Larry has been providing me with an amazing personal chef service for the past several years. I have a vegan diet and buy exclusively organic vegetables and other ingredients. When work and life get extremely busy I do not have time to prepare myself the type of meal that I strive to eat every day. As a result, I was resorting to a lot of frozen organic dinners from the natural food store. Although there are some good options out there, I really prefer a home cooked meal with choice ingredients(including those from my own garden) at least several nights a week. Larry worked with me to come up with some amazing options, as well as added a meal or two from recipes that I provided for him. He spends about 6 – 7 hours in my kitchen, using his own professional cookware and cutlery, and in that time prepares what equates to about 12 dinners, and usually enough for leftovers for lunch the next day! The majority of the items are setup directly into glass, oven-safe tuperwares and frozen for me to eat over the coming weeks, while one dish is prepared to eat fresh that night after he thoroughly cleans my kitchen. He also usually makes a batch of soup and/or peanut sauce that can be frozen to enjoy later with items he prepared(like tempeh fritters) or on my own dishes. As a result of Larry’s great service I am eating local, organic, vegan meals that I simply have to defrost and then bake. I throw the lid back on the tuperware if I have some leftovers(which I usually do even though i’m a large eater) and then pull it out for lunch the next day. I highly recommend him for this type of service, catering for a buffet style special event or a fresh meal prepared for a dinner party.
