My girlfriend had a horrible emergency and the owner, the black haired guy with the glasses told me she couldnt use the bathroom because she was going to «slip on the ground and it was going to be a lawsuit». Absolutely dispicible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone, i caught the owner spitting on my doughnuts and rubbing it in. This is absolutely ridiculous, I would not reccomend anyone to this garbage of an establishment. Go to krispy kreme if you want doughnuts and jack in the box if you want a shake. Fuck this place and the owner, im disguisted.

I do not get what the hype is all about with this place. Hmmm I am still scratching my head. I was visiting my brother in Lodi and we found this place on Unilocal. The reviews were good so we thought we better give it a shot. Yuck! What are you people thinking? Never again!!!

This place is great for those late night munchies, but it loses one star for the lack of seating and the long lines. The lines here are definitely long no matter what time it is, but the smell of oily food just gets ya, especially if you’re hungry late at night. My personal favorite thing to eat there is the chicken sandwich and Burnie fries! The chicken was very hot and crispy along with the fries :) two thumbs up for the food! The root beer float is possibly one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. SOGOOOOODDD! Oh, and the parking is abundant but keep in mind it’s extremely dark and kind of sketchy so make sure you don’t wander around in this area and park close.

Late night munchies/study fuel. That’s the reason why people come here. It opens only at night and the food is decent. Don’t be fooled by the sign saying Marilou’s Kitchen. During the day, the location is Marilou’s Kitchen and at night it turns into Midnight at Burnies. There are many baked goods such as Bear’s Claw and donuts. The real gem is their breakfast fries. It is their crinkle-cut fries topped with gravy, bacon, and a fried egg. Poke the yolk and then it will flow onto the whole shabang. Everything in that combination works and it tastes even better in the middle of night when you’re hungry. My gf got the sliders and she said she really enjoyed those as well. They are pretty small so make sure you get the full order. When you make one of the burgers into a meal, it essentially is only adding the crinkle-cut fries. There is a fee to use credit so bring cash!

«Marilou’s Kitchen» by day and«Midnight at Burnies» by night — this was a decent late night place for some greasy grub. I came around 12:30am with some friends and ordered the Breakfast Fries(topped with country gravy, bacon, over easy egg, and cheese) and Slider Combo(4 sliders of ground beef & signature sauce sandwiched between Hawaiian sweet rolls with a side of fries) to-go. Upon first impression, the restaurant wasn’t super clean or nicely decorated, but it’s a late night spot in Stockton, so I didn’t expect much to begin with. Service was nothing special; it took about 15 minutes for our food to come out. The Sliders were a nice surprise and tasted way better than expected. The meat was flavorful, and the signature sauce — which is really just Thousand Island dressing — added a nice creaminess. However, the side of fries were very underwhelming and underseasoned. The Breakfast Fries were pretty good, but not«out of this world» tasty. I also tried a bite of my friend’s apple fritter /bear claw donut, which tasted pretty old and was comparable to any other donut I’ve had. Overall, Burnies was just whatever. It was a nice change from my typical El Forastero or In-n-out late night food runs, but I’m not dying to go back. I recommend bringing cash, since they charge 30 cents for any debit or credit card transactions.

Attention Stockton! Keep eating here! Don’t let this place disappear like I know so many other great locally owned places have. This secret late night burger pop-up inside a donut shop houses what is likely the absolute best burgers in town. The perfectly soft buns, a delight of wonderful burger topping options, and an amazing variety of shakes, all at decent prices. I’ve tried the classic and the breakfast burger… both a joy, as was the Fruity Pebbles shake. Why would anyone ever bother with generic drive thru burgers when places like this are around?

Bernie’s fries got me craving for more. Is so good. My husband got a classic Bernie burger and liked it a lot. Definitely will be coming back to try the specialty milkshakes too.

Best burger restaurant in town. I went here every weekend for like two months bruh. Don’t sleep on the breakfast chicken sandwich. It’s kind of one of those items you see but never consider but you should def consider it. 9.281÷10

Obviously not the best location. Business hours are also kind of odd. But the food and menu options are phenomenal. Definitely a mixed crowd of people. I usually like to get my food and go.

The fried chicken breakfast loaded sandwich is literally AMAZING! Best day to go is on Thursday because there is a line down the block to order your delicious food. It is worth the wait! The fruitie pebbles shake is fantastic, gotta try it!

First timer. Reasonable pricing and decent portions Fruit Pebble Milkshake: It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. It tasted more like milk and cereal rather than a Fruity Pebbles shake if that makes any sense XD Sliders: For some reason I thought there would be 4 separate mini patties, but it was just one big patty smashed in the middle of 4 Hawaiian rolls. The beef was juicy, but it was really salty. It wasn’t anything spectacular. Still would choose in n out over this. Fries: They were standard crinkle fries you’d find at the frozen section of the super market. Very under seasoned. Would’ve rather the excess salt be on my fries than in my sliders. «Special» sauce: Thousand Island dressing without the chunks Tried it because of the hype. Won’t be coming back because of the food. Didn’t finish my meal since it wasn’t worth the cals XD

After seeing tantalizing pictures online and through other friends’ recommendations we had to check this place out. Ordered the Cowboy burger, the Burnies burger and the cheesy garlic fries topped with a fried egg. The burgers were delicious, juicy without being super messy, and really flavorful! Try as I might, I was only able to finish half of my burger, that’s how big it was. The fries were aaigghhtt lol they needed to be in the fryer a bit longer… maybe next time I will ask for them to be extra well done like I do at In n Out. I really liked having the option of adding the fried egg, that always adds an extra oomph to almost any dish Was looking for the Fruity Pebbles topped donuts but they didn’t have any in the case. I guess that’s best considering all of the calories consumed with the fries and burger lol definitely a cheat meal! You have munchies and don’t feel like cooking? Come here for a meal with that home cooked feel :) oh and btw the customer service/cashier was great and personable and we enjoyed the music, there’s a variety of board games available, and the vibe was cool, even though we were in a hoody area lol check them out and support local business!

Had the BF Chicken Sandwich last night and it was good. Fried chicken, bacon, egg, hashbrown, and gravy! I would order it again but won’t rush. My knock this time is I got the Breakfast fries as well and substituted bacon with a burger patty. The patty was definitely left on the grill too long. Really charred and not edible. Could have been saved with just the egg and gravy but there wasn’t a whole lot on the fries. I probably won’t substitute next time. I think I’ll leave this spot at 3 stars. Too much inconsistency when I come here, but they do have potential.

Midnight at Burnies is one of my favorite spots in Stockton right now. Working for the hockey team there are not a lot of choices for great food after we pack up and look for a late night meal. Our choices used to boil down to BJs, Buffalo Wild Wings, In-N-Out or fast food but Midnight at Burnies has given us a great new choice! The burgers here are great! You can go simple or choose from some of their more adventurous options, they also have chicken sandwiches that are awesome! Everything is fresh so they do tend to run out of items as closing time creeps closer. We’ve been here at 2:30am before, crossing our fingers that our favorites would still be around. Make sure you follow them on Instagram and check out the menu as soon as you get there, they’ve added new items and always have great specials. They also serve Tacos on certain days and if you’re lucky you’ll arrive right when they pull out fresh donuts. My favorites here are the fruity pebbles shake(The shakes are AWESOME) and the cowboy burger. The staff is always friendly and if you go for the combo you’ll get some great crinkle cut fries and a drink from their cooler! If they’re open you should get in your car and go right now! You won’t be disappointed!

Found out about this place on the @stocktonca Instagram page and they gave rave reviews. I decided to check it out in person because they just announced a new menu item — tacos. Being from Southern California(San Diego), I always compare quality. The tacos suck. You’re better off ordering something else or not coming here at all. It feels dirty, the Filipino lady cashier doesn’t know how to give correct change. Has to use a calculator. I ordered 2 tacos($ 1.50 ea) and total was $ 3.20. I gave $ 4 and she gave me back 8 cents. I told her I’m owed 80 cents and she had to use a calculator again. This is basic math so that annoyed me. They apparently used the same«seasoned beef» in their fries but the beef sucks. The tacos come sloppy. Half the meat was hanging out its warped shell. I had to «fix» it in order to take a half decent pic for Unilocal. The messy red sauce they throw all over it is just Sriracha. You can get better tasting beef at Taco Bell and that’s saying a lot. Though you’re really better off getting tacos across the way at Adalbertos or any other taco truck in Stockton. Don’t waste your time here like I did.

We decided to come here tonight for a late night indulgence. and we were not disappointed! I’ve noticed this place being talked about for quite a few months on social media, and I wanted to see what the hype was about. They are where Marilou’s Kitchen is, same building, but diner style late at night. It’s run by young, friendly people who play hip-hop Pandora stations and will invite guests to play DJ at times. As far as organization goes, it still appears to be «underway» as most of Marilou’s things are piled to the side of the room while Burnie’s is still trying to make their presence known. The service is fast and friendly, and you can tell they aim to please. As for the food, we ordered a Cowboy burger and half an order of Burnie’s fries to share, and Oreo and Cinnamon Toast Crunch shakes. The Cowboy burger– WOW. super good. with thick-cut applewood bacon and melted cheese and mushrooms. super fresh and worth ordering! Burnie’s fries– very tasty, I like whatever they seasoned their fries with prior to adding the cheese and meat. It may have just been garlic salt, but it made them highly flavorful without being too salty. Also, the fries were crinkle cut and crispy, and crispy is important to me. Also worth ordering! My boyfriend said the Oreo shake was just good, not great. I thought the CTC shake was the bomb. Not at all too sweet and tasted like the cereal with added cinnamon and whipped cream. yum! I wanted the apple fritter shake, initially, but they ran out. which tells me it’s a popular flavor and I’ll need to come back another time to try that!
