What a wonderful ice cream shop! Generous portions of Richardson’s Ice Cream served by a very pleasant staff. We take our young grandchild there and the servers are very attentive to her. Further, during the school year the place is quite busy when the junior high gets out, but it’s never outrageously loud or out of control. And how many places have both Frozen Pudding and Black Raspberry on their flavor list!(As well as all the more normal flavors.)

The staff is super nice and friendly. They carry Richardson’s ice cream and it is delicious! Beware of the sizing on the cones. A kiddie is a HUGE scoop so keep that in mind when ordering. They also have seating outside. It is right on Main Street but awesome to hang out where you can be outside. Enjoy!

I/we love it here! There is a girl that works there who is so sweet, pretty, kind & knows her stuff. She is always so busy & boy can she make a sundae! She packs the ice cream for us with such force, I will not let anyone else do it. I believe her name is Talia. Go to The Daily Scoop you will love the ice cream there & the awesome service, they work extremely hard there. Nice, comfortable great little ice~cream shop!!!

Friendly staff, large selection of flavors. Beware… If you take your children, a small portion is LARGE. Will be ordering the kiddie size next time!

Both the soft serve I got was very bland, and my daughters smoothie was not mixed properly and didn’t taste good either. Luckily the dog liked the treat she got…

This is my favorite ice cream place. They have the best soft serve ice cream and you can get it served in these cute little mini base ball hats. I love them. Great place — Fee like an ice cream Go THERE !! My goal is to collect all the hates without getting to fat ! haha.

This is THE place to go if looking for an ice cream cake! I had their adorable ‘castle’ cake for my sons birthday and believe me it was worth the extra $ 10 to get this than a regular cake, everyone loved it! Thanks daily scoop for making his party a success!

As others have pointed out, this place started out a winner with loads of fun charm, when it was rehabbed and run by a young couple a few years back. Now it’s simply horrible under the«new» owners. Dirty, crowded with junk, and expensive. Richardson’s is only B– ice cream anyway. If you’re in Stoneham, go to Dairy Dome, which is okay but also not terrific. The best in the area, bar none, is Cravings on Main street in Wakefield — an old-fashioned soda fountain with wonderful homemade, A+ ice cream.

The only positive I can give The Daily Scoop is that they chose to serve Richardson’s ice cream. Aside from that, their servings are TINY and very expensive for the size. Like the last reviewer pointed out, the place is not really all that clean. The staff wasn’t very friendly and I certainly was not impressed. I will not be back, as there are many other great options closeby.

I’m actually taking away a star as I kick myself in the @ss for tempting fate once again. As I have previously commented, this ice cream establishment does not feel at all cleanly and on my most recent excursion to the Daily Scoop I saw a rusty bobby pin in the tub of orange sherbet. Now I understand that mistakes happen– hair accessories fall out, but luckily, I was not in an orange sherbet mood. When I quietly pointed out the foreign object in the tub, the employee simply smiled at me and went about her business. I can imagine the bobby pin was later removed and the contaminated product was dispensed to unassuming customers. When I got to the counter to pay I was informed that they were out of napkins and there were sticky spills everywhere. For the love of ice cream, what is going on in this place??? Maybe I have finally learned my lesson or maybe my gluttonous affection for ice cream will continue to provide Unilocal.with more disappointing stories– stay tuned!
