Best all you can eat I’ve been to in CT so far. Plenty of good rolls, sashimi, sushi. Best thing is they use minimal rice unlike I’ve found at others. Litterally nothing bad about this place.

For $ 20 a person, this place is everything you can ask for for this price. The sushi is decent for the price, and while there were only two waitstaff, they did a great job making sure all the tables were attended. I appreciated that this place didn’t use too much rice on the sushi. If you’re looking for a cheap place to get decent sushi, give this place a try!

For the price and quality of this all you can eat sushi. It’s well worth it. Sushi is of good quality, you have a good choice of hot foods as well. Sometimes it gets busy and your order might be a bit slower than expected. Sashimi is a nice portion and fresh, red snapper, salmon, white tuna, yellowtail all delicious. Would be nice to see more dessert options other than ice cream but the rest is fantastic!

Great quality sushi and the hot tea is really good. The servers are friendly and quick to refill drinks and take the papers after they are filled out.

Wanted to try a new AYCE sushi joint aside from my regular Sushi Palace in Orange and Sushi X in West Haven. I went at around 5 on a Friday with one other person, walked in and was greeted and seated promptly. The place was pretty dead aside from two other parties. The AYCE menu is typically the same one you can find in all the other ones: a kitchen menu and a sushi menu. From the kitchen we ordered chicken teriyaki, lumpia(egg roll), and shumai(dumplings). They came out a few minutes later, still fresh and hot(well, besides the teriyaki but I’ll touch on that later). The lumpia was excellent! Loved the sauce it came with too, wished we ordered more immediately. The shumai was nothing special but still good. The teriyaki, however, was less than room temperature. They were diced up pieces of chicken lazily slobbered on with teriyaki sauce. It was just an awkward mess with the consistency of rubber. Now, let’s get to the sushi. We ordered a philly roll, volcano roll, soft shell crab roll, and spicy crab roll. The philly rolls were great, didn’t expect the cucumber but really liked the crunchy touch. The volcano roll was a disaster. The middle contents were fried and didn’t taste fresh at all. It had a weird fishy taste which is a number one no-no when it comes to fresh sushi. The soft shell crab roll was slimy — you could’ve made an indent with your finger on top and it would’ve remained. The absolute worst was the spicy crab roll. It tasted VILE, like it was old and had been sitting out for ages! I was utterly disgusted. The service was good, the place itself and its seating were nice, but I came here for good sushi and that’s not what I got. I don’t have a sensitive stomach when it comes to sushi but mine felt very queasy after this meal. I won’t return.

My fiancé and I love this place. The sushi is delicious and fresh, and the service is prompt and pleasant. Come hungry and enjoy your fill of sushi, it’s all you can eat and made to order. The do require to eat what you order, just as all these places… But for $ 20 for all you can that’s a small request, since they make it to order.

All you need to know: — Delicious, fresh sashimi(try the garlic salmon) — Enormous all you can eat menu includes sashimi, rolls, sushi, appetizers — Super friendly, attentive service — Wine isn’t great quality, but it’s fairly cheap($ 18/bottle); beers aren’t too expensive either I’d go back without a doubt.

Typical AYCE sushi joint. I swear all their menus are the same, too. Some of the waitresses don’t look like they wanna be there, and a couple had no idea what I was asking her so she had to ask someone else. It was hard to get someone’s attention, too. But our teas were constantly refilled, so they made up for it in that aspect. You got your simple rolls, your specialty rolls, sashimi, and kitchen items. Again, pretty typical and underwhelming. I did like the price though($ 18 for dinner!), and you leave full, so that’s not too much to complain about.

Ok… quick! All you can eat sushi… what do you first think… COMEON! «Will I get sick?».right? right? No? Ok well I do. At the very least I think, when I DO get sick, will it have been worth it. Fret not my sushi loving pets… this place is great! Price wise/quality wise/service wise… you’re kind of getting your bang for your buck here. Came with a friend and we had saved space in our belly that day… we were ready to take no prisoners. Ordered basically one of everything on the menu… and ate it all! Do not waste here… keep ordering small amounts… they will gladly come back over. Service is not lacking. Buyer beware, when you DO order a lot. they will try to trick you and not bring out everything. They’re hoping you’ll forget. REMEMBER so you can re-circle it on the list. They will not give you your old slip back. Little sushi shysters is what they are! Also… LOTSSSSSSSSSSs of kids on this day… like babies… running around… and around. thankfully, I have friends with kids so it didn’t bother me… but if you want a quiet night out with your love bug and don’t want bugger baby bumper bumping into you. This may not be for you. Two very hungry ladies a bottle of wine on a Monday and we were out the door for around 40.00

Great all you can eat sushi at a great price– it’s $ 18.95 Mon-Thurs and $ 19.95 Fri-Sun. The service is great as well. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about Kama Sushi. My favorites are the Spicy Seaweed Salad, Passion Roll, and White Tuna Sushi. Definitely one of the best AYCE sushi spots in the area. Sake is only $ 7 per bottle so this place is very affordable. Give it a try you’ll be glad you did!

I had a horrible first time experience here. I arrived at around 230 for a late lunch and I was the only one in the entire restaurant. I initially ordered a Boston roll and a jalapeño yellowtail roll. Every sushi bar that I have ever been to has had fresh jalapeño in their yellowtail jalapeño rolls. This restaurant had a soggy pickled jalapeño in the roll which I ended up sending back. The Boston roll came out with a ton of mayonnaise slathered on the top. The Kani salad that I ordered for an appetizer was dried out and was flavorless. Not to mention, I had asked for a yellow tail jalapeño appetizer which was not on the menu that I special requested and the waitress told me that the sushi chef did not know how to make a yellowtail jalapeño appetizer. Really?!? Will never return.

We had the all you can eat sushi and sashimi. We are sashimi lovers and we ordered 3 rounds of sashimi. Apparently the first round they use really good sashimi but the second and third round they use low grade salmon that you could taste the difference. They were sour. Well I understand that they are trying to make money and sashimi is expensive. But I guess you just need to learn your lesson of ordering enough during the first round.

Went with the good reviews and took s chance and was Yummy!!! I and my two daughters loved the All you can Eat– 19.95 so many choices and even for my vegetarian daughter who’s super picky. Food was fresh and ALot. We walked out stuffed Now the service was just OK — the sushi chefs worked very hard though the waitress could use a brush up on personality skills. I say no more :-) I’ll be back again Thank you Kama sushi!

I’ve been here many times for all you can eat sushi and their lunch special which is excellent about $ 10 for three rolls. AYCE is about $ 20. The selection is great and the price is right! The service is good and the waiters are attentive. It’s not fancy at all but it gets the job done when you have a serious sushi craving.

This place is right across from my frequent restaurant haunt in Stratford, so it was easy to get to. Parking can be sort of annoying, but it was a Wednesday night, so it wasn’t that bad. It’s the same owner/menu/servers as Sushi House in Rocky Hill — which meant we were in for familiarity and good sushi. It didn’t disappoint. While it would have been interesting to make a «Stratford» roll(instead of keeping the Rocky Hill roll on the menu), we ate more than enough and definitely got our money’s worth. Because I’m in Stratford a handful of times per year, I think I’d definitely be going back — but in general, it’s worth the extra drive to get better quality sushi and better service than some of the other options in the much closer Hamden/New Haven area.

I am actually surprised by this place. I didn’t expect much coming to an all you can eat sushi place, but this place is really good. The all you can eat menu went well beyond sushi. It looks like they take their favorites from each category on the menu. We were able to get miso soup, salad, edamame, tempura selections, udon noodle soups, just not the larger ticket items. I ended up eating too much, but it was so good. My daughter was also able to eat her fill for only $ 9.95. The weekend is a dollar more and they have some of the more expensive items available, but there was so much on the week menu that we left completely happy.
