Not bad. Service was very slow, but when the waitperson realized we had been sitting 45 minutes for our order to arrive, the meal was comped. Good gringo style burrito and especially good pinto beans. A wide selection of beers and margaritas. For a town as small as Stevenson, one of several good choices.

Awesome fish tacos. I love when they use fresh grilled Fish instead of deep fried fish sticks. Tacos were filled with delicious salmon, fresh coleslaw and Pico and topped with guacamole. Perfectly complimented with pinto beans and Spanish rice. The Mexican Mule was a little disappointing, fresh lime tequila and a ginger syrup, I was hoping the ginger would make a stronger presence, but the bartender was great and fixed it up to my liking. Would definitely come back.

Found this restaurant because of the good reviews on Unilocal.Must say I very much agree. The homemade salsa and fajitas are excellent. Put this on your to do list because we definitely will next time we’re in the area.

Get the fajitas! They are always good! Tortilla soup is grand! They have loads of different hot sauces to choose from! The Cadillac margaritas are really good, too!

This was a delightful surprise! This may have been El Rio Café at some point and I don’t know if they’ve changed ownership or what. Anyway, we came here for dinner during a weekend getaway to our cabin near Stevenson. This place is not fancy but not a dive either. I can best describe it as a «Southwest in the Northwest» type joint. It’s got a bar, booths, and overall a pretty lively atmosphere and crowd, at least on the Friday evening we were there. The place was full(not packed) of mostly locals and a few non-locals(not sure if they’re tourists necessarily). Anyway, we were impressed with the quality of food and level of service. The ingredients in the dishes seemed really fresh, didn’t detect any hint of anything having come out of a can. The Mexican Steak was especially noteworthy; it was tender, juicy, and cooked just right with well-balanced amount of seasoning(drooling on my keyboard here). Also, if your evening needs some spicing up, they have a shelf full of different brands of hot sauces to try on your dishes, choose carefully or just try ‘em all! If you do, wash it all down with their wonderful cocktails; we enjoyed their fresh peach margarita! The wait staff are down-to-earth friendly and genuinely attentive; food arrived promptly. So, if you happen to be visiting Stevenson and need a good bite, you gotta chow down here!
