We booked a night here because we were attending a wedding nearby and all the nicer(affordable) hotels were booked. Still, we thought, how bad can it be for $ 99? We only needed to shower and sleep there and we didn’t have much choice. Plusses: big room, friendly owner, a/c, fridge, microwave, king size bed, and location. However, we couldn’t use any of the electrics as the power was out. When the power came back on we noticed: BLACKMOLD around the shower — eek! That, and the super thin, scratchy towels(only two), holes in the wall(?), the drawers in the dresser were falling off/broken so we couldn’t use it, a broken sink plug, lots of cobwebs plus a really uncomfortable bed made me feel icky. This place is falling apart, dirty and not worth $ 99. Thank goodness we were only there for one night!

I agree with the above poster, the people are sooo nice. The man who checked me in was pleasant and upgraded me from a double to a queen, and when the key didn’t work fixed the lock quickly. This is a motel a it claims, not a hotel, but no better place to get a good nights sleep and be able to enjoy the gorge during the day. The waterfront is a three minute drive and views are spectacular. I even got a view of the river in my room! I’d definitely stay here again rather than paying at the very least double at any of the surrounding lodges. It is very clean, everything works, spacious light room and can’t complain for the price, location, and service. Stayed again a few weeks later and they were good to me. Keep it up.

Very nice hotel, and room for the dollar. Had a nice stay. Room was clean, had stove, regular size refrigerator nice queen bed. Staff quick to please. Funny note. Our key would not work. The managers key would not work. All our stuff was inside. Staff had to go through window to get us in. It was all good. Follows under things happen. Still recommend.

Stevenson, Wa is a very small town. It has two motels. The Rodeway Inn is not a luxury or even a semi-luxury motel. What it is… a very, very, clean comfortable low cost($ 44/night on my AARP) motel. The room was clean, clean, clean. Amenities included a small, very nice refrigerator and microwave. Adequate TV, old style, yet adequate, WIFI and coffee in the room. The deciding factor is the owners. When I checked in(I have arthritis and walk with a limp) the owner said«the only rooms left are on the second story, there are five steps to go up in the room you will be in. Will you be ok? I will help you up the steps and carry your luggage. I want you to be ok. I’m sorry we have no ground floor rooms left». Now tell me, when have any of you received this quality service from a $ 44/night motel. Heck when have you last stayed in a quality motel for $ 44? Not fancy, extremely clean, comfortable bed, did I say clean, can’t emphasize that one enough. Very quiet, good heating, all in all a great little motel for the price. Includes continental breakfast. There is a train that runs thru frequently yet I love the sound of the train horns soooo, can’t complain about that. It was not that loud. My only complaint about this motel, the pillows could be better. I gave this a 5 star not because it’s luxury, because it is clean, great owners and a lovely little place to stay for the price. Did I say clean, like spotlessly clean.
