Do not come to this store if you need employee’s assistance, because employees here are very unprofessional and having lack of knowledge, giving you false info that causes you to lose time and effort… TOTALLY BS!!!

I drove 40 miles to get a pair of boots here. It’s was 3:46 pm on a Saturday and they supposedly close at 530 pm. As I walked up to the store an employee unlocked the door to let a customer out and tried to close the door in my face saying they were closed. I told him how far I had driven and they said sorry they were closing early. I told him I would never be back!

I was talking to one of their managers, Rob, about some horrible knee pain I was having. I had hurt my knee during a hike and the pain had been lingering for a couple months. I couldn’t run or walk for long periods of time.
Rob fitted my foot and recommended a pair of insoles to put inside my running shoes to cushion my arch. I bought a pair and did exactly that and my knee pain has NEVER come back! I never would not have thought something as simple as an insole could cure my knee pain, but their staff is so knowledgeable that they were able to identify the problem as stemming from improper arch support.

These are the nicest sales people I’ve ever encountered. Very knowledgable about the product they sell.
I’ve been a faithful Red Wing boot person for over 30 years. I’ve only shopped at this store because the location is close to home.
I buy the same style of boots every time so I can only speak about the Classic Chukka #3140. Lightweight and very comfortable.
Some shoes can get a little pricey, but look what you get, a quality shoe that will last you years.
Best work boots and costumer service you will find!

I wish everyone would stop being in shock that their boots are expensive. You have obviously never owned a pair. I’ve owned some work boots from them but I no longer need tough boots anymore. I am more of a fan of their heritage collection which this store carried just one model at the time which is a shame. They only had the iron rangers in one color but no moc toe, beckman, or blacksmith. I agree that their service is top notch but I don’t agree with their sizing recommendations. They always offer to size you and every time they tell me I am a different size than what I normally wear. They always offer me 2 sizes up from what I wear even though every time I buy boots they are one size smaller than my regular shoe size. They tell me it is because they are trying to line the arch in my foot with the appropriate arch of the higher shoe size. If I took their opinion I would look like clown feet and would of wasted $ 300.

This was THE very worst shoe store I’ve ever been to! The boots were very expensive, but the owner assured me that each pair of their boots and shoes came with a one year warranty. So I had the owner himself size my feet, to make sure I got the right size. I bought two pairs of their boots. I wore the boots only around the house on the carpeting, to made sure they fit right. One pair fit way too small, and couldn’t ware them without pain. And the other pair was defective, and the soles split in half just wearing them on my carpet. Meanwhile, my parents purchased a pair of boots for me as a gift, but didn’t know my size and bought me a pair 3 sizes too small, so I couldn’t even get them on my feet. So I promptly returned the two pairs that I bought, but the owner was very rude, refused to exchange or refund me for either pair of boots, not even the defective pair where the sole split open while trying them on on my carpet! Soon thereafter I also tried to exchange the pair of boots my parents purchased for me. But he fused to return those too!!! So much for their one year warranty!!! I called their corporate office to work out an exchange, but their corp. was just as aweful!!! It will be a cold day in hell before I ever again buy any boots or shoes from this or any Red Wing Boot store!!!

My husband bought shoes here and they were pricey. With a guarantee for a year and free shoe laces for life it is worth it. They will restitch your shoes if they have any problems and have every size under the sun.

I decided to try out the Red Wing store in my quest for some work boots. Number one thing I noticed when I walked in is they have a nice selection of styles and the staff was very knowledgeable. Then we got down to what I needed in a work boot, let me tell you WOW expensive! The line of work I am in the boots wouldn’t last but maybe six months at the most, so I couldn’t justify 300 bucks for a pair of boots that would last only six months. Decided not to buy boots here but I wanted to rate the service I received and the selection they have. Just beware the sticker shock can be a bit much!
