper towel holder at the counter where you rip off as much as you think you will need. Also, ketchup and a few other condiments are available. They do have plastic forks but the container they are kept in is easy to miss. In fact, when our food came out, I had to ask the guy where the forks were and he brought us one. The soda machine is a touch screen one. We would go again but I think next time we will order in advance so that our meal will be ready when we arrive. In fact, we both agree that we would like to try some of their other wing sauces. They have quite a large selection of them and they are listed by order of hotness with the hottest one listed first and the mildest ones at the bottom. Dinner was, indeed cheap. It cost $ 20 + change and we left feeling full! Service was friendly and courteous.
