Kurt Skinner, OD

Went in for my annual check up yesterday and Doc Skinner was all smiles and happy to see me. I know he works long hours but it never changes his enthusiasm for his patients and his craft. To be perfectly honest, I really needed a good fitting on a pair of glasses I’d had for over a year and had adjusted several times. Well, Dr. Skinner doesn’t think any task is «above» him. He worked on my glasses until they were absolutely right! That’s what I love about him, I never leave feeling like I got the bums rush or that I didn’t get all my questions answered or that I didn’t get exactly what I needed.
I’ve been contact lens shy since I hit my 4^th decade (won’t say which one I’m in now though!) and I’ve had a hard time adjusting to any type of vision combination in a contact. Dr. Skinner has never given up on introducing me to new lenses as they come out and yesterday; he hit on some non-​glasses vision magic! I haven’t worn them in a good 15 years and I’m ready to order 6 pair. It’s very exciting… those of you who know bifocal hell can relate!
I would never hesitate recommending Dr. Skinner. He is tireless in getting it right!

Dr. Skinner is a very kind person. Listens intently to his patients. I’ve been a patient of his for a few years now and am very pleased.
