Five stars for a local mom-​and-​pop ice cream shop. This is store #2 located in the Harbor Freight shopping center on Waterloo Rd. it fronts the street and is in front of Soccer City (see photo). Store #1 is on West Alpine Ave.
I had been to the original store on Alpine several times in the last few years and I really enjoyed the ice cream. The tradition is upheld at store #2 that’s been open almost one year.
The ice cream is all handmade, 100% natural, with real flavoring from natural fruit. The ice cream maker has been plying his trade for 40 years… originally in Mexico. Very very unique flavors. If you’ve never been before you will probably want to taste at least a half-​dozen flavors. And the employees will be very accommodating explaining the ingredients. It’s amazing the different fruits they have in Mexico than we have up here. And to think they make ice cream from them. The flavors taste so true to the ingredients that you almost think you’re eating something really healthy! ;)
If the kiddies are not up to trying rose petal ice cream they have a few «normal» flavors that will appease them.
This place puts Baskin-​Robbins to shame for quality, value and selection. I would suggest that you try it soon!

WRONG ADDRESS ON Unilocal! It’s on Waterloo in the same plaza as Pizza Guys. So delicious! Just like the alpine location. Tostilocos are still delicious anywhere you place them! Yum! Everything is so good. They have GANSITO ice cream. Bring your mother. She will die for some of that ice cream. Trust. How many of us had our family put their Gansitos in the freezer.

Been here twice so far and will be back, very friendly. prices are decent and everything i tried has been good. the mangos con chile was really good… definitley coming. back again soon

Out of all the ice cream places I’ve been to, this place has the best paleta de nuez! The nuez is actually chopped into tiny pieces & its just so delicious. I want one now, & my uncle loves their bionicos! :D
