I have gone to Mystic consignment for several years, but things have changed. I was told twice to come to the store and pick up my check for items that had been sold some time ago. Both times I was told the check was not available, but it would be mailed to me. Usually the phone message is that the mailbox is full, but last week I got through and was told the check was in his hand would be mailed to me that day. That was a week ago and still no check. They do not have an email address, so the only thing to do is to go there, but then I just get excuses. It seems that there prices are also higher and no real bargains.

For those looking to consign marine-related items, I highly recommend this place. I have been working with them for several years, consigning many items including nautical antiques, and have found them to be the most honest and professional people in the business. They put a lot of effort into researching things, and they get in touch with me to keep me posted on things. Previously, I’d had some bad experiences with other consignment stores, but here the experience has been 100 percent positive.

I know nothing about boating, fishing or doing anything on water but I walked passed this place and had to go in for a look. The view from the outside looked like a nautical museum. There were some really old nautical pieces of art and antiques, as well as newer preowned items. I was sending pics to my co-worker because I knew he would appreciate it. So many rods, ropes, lures etc. Cool things to put on your boat, or hang on your wall. I am shocked this was not on Unilocal already, but I am proud to be the first reviewer. After reading about it on their website, I found out they have Kayak rentals, for tourists like me!
