I love Hana Sushi. My husband and I went there for the first time a few years ago for our anniversary dinner. We loved it! The food was great and so was the service. We have been going back ever since. My favorite rolls are the dragon roll and cherry blossom roll. I definitely recommend this place to all sushi lovers.

Simple things can be good and perfect. This is one of them. I extremely recommend coming here, you will be very happy and will return again. I guarantee it.

Great setting/ambiance. Promptly seated/attentive server. I recently found out I have celiac disease and they were very helpful/understanding of my specific order. Will definitely be back! Hawaii and rainbow roll(sub chopped tuna for imitation crab) were both amazing!

I’ve been here too many times to count and it is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Stockton. It is DEFINITELY my favorite place to get sushi. My favorite roll is the Crispy Roll. The miso is always perfect, the salad is the best salad I’ve ever had, and the entrees are phenomenal. The udon is always cooked to a perfect softness and the broth for the udon is always extremely tasty. Even the tea is wonderful. I will never stop loving Hana! :)

I have always tried something new and it’s always good… My favorite roll is «sake lover» The only down fall to this place is that they are slower on the service and it’s always really warm in here… I have tried at least 6 different rolls and has always been happy.

Poor customer, crappy rolls and a very small menu. I do have to say the ramen noodle soup was great but everything else was horrible.

It’s been a while since I’ve had sushi in Stockton and this place definitely exceeded my expectations. The space is a lot bigger than I expected upon entering and the décor was nice. I sat at a booth with pillows which was a nice accent. The food was pretty tasty too. My brother and I ordered the Spider, Lion king, and Ninja rolls. The spider roll was okay – nothing really special about it. But the lion king and ninja told were delicious. The lion king is a baked roll and I especially liked how tender and juicy it came out to be. The presentation was nice as well. Overall, our service was decent. I definitely recommend this place to others looking for a low key, nice place to have good sushi.

The sushi was ok, not the best. love the calm atmosphere. Writing this review due to the two young girls working as a waitress on an evening shift, not once was my boyfriend & I checked on to see if everything was ok, or if I needed a refill on water & him on soda. No tip was left & girls were just talking behind the register majority of time. Will NOT be going back. Rather keep going to Misakis. Faster pace n more friendly.

I had the sesame chicken bento combination dinner $ 16.95. overpriced! Service was ok. The waitresses need to be a little more friendly. Their bowls of miso soup could be filled up a lil more. I’m probably not gonna come back after this visit.

Love this pace, volcano roll is my favorite! Love the house salad, and miso soup! Always a great experience! The service has been slow before, but the three or four times we’ve been they have been s

Had the SPIDERROLL, LIONKINGROLL, and VOLCANOROLL. Spider roll was disappointing. I was hoping for some larger rolls with soft-shelled crab on top. Lion King Roll was alright. Volcano Roll has sriracha sauce on it, so don’t order it if you don’t like the sauce. The interior is cute. Maybe I just ordered the wrong rolls.

This used to be my go to place for sushi in Stockton but the service has declined and the food has been taking a long time to be made. I also found a cockroach today at the restaurant. I definitely will not return.

One of my favorite places to get sushi. The decore of the restaurant is very lovely. It’s obvious the owners spent time and effort into the feng shui. Lunch bento is great, comes with rice, salad and your choice of two items(my usual CA roll & tempura). The soba and ramen here is very tasty. If you like spicy rolls be sure to try the Voodoo roll or one of their specialty rolls listed at the sushi bar. Service is always friendly and happy. Great place to come.

The voodoo roll ain’t no joke. It really is that spicy. Guess I should have known since our server asked«are you sure?» when i ordered it. It was good though. The spicy pork wasn’t spicy at all. Good and cooked really well and seasoned but it was not spicy, as the name implied. The ramen was nice. Loved the taste of the broth. If i had some Thai chillies, it would have been amazing! The yaki tori was meh. I mean, for the price, it’s not worth getting. Great service too! Maybe because it was early dinner and the place was still kind of empty.

The bento boxes here are tasty but make sure you have plenty of time as sometimes the wait is long.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! It’s in a plaza off of March Lane that never seems to be really crowded, so I didn’t really think much of this sushi restaurant and never got around to checking it out after living in Stockton for a few years. I am glad that I tried it out because it was quite an enjoyable dinner! I went with my friend a few weeks ago, and she had suggested it because she had been to Hana Sushi before. The décor inside was very nice and had many different Japanese paintings and whatnot on the wall. The décor and the way the restaurant was set up was much more impressive than I had expected, and was nicely set up as well. It was a bit dim inside, but it didn’t bother me too much. Service was great. The waitresses were very nice and friendly! Food was delicious. My friend and I got the gyoza and edamame for appetizers and both were absolutely delectable. I ended up getting the deep fried California roll smothered with the spicy mayo sace and another sauce(I wasn’t sure what it was exactly), but that was definitely one of the best rolls I’ve ever had! For dessert, I got a scoop of green tea ice cream, and my friend got chocolate mochi. Overall I really enjoyed dining at Hana Sushi, and if I hadn’t graduated from UOP, I would definitely return in the future! 4 stars.
