I have to drive 8 hours from North Carolina to get the best pizza ever!!! When you walk in the shop the smell of the pizza sauce takes you away. On this visit the crust was the perfect ratio of thick and crunchy and the sauce had a great tomato flavor with a little spice kick!!! Don’t expect anything fancy when you walk in. The hand written poster has the prices listed per slice. Stick with the basic pepperoni it is the best.

Well I don’t know how I feel about changing my rating to a 3. However the place needs to get their shit together. Pizza is still most of the time sometimes it is down right nasty. I guess it depends on who makes it. But don’t ever call in your order because it is NEVER ready! Why do they do that? My Dad says the same happens to him too. Anyways I don’t typically care what a place looks like except for the food and if the place is clean. But wow talk about Ghetto there is a handwritten poster board on the wall with big strips of tape, paper all over the pop machine buttons etc. That makes me wonder if they are clean geez are they for real?

DiCarlo’s and Gianimor’s are both great, too, but Ray’s is Pizza king in the Ohio Valley!

I drive 20 minutes one way to get this pizza when I have access to 10 pizza shops less than 5 minutes away. Trust me this pizza is that good. Always plenty of cheese and pepperoni. Sauce is delicious and the crunch of the crust is to die for. I absolutely love it.

Of all the square pizza shops in the area, Ray’s is the best. Always fresh & crunchy with a hearty helping of cheese. Absolutely delish!!!
