My girlfriend and I went around 6:30pm on a Friday. You walk in and no one is at the servers booth to greet you. Had to walk through the bar until I got someone to seat us. Took 15 mins to get water. Another 15 to order. Another 20 for the one plate we split to come. We got the steak tips with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak tips were bloody and flavorless(I asked for Medium-Well). The mashed potatoes were also bland and greasy. The broccoli was overcooked and tan in spots. After seeing us clearly not enjoying the food, asking for the bill, and wanting to leave, the server told us the meal was free. While I appreciate the refund, the place lacks any soul or direction. Its fairly bland. Go here for the drinks, but not the food.

Unimpressive and mediocre, esp the burgers. Had high hopes. Hopefully something better will come along soon.

Went here early on a Friday night, not much activity going on except at the bar. Nice, clean, good service. I decided to get soup with my burger because not many places offer soup as a substitute for French fries with a meal. Really disappointed when it came out though, and it tasted just like canned clam chowder. The burger was tasty but really small. All in all it was really underwhelming and I probably won’t be back.

Been here about 4 times in 2 weeks just because it has really good food, a friendly neighborhood-bar ambiance, really great drinks with lots of choices for martinis and a good bang for your buck. It’s my new favorite place to go. I am needing one of those super tasty barbecue burgers with bacon and cheese very very soon… like now… gotta go. :)

We wen to Lil Mo’s for the first time. I have read some really good reviews and some not so good. I expected to have decent food and crappy service. Not the case. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. We had the seafood sample app. everything was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken scapariello. it was great. Needles to say we will go back again and hopefully again after that. I don’t think it was expensive. We have spent more on unskilled cooking in posh places. We left Lil Mo’s very happy. Next will be the burgers! Great Job Lil Mo’s!!!

Went in a Saturday at 4. The bartender greeted me after I sat down at the bar. Good selection of beer. Bartender was really good. However I ordered a patriot burger with sweet potato fries. Fries were really good. However the burger was small and barley there. Then when the bill came and I paid it took the girl forever to take my receipt. I finally had to leave. When I arrive and leave I like to know that they appreciate it.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out as a successor to the Blue Point which was in this location and was an ok spot. I love the menu here. There’s everything to choose from including burgers, dogs, sandwiches, apps, fried seafood, salads, upscale entrees, etc. You can bring anyone here and they’ll find something they can eat. The service at the bar was decent and friendly. The place was clean. There’s plenty of parking nearby. You’ll probably walk a block or so but that’s just fine. We had the Assorted Seafood appetizer and it was slightly better than average. There was a type of salsa that it came with that was awesome. The stuffed clams were good, not great. The fried seafood was the same. The other two sauces,(Tarter and cocktail?) were bland but not wretched. It came out in about 15 minutes which was fine. We had some baked cod entrée that was decent. I would say a 7 out of 10. We also had a burger which would get negative points if I could give them. It was the«Legend» burger which was billed as a customer favorite. The customer must have been someone’s starving dog. I ordered it medium. It came out about 40 minutes later and it couldn’t have been cooked more if it was parked under a space shuttle launch. There was maybe some cheese on one of the two miserable patties and a skinny slice of tasteless tomato(hard to get decent tomatos this time of year, but why slice them as if they were a cocktail napkin?) There was some lettuce and a big ass bun that could have doubled as a catcher’s mitt. The meager size of the twin roached out burgers was entirely eclipsed by the godzilla bun. It was as if they wanted to cover up the flavor(I should say alleged flavor) of the meat. I gave up on trying to eat it as a burger and used a knife and fork to slice up the meat and chewed my way through it. I didn’t want to draw attention to how awful it was to the people I was with or I wouldn’t have eaten it at all. It was also cold and I’m pretty sure it was the same type of frozen pre-made patty you get at Restaurant Depot(which can be edible if cooked properly and eaten fresh off the grill with a decent bun, cheese and condiments, but I wouldn’t serve pre-made frozen burgers the way Lil’ Mo’s serves them cold, overcooked on a dense, tasteless humongous bun). There’s simply no excuse for serving such a horrible burger. I’m nearly certain that the bartender forgot to fire the entrees and the burger was overcooked and sitting while they cooked the fish, which was very hot and fresh and decent overall. So I won’t be suggesting going here, but I wouldn’t tell people to avoid it either. At some point I’ll be with someone who wants to go here and I’ll quietly go along. Maybe the experience will be better and if so I’ll update my review.
