This is my favorite restaurant in Stevens Point! The food is fresh, tasty and made to order, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their homemade soups are a delicious treat, not to be missed!

Bistro 212 is easily some of the best food Stevens Point has to offer, and no doubt the best lunch spot we found while spending time there. The food is delicious, local, and cooked to perfection by Sal, who is friendly and a very talented chef. I’d recommend the salmon and the sweet potato hash — both are unreal!

On my way home from Madison I found this bistro, only because I checked Unilocal for a restaurant on Stevens Point’s east side. It is a great find. My husband had what he called«the best ever» soup, Sweet Potato and Corn Chowder. I was equally pleased with my flat bread pizza with creamy chèvre, wild mushrooms, and grated Parmesan. The chef is a very friendly guy, willing to share his preparation of the chowder.

I am a regular at Bistro having discovered it about a month ago. This is by far the best lunch place in town. My coworkers and I go to lunch everyday Monday through Thursday and have tried every restaurant in the Point. The sweet potato hash is delightful featuring corn, bacon, onions and eggs. Other highlights include the salmon and the Charlie. All of the ingredients are sourced locally and are super fresh. Sal is a genius at plating and the presentation is what you would expect from a restaurant in New York. The service is great and everyone is helpful and willing to tell you more about every dish. Bistro has convinced us to have a corporate function with Sal cooking for us. As an added bonus, their monster cookies fall apart in your mouth when warmed.

We were traveling through Wisconsin and checked Unilocal for a place to eat lunch. I was apprehensive when we pulled up to this restaurant because it’s in a fitness center. I am glad we selected it — our sandwiches were wonderful. I wish the food service at my fitness center was this good.

Highly recommended! If you haven’t tried the Bistro lately, put it on your list. Every time I eat there it seems to get better. Just had breakfast and I’ve never had an omelet as good! I don’t know where they get the goat cheese, but it was better than any I’ve ever tasted.(Goat cheese on an omelet you say? Trust me, try it!) Customer service is also excellent!

My mother so graciously gave my husband and I a gift certificate for the bistro, and even more graciously offered to watch our children so we could have a date. Between the two of us, we had the muscles, crab cakes, mushroom risotto with grilled veggies, and chocolate crème brule. The sauce on the muscles was fantastic, which were also cooked to perfection, the crab cakes were perfect, with a sauce that complimented perfectly. The risotto needed a touch more salt, but otherwise was perfect. The bistro lost a star for the crème brule. The flavors were perfect, but there was no crunch to the top, no crispy layer, and my husband bit into a whole peppercorn. Overall, it was a lovely meal, a tad overpriced, but I would gladly eat there again and recommend it to my friends.

Adventure 212 Bistro is great, you need to receive proper nutrition after a good workout, so I like cruising in there after hitting the gym during the mornings and get prepared for the day. Everything is tasty and on point! I’ve had several protein shakes /smoothies and all of them are fantastic. I’ve also gone during lunch time for sandwiches, wraps and soup. The food is great, competitively priced and the ingredients are fresh. The only negative thing is service related, when they are getting traffic you may find yourself in a line and waiting.

Last update for Bistro 212, I think. I was super pumped to get lunch here today, since my last experience was so good. Unfortunately, this place seems to be hit-and-miss. Today’s experience? Blah. I ordered a bowl of soup, and when I got back to work and opened it up, it was less than half full. Glad I paid for all that soup I didn’t get! It was potato-bacon chowder, and the potatoes weren’t even cooked all the way through, nor was the bacon. It was severely underwhelming for a lunch I’d been looking forward to all morning. I think this might be my last visit to the bistro for a while.
