It was my birthday yesterday and I went to Cub in Stillwater. Love the store layout! Love the flagship Cub store!

I love shopping at Cub and this is my favorite of the 3 I regularly visit. The layout is just about perfect, the staff always seems friendly and helpful, and shelves always stocked. They have a larger than normal meat/​fish area that is very important to me.

This is the best Cub in town!
Wide assortment of the things that matter:
* Fresh produce
* Organic produce and packaged foods
* Fresh meat and fish counters
* A bakery that gets better every month
* Big selection of domestic and imported cheeses
* Fresh olive bar
* Sushi made on the premises
* Decent selection of international foods for a mainstream grocery
* Bright, clean store
* Adjacent liquor store so you can grab a quick bottle of wine to go with your dinner!
All this at Cub prices – it’s a winning combination.
Where they could improve:
* Deli foods are kind of ho-​hum, salads tend to taste like Miracle Whip.
* Not a great selection of coffees. I’d like to see some espressos, like Alessi or Illy
* Sometimes they abruptly discontinue products and leave me scrounging
