Isabelle Aftrican Hair Braiding was is great experience!!! Isabelle is very professional and handles her customers with respect. She is on time for her appointments and communicates if she is running late. I recently got senegalese twist by stylist Florence. My hair is ABSOLUTELYBEAUTIFUL!!! First, Florence was my stylist and she was very professional, she showed me 3 braids before continuing with my style, she braids fast and neat. This was my first experience getting my hair braided and the sylist did not pull on my hair. My style looks really great and I was able to sleep comfortably the first night. Lastly, I have tried several hair braiding salons in Atlanta and this saln by far is the best!!! I live in Buford, GA and I will drive the 1 hour to Stone Mountain to get my hair styled at this salon. I definitely recoomend this salon for African Hair Braiding. They are professional and you will leave feeling statisfied with you new braids. I have received so many compliments within two days!!!

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE whatever you do, DONOT go to this braiding shop!!! They have the worst technique ever!!! I’ve been getting my hair braided for years and never have I had such a bad experience! The braids in the back of head were coming out within 1 day!!! Prior to me coming to the salon I was told I would be very satisfied. I came back to the salon after speaking with the«owner» about how displeased I was and in return she was very rude and disrespectful!!! This experience makes me not want to get my hair braided again. Please adhere to this comment because this place isn’t worthy of anyone’s time nor money!!!

Got my box braids done here and I was HIGHLY annoyed at the whole process. First off, I came into make an appointment the day before, Isabelle said that she could take me at 9a the following morning. I said great, but let’s make it for 10a. The reason I said this is because I didn’t honestly expect them to be there at 9a, and I HATE waiting. She agress that 10a is better. The next day I walk in for my 10a appointment at 9:45a. Isabelle isn’t there. Okay fine, I’m a few minutes early, so I wait… she still wasn’t there at 10:20, the other braider that was there said that she was on her way. She finally strolls in closer to 10:45. I’m already annoyed but stay because I really needed to get my hair done. Now she gets there and doesn’t start my hair, she actually switches places with the braider that was already there tending to someone else’s hair and that braider starts on my hair. Fine. After a few minutes the other braider goes back to helping Isabelle with the other lady whose hair is being braided(she was having micros installed). What am I doing you may ask? Waiting to be tended to… Isabelle then tells me she called her sister to come help. o0 Ugh… say what now? At this point a portion of the back of my hair is done now. As I think bank on it now I should’ve just paid my money and left. This was just after I did the big chop and I wasn’t feeling the TWA and was in a rush to get my hair done before I left town the following evening. Anyways… back to the issue at hand. The sister finally shows up and gets to work, but guess what? She apparently doesn’t know what to do and has to ask the other braider what I’m getting done, AND after the braider explains to her she gets started and after EVERY.SINGLE.BRAID she calls the woman over to make sure she’s doing it right. Really!!! Seriously???(In hindsight I really should’ve left) after the first 20 braids she seems confident enough to go it alone and then proceeds to work on my hair, then the other braider comes to help… then another lady pops in and helps for awhile. I am not so sure WHY it was so hard for them to get my hair done. They had the audacity to tell me that it was because A.) I have a lot of hair and B.) and it was really thick. All I wanted was simple, medium-sized box braids. Medium length. Not even super long but shoulder length. It was like a chore for them to get it done. Fast forward HOURS later they finally finish up at almost 7:30, so basically it took them a full work day to get my hair braided. Isabelle apologized for the delay, but by this time I was too thru with them. I paid my $ 160, thanked them for their time and technique and vowed not to set foot in there again.

I LOVE Isabelle! Her and her worker did an exceptional job on my hair! I was also very pleased w/the amount of time it took for them to do my hair and of her reasonable price… very efficient, proficient, and very professional! I found her by looking up African Hair Braiding on the internet. I must admit, at first I was hesitant about going to someone who I had never heard of before or whose work I had never seen. I am SOOO glad that I chose Isabelle! Not only did she do a good job on my hair, but she is very polite, friendly and made me feel very comfortable… she doesn’t compare to some of the other hair braiders that I’ve been to in the past!!! To top it off, she called me after I left, to make sure that I made it home safely knowing that I had driven almost 1 ½ hours to come to her shop!!! Her services and attitude are definitely 5 star… better yet 10 star!!! Thanks Isabelle!!!
