Do not shop here. I went to rent a flute. The guy with the ponytail is a tool. He practically accused me of not making my payments on time and said that he would come to the school to take the flute from my daughter. What a jackass. Go here if you want bad service. Lesson learned.

I can’t believe after all the Unilocaling I’ve done that I’ve never reviewed Mr C’s Music. I’ve known Ron C since the early 70’s. Played in a band with him. He’s one of the good guys; friendly, kind and when it comes to sheet music and instruments, he really knows his stuff. So, if you want to be treated well and have 2 very knowledgeable guys in their field at your disposal, Mr. C’s is the place to go. I remember back when I was dating a Blue Grass musician(I know I know, Mom said never date a musician) I really really needed a guitar(so I could jam with him and his crew) and didn’t have the cash, but I had a saxophone I wasn’t using. We worked out a great trade, we were both satisfied and it was a total win-win deal!

i think i’ll be here a lot now that i discovered it just around the corner from my house. my first trip there and i found exactly what i was looking for(some schumann sheets) and even more! but being the poor student i am couldn’t buy it all… not even the HARMONICA i’ve been looking for that was INSTOCK, shining and calling my name from the glass case. they also have pianos, guitars, bass(what is the plural for bass?), drums… didn’t pay much attention to that side of the store. the guy behind the counter at the time was friendly; he didn’t mind when i took some sheet music over to a piano to see if it was the right song but he did warn me that the owner was coming in soon and didn’t like people doing that… hence the negative 2 stars: what’s the problem, mr. c?

When not Unilocaling, working, procrastinating something… whatever, I… silence please… play the piano. In the very back room of my house, I will belt out some of my favorite pieces by Chopin, Beethoven or Mozart. Really does a number on my nerves… pardon the pun. Hard to believe, I know… but I have a few talents besides buying shoes and cussing. I’ve had songs stuck in my head in the last couple of years and have walked into this store and hummed the songs to the owner. What’s his name? Jeff? I feel bad. Because I know the couple of times a year that I walk in, he probably has his index finger on the panic button under the counter… not that I know that he has one. If he doesn’t have what I’m looking for, he orders it. He has instruments for sale and rent. The sheet music and book selection is huge.
