Service is horrible, especially if you’re young, food was awful, it’s the next day and I’m really feeling it. Next time I’ll go for Taco Bell, it’s it bit more authentic.

I’ve been coming to the Brookside location for years and have not had an unpleasant experience until tonight. Halfway through my meal I found a hair in my plate. I politely told my waitress and she told me that my meal would be taken off the bill. Then again why would I pay for a meal with a hair in it? The issue I have tonight is that they didn’t try to correct the manner. Didn’t offer to make the meal again, nothing! I asked to speak to the manager Raphael Flores Sn and he refused to come out to speak with me. All I wanted to do was express my experience and to suggest that his staff could’ve done a better job on handling it. The fact that Raphael didn’t come out to speak with me, shows me his lack in leadership.

Got takeout from here a few weeks ago, so my review is a bit dated. The food was great. I got a pretty basic meal that came with a chicken taco and a beef enchilada. I called my order in ahead of time because I knew it would be a bit busy there. The only negative was that when I got there the line between waiting for a table and takeout was a bit confusing, but I blame that on the customers for not paying attention. Overall great tasting food and great service both on the phone and in person.

My family and I are never disappointed when we come here since we live near by. We ordered take out and our burritos were huge! The kid loved her quesadilla as always. The guy in the front was super friendly and made sure my order got out in a timely manner. The burritos we got were super tasty, with the extra gauc and sour cream.

Ordered take out of 3 fish Fajitas — at the time of pick up was 3 chicken Fajitas– after I corrected they brought 3 fish fajitas — when we were home these felt like poorly cooked Fajitas

We have had food at the Restaurent before which is average — good — my complain has been the take outs

Overall, I have mostly had terrible experiences at Casa Flores restaurants. No I’m not related to them, thankfully, and I never recommend them to anyone. Whenever I go, they 1) get my order wrong 2) bring me cold food 3) have terrible service or 4) all of the above. So when I went to this locator for lunch with a few colleagues (educators) I did not have high expectations. Service was great at first. Food was just okay. To continue with their disappointing streak, they charged my friend who asked for a refill to go. After we had just eaten there. Rude. Anyway. For this particular location, not a bad place, but not that great either.

I had the No. 1 beef taco, beef enchilada, chile relleno, side of chile verde and chile colorado combination. When the waitress first took the order, I thought I was choosing among the five items. You get all 5 items! What a massive amount of food!
Great service. Very attentive on following up after receiving our food, i.e., chips, salsa, water, margaritas, removing dirty dishes, etc.
The location is pretty remote so I expect that the only people that go here are from the area. If I lived there, I would consider it a neighborhood gem.

Although I didn’t expect much I was hoping for somewhat of a decent dinner here. Stockton isn’t blessed with many nice sit down Mexican restaurants and living in Brookside I really wish Casa Flores would do a better job.
To start off its located in such a nice area/​neighborhood (not being biased) but the inside is just not very well decorated or put together. It felt bare and really outdated.
The food was just below average, even the chips and salsa. I got a veggie enchillada and asked them to put grilled onions and peppers inside and they looked at me like I was crazy. The enchillada came out cold and tasted worse than my hospitals cafeteria. My friend got fish tacos and was highly disappointed too.
Worse of all it was pretty pricey for a crappy meal so I’m most def not coming back and would not recommend it to others.
Really wish we had more restaraunts in Brookside that were worth visiting.

The chicken Sopa was good !!! The beans and rice blahh!!! The service was very fast.

Came here to get take-​out with my mom about 3 weeks ago. My mom went in to place our order while I waited in the car. Menu said all combinations on a certain page would be $ 1 higher after 3:30pm. I ordered a combo plate off of that page and our order was put in before that time and the receipt shows a time before then too, but we were still charged the extra amount. I saw the receipt and my mom went in to get it fixed. I don’t care if it was a small amount, for me it does make a difference. The woman started to say something to my mom about it, then suddenly went into the back. When she came back out with our food, she didn’t say they would fix it and my mom didn’t say anything further about it. The employee was like that the entire time. She would leave mid-​sentence and was rude. We wanted chips with our meals and got about half a bag of what tasted like chips that were just about to start going stale. We had a bag of store bought tortilla chips at home that we used instead and tasted a lot better. The rest of the food was good, which is were the 3 stars are coming from, but bad service made it leave a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure about the other locations, but for this one, pay attention to your receipt/​bill before leaving to make sure you were charged correctly.

No improvement since my last post. Service has been terrible, especially if you place an order by phone, to go. Plan to add double the time, to the time you are given. Don’t bother asking if they are behind or if they are sure it will only take 15 — 20 minutes, you will receive a negative, unprofessional response. I’ve been told my order will take 15 minutes to find myself and others waiting 30+ mins. for our order. Last time I ordered, there were about 3 others waiting with me and we all had a discussion about how terrible their service is for to-​go orders. Quite possible they are short staffed? I’ve experienced having to wait several minutes to be helped upon arrival. Hostesses/​waitresses have dual roles and are waiting on tables. I live in Brookside, however will skip convenience for better service and tend to order from Casa Flores Marina for better service and food. If I’m really feeling adventurous, I’ll even drive to the Hammer Lane location for some tasty albondigas, which they serve daily.

Absolutely delicious! I usually order the veggie enchiladas with the gravy sauce! M m M! And the price is really good. This has to be best Mexican restaurant in Stockton!

Good food, fast service, pretty cheap and its tucked away in a nice shopping center so its never too packed. Plus they have beer.

Not sure what happened to Casa Flores in but it is not the same. The chips are basically Tostitos and don’t get me started on the drinks. The worst Margaritas I have ever had. They use a pre made mix and add no tequila. I ordered a perfect margarita that was supposed to have Grand Marnier and tequila however all it taste like was horrible store bought sweet and sour. The good thing is the service. Our waitress was great. She heard all my complaints and brought me wine instead. I hope soon the Casa gets back to where it was when it opened. For now, it’s off to Casa Flores at the Marina.

I read the reviews and decided to keep it simple — I wasn’t at all disappointed. Got exactly what I expected and it tasted just fine. Chips weren’t chewy or stale, salsa was fresh. Host/​waiter were a little awkward with me, but that tends to happen whenever I go to a restaurant by myself to read and eat. They were very polite nonetheless. I would come back again for lunch. Your standard mexican place, nothing super special but a good place to eat.

I had an enchalada, which didn’t have much flavor, and tamales, which only comes with pork… so not much selection. The tamales also tasted like it was recently defrosted. The masa was hard and brittle. The service was terribly slow, and they mucked up my order and accused me of ordering wrong. Two stars only because it was a nice atmosphere.

One of my favorite places to go to in Stockton. Every time I come I get the Beef Enchilada dinner with either a chicken taco or a shredded beef taco on the side. The mole over the enchiladas are very flavorful, and is even better with Dos Equis on the side, lol.

Food is ok, don’t expect anything too exciting here. Beware owner does not know Costco gift certificate policy. He believes only one can be used at a time. He had to make numerous phone calls to acknowledge that these gift certificates can be used more than one at a time. Awkward situation for us but eventually resolved. New bar makes it an ok place to eat.

Okay at best. Chips were chewy, food wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. The service was good and the beer was cold. It will do in a pinch but nothing more than that. Average at best. Hence the 3 star rating.
