Dang! Takes forEVER to get waited on and then waiting for the bill is brutal. Food is good once you get it.

It is sad that they closed this place down after they only had it opened for about 6 – 7 years. I love the workers that bartend. They were awesome and always engaged all sorts of conversation. I will really miss this place if I ever come down for a visit, but good news is that Sacramento still has theres.

Hah! OMG! Too funny. Unilocal removed my negative review of this over three years ago! I was wondering how on earth this place could stay in business. Horrible food and worse than horrible service. Manager was really bad… hitting on your employees in front of customers is a real turn off. What a buffoon.

Love eating here. It is no longer in Stockton. But I will go to another just to for their macao shrimp soup and grilled salmon. Love that!

I would have rated Elephant Bar a 3 stars but every time we’ve gone we sat at the bar, or bar area and Brandon was a great bartender. He joked around, offered suggestions and made our time a little more memorable.
He also serves up a killer bloody mary. The food is good and the atmosphere is fine but what made it was the bartenders. They even remembered me after my trip where I was dared to eat a spoon full of wasabi– and did it like a champ (do not eat a spoon full of wasabi– it hurts!!)
If you’re looking for a fun place to go out with friends and throw back a few drinks go to elephant and sit at the bar.

Understand this Elephant Bar is closing in less than a week. How sad. I have enjoyed this establishment with its management team, staff, and varied menus. It has been a great place to gather for business and for pleasure. Loved sitting in bar area and dining while watching my favorite sports teams on the screens. Too bad, EBar will be sorely missed.

Two things… Food was great, service STINKED! I truely thought for a second I was on one of those prank restaurant shows where u get a totally crappy waiter. Everything we would request him to get us, he would forget, and then go back to get it and be about ten minute wait. It had gotten so bad in the end of our dinner my husband has gotten a chance to ask the waiter how long he had been working there, waiter replying 8 months. Realy ??? He had to have been on something to be that bad then! Total bummer. Cause my family was in town from Wisconsin, and it was my first time there as well. Beware of bad waiters! Ask for a new. One!

It took us four times visiting this E Bar in order to have good service. The server Shannon is the best one we have had by leaps and bounds. Still not impressed with the manager, but whatever, the server did a good job at checking on us and ensuring we had things in a timely manner. Would not risk returning if she was not there, that is for sure!

One word to describe my evening at Elephant bar, HORRIBLE!
My evening started out fine. Waitress came, asked if we wanted some drinks, we replied «yes water please». We never even received our water nor were we asked after. The part though that makes me give this place such a low rating is an incident which occurred during our dining.
An elderly lady fell to the floor and was hurt. Elephant Bar EMPLOYEES just looked on, giving this lady no help what so ever. I immediately rushed to her aid to check on her overall health. As I helped her up along with other fellow costumers, it made me angry and disgusted to see the Employees (waitresses and waiters, 4 to be exact) just looking. They didn’t even bother To ask her if she was ok, but just turned the other way around.
Tisk tisk Elephant Bar! I see what kind of employees you hire. Thumbs down!

Im personally not a fan of the Elephant Bar, I can’t exactly pin point it. Ive never had a great experience at the few I have been to. I don’t know if its the location or what. I’ll go again in the future and update my review.

Happy hour is so great here! There’s good food selection and the drinks are on point too!
Note: Go to the bar and ask for Brandon. He’s a great bartender with an even greater personality. Super funny and helpful! Out of all the e-​bars I’ve been too, I prefer this one because of Brandon’s excellent customer service.

Our server Tara was the best. My Mom’s steak was a little on the too well done side. She told our server about it, she did not even question it. She said I’ll bring another out right away. The manager on duty came over and asked my mom if he could bring her a salad or something else while she waited. My mom said no thank you. They were both wonderful. After her steak was brought out he came and checked to make sure she was satisfied with it as did our server. This place is wonderful. Fantastic customer service!

I have to offer a 5! I know it’s a chain and not highfalutin, but I think you get a great balance here. Outstanding service, really good food, fair price, centrally located, easy parking and clean.
9 times out of 10 you can find me with a plate of raw ahi. I love it and I’m never disappointed. Simple, clean, fresh and tasty.
We typically go during Happy Hour, sit in the bar area. Once in awhile I’ll try something different since it’s $ 1 or $ 3 off.
Edamame, regular, warm — a MUST for us to start.
Tempura Salmon Roll Warm, I tried it without tempura cold, good.
Wok Fired Chicken Lettuce Wraps are YUM, nutty sweet hint of spice fresh.
Mac&Cheese my daughter said was delicious & rich.
Coconut Shrimp Skewers, crunchy outside warm and firm shrimp center. I’m sure it was as is should be, I’m just not a deep-​fried person. I ate the shrimp out of them :)
Korean Beef Tacos were super tasty.

Chicken 5 Spice was very good, not heat spicy (thumbs up).
Orange Chicken my son thought was ok.
Mongolian Beef Dinner, son said it was super good and has a bit of heat.
Teriyaki Chicken, EVERYBODY loves this.
The staff is incredible!!! We’ve become accustom to Brandon’s service (excellent).
Now when it’s super busy they simply cannot be as attentive, but it’s obvious they’re working hard. I do think customers need to review this accordingly. I have yet to have a problem with service. We’ve been here many times and will continue to be. They’re very polite and aim to please!!! BRAVO ELEPHANT BAR!

I don’t know what happened here. I ordered my steak sandwich w/​caesar salad and everything tasted blah. I always order this in the bay area, and I never have to add anything to it – no salt, pepper or steak sauce. The best thing I ordered was the jungle colada, it could have had a little bit more rum in it.
The staff is over friendly, but for me it is a good sign. The place was clean and had plenty customers. The food lacked flavor.

Saturday night 8:45 at bar area. one server only. i sat down and waiting … we understand. one person in the area. i think i can wait few minutes. after 10 min. finally the server came over. it was 8:55pm. happy hour starts 9:00 pm. so just 5 min away! bit he said that it was going to be another 15min for happy our start. i was like. is only five to nine??? he says the computer is slow! haha…9:15 and got finally my drink!!! i dont know what the manager are thinking about this bussines… i been in restaurant bussiness for years. and this is just dissaponting… i wont be back!!! Brandon was doing ok… just is obvious, that working by yourself in a big area at happy hour just gonna make your costummers impatient and really slow service… i wont give another try to this place… you are hungry and want service goTry other places!!!

Worse service ever at Elephant bar. Hostess was nice, 15 minute wait, empty tables everywhere. Was seated and and told our server would be right with us.
She brought ONE set of utensils with a single napkin, they were building more our blond server stated. Finally took our orders, and rudely asked if that was all we wanted.
Food brought out, asked for napkins and they never came. She brought our check and never asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert.
$ 1 tip left, as we left, she glared back at us as we exited the front door. Tip is what you earn, you placed order and brought check. Never gave service and was not friendly.

Brought my mom here for her 63^rd birthday and sat in the bar area. The bartender was very nice, although the drinks were okay. We ordered some cocktails with our side dish and thought that everything could’ve been better and stronger. Our fried string beans were a bit burnt, but eatable. Overall, we had a nice time.

Plenty of menu items to choose from. Every now and then, there’s something new to try, just like the 5-​Spice Shrimp & Chicken I had today.

Update review for Happy Hour only!
This place has pretty damn good drink options for their Happy Hour! From $ 3-​$ 5 you have the options of a Mojito, Mai Tai, Sangria Blanco, Margarita, and much more. Their drinks are well made and they have some pretty cheap food options. Will definitely be coming here more often to get my mid-​evening buzz on. They also have non-​alcoholic happy hour options too.
Nice staff and fast service. Usually pretty empty so you can sit up by the bar!
