Hands down BEST sisig I have ever had!!! I’ve also tried their bbq sticks which are great and their pusit which was also very good. But I can’t get over how good the sisig is! I actually crave it! Word of advice — go early as they sell out very quick and call ahead if you want more than a normal size portion as they will make it fresh for you!

Had a variety of dishes with my family. The food was good, as what is expected from Filipino food. The people inside were extremely friendly and the service was great. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because our food was cold, but I mean I guess that’s what is to be expected when it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Otherwise, I would definitely come again if I am in the area hungry for filipino food.

This place is my new found gem when it comes to my Filipino food craving, I used to passed by this place all the time but their name scares me, I told myself why will a doughnut place sell Filipino food so I never dare myself to try their food. Couple of months ago I am so hungry and my co-workers want to get subway which is next door and I don’t feel like eating a sandwich so I finally decided to try them and to my surprise they have several Filipino food to choose from that made me feel like I’m in heaven. I ordered several things such as lechon Kawali(deep fried pork), 2 item entrée(includes adobe and Kare-kare) everything taste really good and their service is wonderful and I felt like I know them forever. Food taste was good, price are cheap and had a great customer service I higly recommend them.

Who would have guessed that a Doughnut Shop would have such tasty Filipino food! Chicken Adobo is out of this world delicious, their pork stew … awesome! and if you want their pancit, you have to get there in the morning before lunch. Well worth the stop if you’re in the area looking to try something different! This is my second visit to this little newly discovered gem for my Filipino fix. It beats out ‘Best Lumpia’, which I use to think was good. The service alone makes it worth the time to walk in through the door. Maybe I’ll try a doughnut next. I really want to give this review 4 ½ stars … I should give it 5 … but, that is a stretch.

Chicken adobo is yummy! Didn’t really care for the pancit too much. I ordered a 2 entrée plate to go(around $ 6) got chicken adobo, pancit & rice. The nice lady packed the plate so full, she had to try & tape the lid down(didn’t really help, but I wasn’t complaining) =) It seemed like I ate forever & I barely put a dent in the pile of food. But that was breakfast & lunch the next day lol

Good food, good people. Can’t ask for more. You literally get treated like family here and are able to sit and enjoy your food without being rushed. They also do large orders for platters. Their Sisig is the best I have EVER tasted!

I support the local Pilipino businesses, especially this one. This place is a diamond in a rough, since it’s not in a great part of town(Near Kelly dr.) and the name of this place is very misleading… However this very place was featured on The Filipino channel’s «Adobo Nation» for their food! The Filipino food is awesome! You do not see many selections of Filipino food when you first step into this hole in the wall, but my family comes here for their catering! The food was a hit for everyone during my daughter’s 1st bday party! Ever since then(my daughter is 4 y.o. now) we use them for all of our parties! We love their authentic dishes, dessert trays and BBQ sticks! They are very generous in their servings also! Very good service and warm hospitality, as if you were being served by your Tito & Tita =D

I’ve been here a few times to have a little bit of everything: doughnuts(good), Filipino food, and Filipino ice cream(good, they have the best brand). I’d have to say their minudo, bbq pork, pancit, and pork sinigang are super yummy! The owners are very nice and friendly. I’ve never been disappointed by their service. I’ve been coming here since it opened and I’ll be returning for as long as they’re open.

I’ve actually never tried the donuts here. The shop is half donuts, half Filipino food! I went for the latter. It was really authentic and homemade, but it seemed like the food had been sitting out for awhile and wasn’t well-heated. They probably cooked it that day, but not soon before I had walked in. I got the chicken adobo and it seemed a bit cold. I also got a halo halo and that was pretty good. You can get it with ice cream on top and I got ube with mine. The service is good. It’s a family-owned shop and I was helped by a woman and her son. They’re very friendly and helpful! The shop itself is a little run down and kind of a hole in the wall. It’s very casual and your food is served to you in paper plates/plastic utensils. It’s nice if you just want a quick bite to eat with food already made so you don’t have to wait!

This is a good spot for quick Filipino grub. I think they have the best Adobo in town and their lumpia, pancit, and pork BBQ will fit the bill when you have a craving. Prices are cheap, but the service can be a bit slow as they tend to take their time and gossip with other patrons. This is not a bad thing as they are always friendly, but you might be standing there for a minute or two before they get to your order. The combo plates are HUGE, so you will have leftovers for sure.

I’m home when I come here. The owners have that traditional Filipino hospitality that would warm anyones heart. The doughnuts are great and they always have my favorite(lemon filled) which is SO hard to find. The filipino food is always the best. And if you’re still hungry after having doughnuts and pancit, they have ice cream too! Yay! Hey, Rainbo Doughnuts! You ain’t going nowhere!

The first couple of times the gf and I came here, it was around 5pm. There were a few donuts and a limited selection of ice cream by the scoop, but very little Filipino food — perhaps some pancit and maybe some pork adobo. We’d usually leave without anything. Finally, we wised up and went in at 10:30am on a Sunday. Oh yeah! The selection was magnificent: sisig, kaldereta, adobo, pancit, pusit, dinuguan, menudo, afritada, mongo, and pinakbet. We chose kaldereta, sisig, pancit, and pusit(I love those little squid!). Mmmmmmm. Came home and chowed down. The gf was disappointed by the sisig: Rainbow’s version was pork fried with cilantro and onion, which apparently was not what the gf knew as sisig from her childhood in Manila. Since I had no childhood memories as a frame of reference, I thought it was pretty damn good! Everything we ate ranged from really good to very good(at least to me, and the gf agreed, grudgingly including even the sisig in this evaluation). So friends, arrive early especially on Sundays(before the Filipinos get out of church and take all the good stuff!), and you’ll find wonderful food here at Rainbow Doughnuts!

«Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. Wouldn’t you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came. « I hear the«Cheers» theme song play lightly in my head every time I walk in here. The proprietors Rolando and Carla always go out of their way to make clients feel at home – and it can sometimes get boisterous when there are regulars about! The environment is, oh, 70s soda shop: open and airy and very light. It’s a great place to hang out and have a good cup of joe. The doughnuts are pretty good, the coffee is solid, and they make great halo-halos!
