Took my hunny for Valentine’s Day seemed a little busy, our waitress was very good she seemed overwhelmed with tables but nevertheless she was attentive to us. I had the lasagna which was very good the Bar drinks are good also and come fast. Has a great homie family atmosphere. The prices are good the place is cool plus they have my favorite buffalo calamari.

Service is great, and everyone quite friendly! Enjoyed the hot antipasto, eggplant Parmesan and angel hair pasta– all delicious. This place makes their own cannoli with the crunchy crispy shell stuffed with cream filling &topped with powdered sugar.

This is my second time ordering food from this venue and both times haven’t been pleasantly memorable. The first time I assumed it was just a bad night, but after it happened again the other night I know it’s not a coincidence. I ordered the meal to go/Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was undercooked and the alfredo sauce was minimal. It was basically very plain pasta with tough bland chicken. The garlic bread was toasted to the point that it cut my toddlers gums. We were only able to some salad and cheese sticks(that taste frozen). We paid $ 45 for this meal and sadly we all went to bed hungry because it was all inedible. $ 45 is a lot to spend on a meal that ends up in the garbage. My 6 year old was so hungry he tasted some of the pasta and woke up at 3:00AMVOMITTING the pasta everywhere! :( We won’t be returning to Pasta Cucina ever!!!

Yum-mo! Have yet to be disappointed with the food or service here. I have a food allergy and they always work with me so I am not stuck with the same meal each time. Staff, including Mario, are always warm and engaging. Waitstaff and busboy are always quick with a smile and to make sure all your needs are met. Feels like family, but without all the yelling. My favorite is the eggplant appetizer. Have had pasta, chicken, veal & seafood and was always pleased. If you can, save room for the tartuffo.

Very disappointed. Eggplant Parmesan tasted like it had been stored in a refrigerator. The pasta sauce was very strong tasting, but not in a good way. Sauce was very acidic. Staff was very nice and accommodating, but were all fixated on the soccer game on tv in the bar area. My stomach did not respond well to this meal. My husband says his chicken Parmesan tasted like the deep fryer. Now he’s complaining of heartburn. We’ve agreed not to go back.

The service here is excellent, the menu is vast and has some unique offerings, the specials are numerous, the portions are generous, the food is tasty, and they use garlic and broccoli rabe in large amounts. So that pretty much equals 5 stars in my book, as it was above my expectations.

Pasta Cucina in Stony Point is Fantastic as the food is absolutely delicious, the staff is extremely friendly with great service and it has an absolute family atmosphere and is very kid friendly. It is definitely our most favorite place to eat the best food… you always go home with a smile on your face. Mario and his staff are the best and always make your visit a memorable one… you will never go wrong choosing Pasta Cucina for a great dining experience.

I love Pasta Cucina. They have the best italian nacho appetizer. So delicious. The staff is very friendly. Never had a bad meal here. The groupon they have is well worth the money. We go here every few weeks I’d say.

This place is a good find for gluten free eaters who still love their Italian food. The staff was very helpful and made my dish just as I requested. Our party all enjoyed our dishes which were mostly chosen from the specials board. Lots of good garlic and a shared tartufo for dessert. The food is less than amazing, but was really fine for the occasion. I must say however that the restaurant was cold and the staff sometimes hard to flag down. but they were super nice every time.

This is your average Italian fare. Not overwhelming amazing food but good enough to keep you coming back when you factor in the food with the service. The bread they start you off with is alright, the dough inside is warm but the exterior is very flaky. As if its not very fresh and has been frozen. I always get the Veal Parm whenever I eat Italian and I happen to think it is just fine here. It has been very consistent every time I have ordered it and the portion size is perfect. Can it be bigger, sure, but I would rather not jeopardize the price or quality. I also see where an individual thought it was deep fried, which is a possibility, but also pan frying in too much oil could also yield similar results so I am not going to jump to conclusions on that. The salads they give are nice with only one dressing, there creamy Italian which is just fine. The sauce is fine as well, nothing to really knock here. It smells of fresh tomatoes and does not overwhelm with seasonings. Every chef has there own interpretation on their red sauce and I respect this one. The wait staff is really great and makes you feel at home. They are a real shining point of this restaurant. Each time I have been there I have had different waitstaff personnel. I have always gotten a patient and helping person. If you need something substituted or just want the whole dish cooked a certain way to your liking they have done it without question. They seem to bend backwards and forwards to make you happy here. Overall this is a good place to come if you want some simple Italian food. The three star description in my opinion of «A-OK» accurately describes this place. Will I go preaching to people on how amazing this place is… no. However if someone asks«hey I am in the area and want a nice family Italian restaurant to dine-in in the area.» I would throw this out as suggestion. This place is just simply fine to go to.

Went there twice both using a groupon. Bottom line is if your a regular you get a special treatment: no questions asked regulars get waited on hand & foot. Penne vodka was a regular red sauce no pancetta or even bacon inside, looks like no cream was added for the pink/orange color of the sauce. Their Mariana sauce is not authentic Italian taste. Waiter suggested an item to my husband the dish was so bland. We will not be back at all. My son ordered chicken fingers all it was were chicken cutlet cut in strips I know it’s an Italian restaurant but he didn’t want a cutlet. The only thing I enjoyed was the salad brought to the table that’s it.

Pasta Cuchina has always been good. Not always remarkable, but good. Within the last year or so they really stepped up their game. I believe the owners took it over and made it independent or the other locations, and since the food has really been great. The servers are always friendly and attentive, and treat you like family. It has since become one of my favorite places in Rockland.

Chicken parm is out of a box and deep fried like they were cooking french fries not pan cooked which is the only way to cook a cutlet –sauce is overly spiced with oregano and there was no garlic, no basil, no love in other words. wouldn’t hire an Italian to cook Chinese food and visa versa, the cooks and servers were watching a soccer game at the bar which was an indication no one was in the kitchen i guess because the owner took the day off, what ever, very disappointed. problem is there is no italian restaurants close by except for the one on 202 in that little strip mall. and they also have the same ethnic cooks which are not italian. theres no competition .no desire to be the best.

Always dependable and good italian food. Their red sauce is nice. So why only 2 stars? We went with a Groupon, and felt they cut the portion sizes — they don’t bring the usual dependable salad with Groupons, and the veal portions were like half the normal serving — not a good deal

All of the food here is good, but the phenomenal items are found on the specials. There are items for everyone, and the pasta dishes can all be ordered in half portions. It’s very family oriented, I have little ones and the staff treats them like gold. This restaurant is one of the staples on «going out» repertoire.

Excellent food & service. A little crowded when we first got there but we didn’t have to wait. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated & the dishes are well-priced. The staff is friendly & a pleasure!
