The steamed veggies are the best! My husband and I try to make it there every Wednesday for dinner and bingo. Great staff and management! Long time favorite of ours.

So this is a pretty basic bar/grill option on main street. The food here is okay, but you’d be hard pressed to come here if it wasn’t to watch a game. In a way its like buffalo wild wings, only local and with smaller screens. I had a bacon cheeseburger here, it was a little dry and the bun was super greasy, but it was priced well and the beer on tap was only a little overpriced. TL;DR: okay food with slightly overpriced beer.

Very good Sports Bar with great food and a very solid beer selection. Can be quite busy during game days so arrive early if possible. The fried green beans and fried pickles are both great starters. I usually go for a salad or the Spicy Sausage Pizza, although I have never had anything that wasn’t great here. A very economical spot with solid food, and reasonably priced beer.

I love Louie’s! They stay open pretty late and they have great beer. For a bar, the food is really good too, especially their sandwiches.

The spot to hang out on game days! Not a bad thing to say about this establishment! From being intrigued by the cute downtown area we were in and eating outside on a beautiful day our party of eight had a wonderful time! Our waitress was so friendly and energetic. She was happy to help us with any questions and knew the menu inside and out. The bucket of six beers for $ 12.00 and $.50 wings to start had our party off on the right foot. Even with how busy they were we got our food right away and they catered to my vegetarian needs(bonus!). The management staff were helpful to the servers which stands out to me and they were nice too. We would certainly consider coming here next time in Stillwater!

We’ve been here several times and enjoyed everything we ordered. The service is excellent. The food is all sports-bar-type food, but done extremely well.

I loved this little bar and grill spot. The food is reasonably priced, the service was very good. The chicken tender wrap was very good. I prefer thick fries but the thin ones were hot and fresh. $ 4 for a beer on tap, not bad. The frito chili pie(not what it was called…) was ok, probably wouldn’t have that again.

Great place for an easy uncomplicated meal. We love the fried pickles, the generous drinks are great and we are fans of the beef nachos for takeout!

I like many things on the menu! The service is always good. I love the sandwiches and salads! Their pizza is good too! The only thing I can find wrong is that it’s a little area and a little cramped. I would go a little early you might not get seated immediately.

2.5 stars actually. The service was great, the place is clean, but you could barely serve a cheaper version of a turkey sandwich. Picture? Because I took a picture. My $ 8 plate has about a 90 cent food cost. Good quality for a cafeteria. The bartender is cute.

Louie’s has great food and great atmosphere! Was very busy when I went there, but it didn’t take long for them to have my food out to me. If your looking for a fun place with good food then this is your place.

We had a very nice lunch. Mrs Eva had a burger and fantastic sweet potato fries. I had the supreme pizza. The crust was excellent and the toppings delicious. Our service was good, but we had 3 different servers and didn’t know exactly who was in charge of our table. A nice trendy place that we will enjoy again.

Wanted to give this place a try as Joes had an hour wait, again. We were seated as soon as we walked in the door! The servers were on top on us getting our drink and apps order. Remember this is a bar in a college town so the noise level is on the high side. Fried green beans were really good! The food took a long time to come out. To be fair they just got slammed with the lunch rush and tables were clearing out as we sat and waited. Empty apps were cleared and we waited some more. Around 30 mins after apps the food did come out. It was all correct… good, just not great. We will give them another try sometime. Chalk this visit up to a busy kitchen staff needing a second wind.

Louie’s has a lot going for it. The best Downtown Stillwater hangout.

Our favorite Stillwater restaurant. Great place for unique salads, pizzas and burgers. Mustang on tap is a big plus.(Nothing beats a Mustang Route 66 to go with the Big Lou burger!) Manager usually stops by the table to see how our meal and service is. Good for groups of 4 – 6 or just a casual dinner for two on one of their hi-tops. They have a few tables for groups of 8 – 10 but no more than two groups could be seated at once. Oh, sports in TVs… Not over powering but you can keep up with a game if interested.

Friendly staff but not a great food selection. I feel like there are very few items to choose from and the portions are very small. Also there is not enough space around the tables. I always feel very crammed regardless of where we sit

Although the name indicates«Grill and Bar», the atmosphere during lunch enabled all groups of people to enjoy their meal, even families. Arriving during a busy lunch time we were able to quickly be seated at a high-top table. Service was very efficient throughout the meal with drink refills happening on a regular basis. The Reuben sandwich was huge, very flavorful, and was able to be split between two people. The southwest chicken wrap was loaded with chicken and filling and had a nice heat/spice which didn’t overpower the wrap. While the noise level was higher than most places we stop, we were still able to have a good conversation.

I love Louie’s! I used to live really close and it became my neighborhood bar and restaurant. The service is always great. The food is always good and the drinks are always refreshing. Sometimes there is a little wait because the place is pretty small but if you can find a place at the bar(if you are old enough) you are sure to be pleased.

I’ve noticed something about Stillwater restaurants — they aren’t super keen on students. Sometimes I feel like getting out of my house to do my reading, and I don’t always want to go to a coffee shop to do that. I stopped in Louie’s to have a beer, some food, and do a little reading. I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and attentive my waitress was, even with a book in front of me. She wasn’t pushy or rude when I sat by myself, and she also didn’t avoid me since I was alone. Her service alone was good enough to make me come back. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, and seemed to really enjoy working there. I like the open seating, there’s a really nice beer selection, and it isn’t too loud around 6 or 7 pm. Since I was reading, it would have been nice if the lights had been brighter, but hey… That’s not really what Louie’s is for. I give this place 4 stars, not 5, because there aren’t many vegetarian options on the menu. That said, they’re more than happy to take meat off of any salad or offer any recommendations if you’re torn about what to pick. I had the Asian salad, minus the chicken, and was pretty happy with the overall meal. It was a large salad, the dressing was really good, and the ingredients were pretty fresh. I won’t argue with all that for $ 8.

Went to Louie’s for after dinner drinks and to hang out with some people from OSU. We went to Eskimo Joe’s first but it was ridiculously busy being grad weekend. It was also a VERY young crowd hanging out there. I know it’s probably sacrilegious to people from Stillwater but Eskimo Joes seems like a two story version of a Red Robin restaurant(sorry, don’t shoot me). I was pleased to be offered a different option. Louie’s fit the bill. Nice, older crowd. Still active but not so loud that we couldn’t talk. Drinks were good, service was nice, atmosphere casual and comfortable. Can’t wait for my next visit.
