Quite simply the most incredibly delicious baked goods you will ever taste, anywhere. Unusual but complimentary pairings of ingredients for absolutely wonderful pies, loafs, scones, quiches. Get there early and see what great ideas Jerry and Lauren have come up with for their morning bake. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped by early this morning. Truly appreciated the extra touch with the mini Key Lime Pie! Freshly made whipped cream and lime zest on top before ringing us up. We will definitely be back!

LOVE this place! Jerry and Lauren are truly talented pros! Their Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake are incredible! I never even LIKED carrot cake before The Painted Pie, but am now a fan! Their zucchini bread is delicious too. And then… there are the CHOCOLATECHIPCOOKIES! SO insanely delicious! I ordered a Carrot Cake for my husband’s birthday, as well as three dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies. Jerry arranged the cookies SO beautifully on a tray for presentation, and then topped them with sifted powdered sugar, a really nice touch, it felt, and looked, very special. My husband’s birthday cake was so beautifully decorated. They really put their hearts and souls into what they do! Thank you Jerry and Lauren!

Everything here is amazing. The quiche are very creative and the best I’ve ever had. They had several gluten free options which don’t taste like your average gluten free dessert. This place could rival any bakery in Philly.

I have been meaning to write this for a while, sorry about the delay. But I cannot say enough good things about this place. They catered a get together for us at our house, and we were just blown away by the great food and incredible service. Lauren and Gerry were great to work with. This was a memorial service and many of our guests were delayed by Saturday afternoon shore traffic. Lauren stayed at the event the whole time and made sure that the food stayed fresh even with the delays. They set up the tables, and even brought flowers. I thought that their prices were extremely reasonable, and the food was great. I should have ordered more — it was all inhaled! Thankfully we managed to have a couple of macaroons left over for us. I will use them for all of my catering needs at the shore.

We ordered an amazing red velvet cake here for our intimate wedding reception(15 people) in Cape May last weekend. It was decorated in a sophisticated manner, very no-frills but elegant, and tasted amazing! The cake was moist and flavorful, and the cream cheese frosting was light and not overly sweet. We were very happy to have leftovers for breakfast. The only downside was my(now) husband had a hard time finding the place. We were visiting from NY, so we are not familiar with the whereabouts of local haunts.

Had a special event at our house catered by the PP and from the food to the service to the special touches they came through big time. We usually do everything ourselves but given the event and that my wife and I did not want to be struggling with food and dishes, etc., we decide to use a local caterer. It was the right decision and we chose the perfect business. I highly recommend the PP for your catering needs and if you just want some delicious baked goods stop by their shop. Great people, great place!

Delicious! I hired the Painted Pie to make cakes, pies and cookies for our wedding and to make quiches, sticky buns, scones and muffins for breakfast the next day. I hired them based on Unilocal reviews and one scone a friend had brought me(I do not live in New Jersey) and I am so glad I did. Everything was delicious AND beautiful. Jerry also takes pride in using great ingredients which I really appreciated. I originally asked for a peach pie in October but Jerry told me that he could not get peaches this year during October that he would be happy to put in a pie. I really appreciated his commitment to great ingredients and making sure he gave me the best cakes and pies possible! He also did a great job helping me estimate the amount of food we would need. His presentation was also beautiful. He made sure everything was nicely decorated and created a beautiful dessert table at our wedding. I cannot wait for my next trip to Stone Harbor. The Painted Pie will always be on my list of «must visit» stops.

Guy behind the counter seemed annoyed that I was bothering his daydreaming(or whatever it was he was doing). My kids actually commented on it when we left the store. Minimal selection — but he told me it was because they’d sold out of everything even though it was just after lunch time(during the week, not on a weekend). Finally decided on some key lime pie and I watched him use his bare(unwashed) fingers to maneuver it onto the pie server and then back out into the plastic to-go container. Ick. Never again, Painted Pie. I was really looking forward to it too. Ick!

Wow! I had been meaning to stop here for the past two years and finally did. Should have stopped in sooner because the pastries here are the bomb! I got the strawberry peach mini pie, raspberry scone and some macaroons. I don’t think I’ve had a more delicious pie, the peaches and strawberries tasted very fresh and juicy and the pie pastry was flaky and light. The scone was full of fresh raspberries and was also light and delicious. The macaroons were wonderfully sweet and full of fresh coconut. My family gave everything two thumbs up and wanted to know why I didn’t bring home more but I got the last of the pies and scones. The pastries sell out quickly here which is part of the reason that I hadn’t been here before but I will definitely be back here again.

Such a delightful little shop. Great, quality ingredients in each of their cookies(their chocolate chip, for example, blow other local shops’ cookies out of the water), pies, pastries. You can tell a lot of love and attentive care go into making each treat. We hope to keep this place around for a long time.

Great new addition to Stone Harbor which lacks in the bakery area. Wonderful Blueberry pie and quiche is to die for. Coffee is the best and the muffins are superb!

This business is new to Stone Harbor and is a much needed addition! The shop is located in the back of the stone harbor mall across from Seagars on 96th street. I’ve only had chocolate chip cookies, but they make many other desserts such as pies and cakes. This is a tasty and creative shop everyone should stop in while visiting Stone Harbor. Especially when you are tired of the many ice cream stores and want a new dessert option. It is also great to pick up treats to bring to a beach house BBQ. Enjoy: D
