Ummm. I hate this Kroger. It is close to my house, however, I try to go to the one on Rockbridge more often. Its like night and day compared to this one. I haven’t really encountered any rude employees but the customer’s are bad enough. I agree that the parking lot is a mess and there are always loiters just hanging around there. I often stop off here to get gas, but once I literally had to duck and dive along with other gas station patrons because of a gang-like fight that broke out between a guy walking and some dudes in a car right by the gas pumps. They began to shout and one said«Well then SHOOTMETHEN». I had to crawl into my car and drove away like a bat out of hell. The food selection is just ok, but I don’t trust their meat. Sometimes it smells in there but to be honest, I am not sure if its the food or the customers that are causing it. I swear that ever time I walk through that door, I hear Whodini’s «Freaks Come Out At Night», even at 10am. I did have one pleasant experience here. upon walking through the doors .a older lady with a baby on hip yelled at me that the«EBT machine ain’t workin!!». I know she called herself being helpful, though I am not on «EBT» it was nice of her to «warn» me. Overall, I suggest you use this place as a last resort or just to pick up something real quick. Take a few extra minutes and get your full grocery shopping on at the Rockbridge Kroger.

I only go here because it’s nearby and my father-in-law loves Kroger so I take him here often. They recently renovated and reorganized the inside probably because a new Walmart was just opening up across the street. I do love the new layout and the decent sized selection on their organic stuff. The only thing I severely dislike about this store is that I’ve encountered very, very RUDE employees! This one cashier in particular was just mad at the world when my fiancé and I came to her line. I wanted to make sure I got my Kroger points so I was asking when to type in my number and during the whole transaction, the lady was just GLARING at me with hateful eyes. We didn’t even do anything! Naturally, my fiancé noticed this and asked her if anything was wrong. That’s when things went off with her. She started getting belligerent and unprofessional. If that’s how you act off work – fine. IDGAF because I won’t associate myself with you anyway BUT she was at WORK so both our presence was forced to come together and deal with that transaction. I didn’t ask nor provoke her whatsoever to get her wrath thrown at me that was prolly caused by another customer or whatever else she has going on in her life. So my fiancé and I complained to a manager… But a couple weeks later, we saw that she was still working at the cashier. Um what the hell? Whatever. I don’t expect fantastic customer service in Stone Mountain anyway.

Um, the parking is a little crazy. Go grease lighting! Guess nobody wants, to walk too far to get in the store. Just ran in for some fruit, it looked decent enough. Gas price was good!

OMG, I hate this Kroger, Kroger is usually my go to supermarket because of their prices and layout of their stores. But this one is one of their older properties & they haven’t kept it up at all. The parking lot is like a scene from Death Race [minus Jason Statham] & the store inside although sq ft is about on par with most of the other locations around feels like it’s crowded and there isn’t any rhyme or reason to the layout of the store. And to top it all off the customers are rude and cranky, the staff is rude and cranky I’m just waiting for a fight to break out one day. [btw I have my money on the staff winning the fight, they have more tea drop tattoos than the customers.] Avoid this one and spend a little more time & a little more gas to go to either one of the two locations in Decatur.

This is the Kroger closest to my house. The parking lot is always a mess. Its always crowded and you often find people loitering around the parking lot bumming change and just hanging about. I had a girl try to swindle me by saying I ran into her car on the way in. I have told the manager about these things but everytime I have to go there its the same deal.

It’s convenient :) But the parking lot can be a little insane depending on the time of day you go

This kroger is both a blessing and a curse. I usually stop here after I’ve hiked up stone mountain for a piece of fruit to snack on. It’s very close to the mtn, and fruits/produce are decent. The curse is the parking lot. Like any strip mall type place, there are quite a few stores, and I’m always extra careful because cars dart in and out, and cut through several parking spaces to get to the memorial drive exit, ignoring you, regardless of your silly notion of having the right of way. I guess I can’t fault the store for that, I’d just say keep an eye out when you’re going krogering
