We saw a friends Trio perform here and had dinner. The water has that Stone Ridge sulfur smell and taste. The food was good, but the portions were inversely proportional to the price, which was a price fix. We would go back and eat there if there was a performer we want to see.

Delicious tacos, great drinks(chamomile tumeric soda), beautiful desserts. Friendly server who took time to talk to us about what we might like. Cool, casual easy vibe. We’ll be back for sure.

Terrific food, clean and understatedly sophisticated, easy friendly atmosphere. The brisket is the real deal. The tacos with pulled pork you would just keep eating as long as they kept putting them in front of you. Can’t miss lunch spot.

The BEST gluten free bread in the area. And most areas upstate I will add. Caring attentive service and GREAT food still. I find myself going there weekly as it is convenient and delish.

Lekker was recommended to us by a local Stone Ridge resident whose opinion I value very much. It’s a cute, non-pretentious place with a diverse brunch menu. The staff is quite laid back with their service, which, as a city girl, was something I had to get used to; being in such a beautiful area would make anyone relaxed. I get that now. I ordered a coffee with the mushroom breakfast skillet which was absolutely delicious(a fritata with an assortment of local mushrooms paired with a salad), while my husband had the tacos with freshly squeezed orange juice, which he enjoyed, too. I liked Lekker and will return when back in Stone Ridge, which hopefully will be soon.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch today, dining al fresco on the patio. There is table service and the waitress was great. Breakfast items are available all day, so we had a buttery almond croissant and a chicken sandwich on gluten free toast, with bacon, avocado, greens and aioli. Also the home brewed spiced chai latte was super, not that powdered stuff most places serve. There are many gluten free items on the menu for both breakfast and lunch, including baked goods — we had a great GF peanut butter cookie that was so good we had to take 2 more home with us!

Great! We really enjoyed our lunch. Really good burgers(what we both were hungry for), well presented with nice salad & crispy roast potatoes. Good service and a nice space.

I feel very blessed to live in the Hudson Valley, and more particularly, Stone Ridge because of places like Lekker. Best coffee. Best waitstaff(Michelle rox). Best FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD(kudos to the chef! amazing stuff for realzzzzzz). Too bad they’re closed for vacay… but I suppose they’re entitled! lol Waiting for them to reopen.

Amazing café! I come here several times a week and the chef always delivers on quality dishes. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. My mom was visiting and the chef prepared her meal according to her dietary needs. We really appreciated that level of care for the customer.

Chicken sandwich was delicious. My friend had a grilled cheese and soup also good. The place is cute but not a ton of personality.

This place is great! The coffee is amazing, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is creative and well-prepared. I had the Lekker Burger for a recent lunch and it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I love that they use super-local Twin Spruce Farm grass-fed beef, raised a few miles away. My sweet-toothed friend had the Bread Pudding French Toast and it was beautiful and ridiculously delicious. One of their chefs is Indian, and they recently started doing Indian dinners to go. Excited to try that soon. Check out Lekker, you won’t be sorry. Their menu is varied and vegetarian-friendly, and so far everything I’ve tried has been really good. And of course, the coffee, the coffee.

Lekker is the best of all worlds… truly delicious, fresh food that varies from hearty meat stews to vegetarian fare that satisfies and is more creative than any of us truly want to be at home. The menu has fun specials, which I love and look forward to… no dull eating at this 209 destination. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming and accommodates the work-at-home-but-don’t-always-want-to-be-alone peeps who can use the free wifi and sip on the BEST coffee in Stone Ridge! And for those of us who live for brunch and a beautiful Mimosa… they’ve got us covered!(If you are a Sunday Bloody Mary drinker– not to fret! Amazing BM’s with house made pickled veggies and BACON!) Come ONNNNN!!! What’s not to love?

Don’t go: this place is terrible! $ 11 for an «Arugula Salad with Parmesan Cheese, Lemon, and Olive Oil». The prices are outrageous and the food was not great. I ordered the tacos-$ 12 for two small tacos and a «side salad”-a heap of lettuce with a barely noticeable amount of dressing. Bathroom ceiling was leaking, waitress was very peculiar and jarring, ikea decorations hanging from the ceiling all over. Just drive down the road into Rosendale-there are plenty of places to eat there.

The wife and I were searching out a brunch spot on our weekend trip to the Shawangunks and we noticed the Lekker sign along 209 and were curious. This place was made for us! The décor is delightful with tasteful music and plenty of space. We have a toddler and they were most accommodating. The food was delicious as the name, in Dutch, implies. I had a standard bacon & eggs breakfast which they tweaked for my dairy intolerance. The wife had a vegetarian tacos who she found more flavorful than most veggie options. I’ll add that she is not a vegetarian anymore, and she generally derides vegetarian food for its lack of flavor, but Lekker did it well. The espresso was great and the wife had a hibiscus prosecco which was unique, which she raved about. If you are looking for a sophisticated taste in a bucolic country setting, Lekker is all you need.

Lekker is overpriced and underwhelming. I’ve had lunch three times at this restaurant. The menu selection is scant. The sandwhiches are OK, but not worth the $ 12-$ 15 that you will pay. I’d like to try breakfast there, however. Have a feeling it might be better.

I’ve been to Lekker a number of times, for breakfast and lunch. Staff has always been friendly, the food great, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the service prompt. Their breakfast special is a great deal. Highly recommend!

In a college town notably lacking in interesting dinner options, we’re so happy about Lekker’s themed dinner & music nights. The menu is always changing and always a delight, we love the Friday night bbq especially and the bands are(almost) always good and always a hit for the kids(who would rather be dancing than stuck at a table). The staff is super helpful and the kitchen incredibly accomodating, even for picky people(like me!). They are sometimes understaffed, so be patient but they are always trying their best and we’ve never had a bad time!

Three of us went in the evening they had a band, Rio Libre and a BBQ menu. I knew I was in trouble when I walked in was told to seat myself and a lone woman was seated at a four top. We moved our own table. 7pm on a Friday night, they were out of the Korean Ribs. The waitress said they were 86. That was the only thing about the restaurant business she knew. The place was full, the band was good. We watched our food get cold on the shelf between the kitchen and front of the house. Eventually another woman brought our food to the table, room temperature. Our water arrived after dinner, when we asked for it the second time. We asked about desert we were told what they were but the waitress never came back to take our desert order. The waitress never asked how our meal was(good move) or refreshed our drinks. We asked the non-waitress lady for our check, we couldn’t find the original waitress. The steak was fine, although lukewarm and the cold grilled veggies didn’t really hold up. This place is so unprofessional I don’t see how it can stay in business. The staff needs training and all hands have to help when needed, that includes taking orders, delivering orders to the table, refreshing drinks, busing tables etc.

We have been here 4 times now and were initially impressed with the imaginative food preparation. There is an ample selection for vegetarians, but they do not shy away from meat dishes either. Great beef stew, and savory soups. Fried eggs over cheesy polenta, delicious hearty strips of bacon, great home made bread for toast and sandwiches. They have their regular menu, then lots of creative specials. At Sunday brunch a bloody mary comes with enough garnish that it is a salad AND a cocktail. Portions are all very generous. The Coffee is excellent, REALCOFFEE. Most dishes come with some greens. SERVICE is the problem. Sometimes friendly, often flakey, food will sit at the kitchen window getting cold while the waitress is missing in action. Final straw was when we asked for an iced tea refill and were charged $ 2.75 additional. Really?

We had lunch at Lekker for the second-and last-time today. Really disappointing as I would love to support a local business. The staff is nice enough, and there are some wonderful things(the teas and coffee are very good), but the food just misses the mark. The salad dressings are mostly oil, the bread is white and stale-tasting, and(today) the lentil soup tasted of raw tomato paste with nary a lentil in sight. To our server’s credit, she removed the soup from the bill(w/o having to be asked). I can’t recall what we had during our first lunch, but it was so bad that we left and went to The Last Bite instead. A coffee on the go will likely be the only thing that brings us back into Lekker.
