Let me start with this is the only hotel in town. So there wasn’t a lot of shopping around that could be done. I was so tired from an 18 hour drive I would have slept on a sofa in the lobby. Bottom line is the hotel is dated. The rooms are slightly below average, from the outdated décor to the spring loaded uncomfortable beds. The only pluses are 1. While old the accommodations are clean. 2. Continental breakfast. For the price $ 115 I felt a little taken advantage of, But being exhausted, I wasn’t about to go anywhere else.

It can be tricky booking a hotel in a small town — you never know what you are in for. Well, I want to say I really like this Ramada. I’ve stayed twice on business, and it’s pretty much everything I look for at this price range. Comfortable, clean, large rooms, free wi-fi, a wide variety at the breakfast bar, fitness center, pool, and my favorite — complimentary cookies at the front desk(of which perhaps I partook more than my fair share). TVs in the rooms are modern HD flatscreens and feature a large number of channels(for some reason, whenever I stay in a hotel, there is a Pawn Stars marathon that I end up watching). Front desk staff are friendly and were very accommodating when I needed to add an extra night — I booked using an internet service, which they could not add onto, but were able to keep me in the same room. So, if you find yourself in the New Philadelphia area on business, or are passing through on I-77 and need to stop for the night, consider this hotel.
