David’s Pizza

Pizza and service was great. Had a pepperoni pizza that had great flavor, perfectly cooked crust, and was very easy to eat. The service was also friendly and attentive.
Just about as good as Michael’s in Stockton. I prefer this location to the other David’s in town.

Iv been going to Davids pizza since I was a kid, and you cannot beat the quality! Hands down best pizza in town! My family orders it for all of our parties and get togethers, and everyone loves it!

I visited this location on Hammer Ln and we sat at our table for 30 mins which we cleaned off ourselves. There were 2 large groups next to us, and from what it looked like they had one person covering the whole area. The waitress came to our table when we first sat down to take the previous persons bill and cash and said she would be right with us. Needless to say 30 mins later and my sons $ 5 gone to the arcade we left. I don’t blame the waitress, as it’s not her fault they didn’t care to place another person in her area. We left and went to the location in Lincoln Center, and had a much better experience.

Tried it for my first time and I did not like the fact that they apply so much cheese on the pizza. My honey and I ordered a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños, however, I did not like having to swallow globs of cheese. I don’t even remember the taste of the pizza sauce but only the globs of cheese I was constantly swallowing. Despite that, the crust and garlic bread they had were delicious. Would recommend if you’re a cheesy pizza person, but if not, just tell them to be light on the cheese.

Always great come every (almost) Friday after my daughters ballet class and has become our favorite place for pizza. They set the bar high!

Look at the other reviews… good food HORRIBLE SERVICE. I wish the owner had some pride and hired nice honest workers. I give them two stars because the food is pretty good. I go here often but always get my food to go and take their service with a grain of salt. After my experience today I decided to write on here just to make people aware. The ladies that work the register are completely RUDE. Do they not know they work in customer service? They ignore you and laugh while you stand there in a suit on your lunch break like you have all the time in the world. I ALWAYS order no beans on my salad and ⁵⁄₁₀ times, she puts beans on because she wasn’t listening to what I was saying. Again, good food. HORRIBLE customer service.

This one star is for service. Was put on hold for ten minutes trying to place an order for pick up. I was able to drive to the restaurant and tell the young lady working there I was on hold waiting to place an order. She looks down at the phone and realized it and all she could say was sorry were super busy. Really? No excuse. Asked for a discount on my order for the long wait anf she said there was nothing she could do for me. Too many other pizza places to choose from to put up with this type of service.

Wow! Get the garlic pizza! Amazing! Loved this place. We had three different pizzas but I can’t remember what they were… Just know they were all amazing and we had a great time! Super service as well

The toppings are always generous and they have the best pizza sauce! The pizzas here aren’t as cheap as Little Cesar’s of course but you get WAY more quality: crispy on the outside soft on the inside– delicious crust, tons of savory, thick, red sauce, fresh toppings, and plenty of cheese! The pepperoni pizza is classic and awesome, and another amazing favorite is the veggie gourmet with the white garlic sauce. Our family only eats David’s Pizza.

David’s pizza omg still delicious! Get the family special for 27.00 two top large pitcher soda and a house salad that’s a great deal!!!

I can’t give this place 0 stars so… 1 star it is. Davids has great pizza and burgers but they need to work on the customer service it SUCKS! The last 3 times I have placed my order it has been wrong every TIME and then the employee gets upset with me for letting them know THEY made a mistake and need to FIX MY FOOD! Today I went into the restaurant instead of calling because my order is long and complicated (and the last I called they tuned me out and got ½ my order wrong). When my food is made wrong I don’t get an I’m sorry for the inconvenience, let me discount your total or your next purchase, your food got cold while you were waiting for us to fix it so we made you an order of new fries… NOTHING! I DON’T enjoy eating cold fries/​food. The only reason I even go back is because the food is so good.

The prices on Unilocal are outdated. A small Peoples Choice out the door is $ 18.52
Pizza has never been better.

So I’ve been here twice so far. First time was 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend, her sister in law, and children. Me and my girlfriend had the people’s choice pizza, while the others had a pepperoni and sausage pizza, along with some buffalo wings. The food was excellent, and what made it better was it still tastes great the following day. The second time was just today. This time it was my girlfriend, mom, and the kids. We had the chicken gourmet pizza with fries and buffalo wings. Once again the food was excellent. Will definitely be back for more.

My boyfriend raves about this pizza, having grown up here. Maybe its just me, but their pizza doesn’t impress me. Maybe its because I’ve only had pepperoni on my boyfriend’s behalf, but I’ve had better pizza in Stockton. I really like their dough and sauce here, so three stars for that, but the cheese seems low quality (having worked in a pizza kitchen myself) and there isn’t much consistency here. The sauce has sooo much flavor and the dough is so fresh. Our last pizza was burnt, which is funny because we got there 30 minutes after they told us to pick up, we got there and they told us «two more minutes it needs to cook more» when it was quite the opposite. Well, I will give them another try of course but I think I need to try something I know I’d like more. And I’ll update my review then.

I took my daughter for her birthday dinner tonight, horrible sErvice, Blue moon but it if oranges, Corona no limes, then I order half order if onion Rings And Was Told They Only Had Half Of Half Order Meaning 4 OnIon Rings. Then I get my pizza the pepperoni pizza was cooked, the combo pizza crust was raw tasted like dough and the combo toppings were also raw. I been going there for years just can’t believe that the Service was so bad tonight, and the last couple times I ordered to go pizza was not good and wings are fried to burn like taste. No more chances. I’m done. I’ve was actually embarrassed that my guest had to experience the food and the SErvice! I called today ³⁄₂₅ spoke to the owner he apologized and said next time he will make sure we get sErvice. MAybe a second chance will be granted.

Consistently good tasting pizza pies here. Honestly, one of my top three pizza spots I like to go to in town. All the toppings are fresh, the red sauce is zesty and thick the way I like it, and the crust is tasty too, not too fluffy, not burnt, and not doughy.
On Monday night at 8:40 I called in an order to a spot closer to me but they told me they were closed. They actually closed at 9 but I guess they shut the kitchen down early so I called in at David’s. They close at 10 on the weekdays and were more than glad to take my order. I was very happy with the pie they made and ordered extra on purpose to take to lunch.
Good service, good food, and good hours during the week. Come here for pizza and be satisfied. Asparagus pizza is here!!!

First of all they do not make change for $ 100 even if you your total is $ 93 they will not break $ 100. Let people know when they call. Also train your workers to have better phone skills or keep them off the phone. I asked if they had any specials she says yes, «happy hour and family» then nothing. ok I have no clue what those mean I’m thinking mind explaining? So I then ask after a few moments of silence while I wait for her to explain, I ask what are those specials? We ordered 3 pizzas 2 of them were part of a family special 1 was a large New Yorker. All 3 well done. Large Pepperoni and sausage with a dinner salad and a large half pepperoni and half pepperoni with bell peppers. The pizzas were not well done. Not to mention they were just ok today. Last time they pizza was better but this time it was lackluster, nothing special. Nothing to keep me coming back. Not sure what’s happening here at David’s Pizza but someone needs to get it together here and bring the pizza back up to par! Today the pizza was just ok.

Finally made it out to try David’s Pizza. Been a long time fan of the YouTube video, cracks me up every time I watch it. Started off with some mozzarella sticks and chicken wings, both were very good. Then had a cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza as the main. Both were very good. Sauce was good, cheese was yummy, and dough was quite tasty. Would definitely come back… PIZZA!

Once I saw the David’s Pizza commercial on the youtubes, I thought it would be worth it to make the (over 1 hr) drive over to David’s Pizza to get some of that pizza. I strategically coerced my girlfriend into coming a long with me on this pizza trip. Unfortunately, the pizza here was no where near as cheesy as the commercial that originally enticed me to try it. I’d probably come here again if I get a serious craving for dough, since the pizza was like… mostly dough. The waitress was super nice though.
