Staff was friendly but we paid for our food before realizing they forgot part of my order(fried okra). I don’t eat meat– I had ordered sides: ceasar salad, Mac and cheese, fried okra. Since it was a BBQplace I was most excited about the okra but after paying and getting the rest of my parties order and realizing it was missing, I didn’t feel like wiaiting in line, ordering again, waiting for food again, paying again.

party of 9 — including 5 rowdy kids. not too big but not to small. brisket was shredded, not used to that. kids loved the fried okra, waffle fries, ribs, and sausages. Best thing was non diary self soft serve ice cream for all at the end =)

Food is great, always consistently delicious! The situation that really showed me that this company stands behind their product and employees are amazing was a situation using an outside delivery source. Meal was missing quite a few things and errors, not at fault to Dickies. I called outside source, «not our problem» come to find out that my meal was not submitted as ordered. Cody was informative, letting me know about their delivery option, and offered a free meal! Everything worked out with our order by subbing items within the fridge but Dickies barbeque rocks. Thanks Cody for the clarification and generous offer.

This is a great BBQ place that serves very tasty food and has great service. I’ve been here a couple of times over the past few months and the food has been great each time; the brisket is amazing and will melt in your mouth and the BBQ sauce is really, really good. The people who work here are really nice and have made sure that we get as the maximum deal every time we go here. I definitely recommend coming here and the waffle fries are made to order, so definitely try some!

Pretty good bbq for a pa strip mall type place Flavor was good, price was good Cons are at night they were out of many sides Meat is wrapped in cellophane which is a really bad way to keep meat warm its also illegal to do so in many cities as its a health hazard It also just continues to steam the meat, I was fine but wife had stomach issues that night and next day Was it the food? Dont know but with wrapped meat very good chance that it was

Ordered: 2 meat meal combo(pulled pork and brisket, waffle fries, mac and cheese, and complimentary roll, pickles, and onions) Pros– The meal altogether was a pretty decent price based on the amount of food given. The meat was tender and their complimentary BBQ sauces added a nice zing of flavor. Cons– The meats were somewhat dry. One of the meats came out of a plastic packaging which wasn’t appetizing. The service was slow, despite it being an assembly line process(which typically speeds up the service).

Dickey’s employs a line service model similar to Chipotle, but the duties are allocated in a way which makes it longer to order rather than having a single order station. I also did not like that the food was served out of plastic packaging. The brisket and pulled pork were very dry. We wouldn’t have finished the meat without the sauces. I did like that the sauces were kept hot. There are three sauces which seemed pretty similar to each other with some slight differences. Our sides tasted like they were frozen and then reheated. All in all, Dickey’s provides a family friendly experience at a very reasonable price.

If you want good bbq, avoid here! Unpleasant workers who don’t care. Brisket tasted like dried-out roast beef and the first time I’ve never ate all the brisket served to me. Spicy cheese sausage and sides(Mac & cheese, cheesy spinach, fried okra, Caesar salad) saved our meal. Don’t waste your time, go to sonic and get a milkshake.

Very nice place. Ribs were perfect and beef brisket was 5 stars, pulled pork was 4 stars. Not too much bbq sauce on ribs to overpower the taste of meat! Overall for the price closer to 5 stars.

The best BBQ restaurant in the Poconos. Wish they would change the Baked Beans recipe back to the earlier Smoked version. Their current state is a soupy mess with little flavor.

For a quick fix of BBQ, this is the place. Very friendly staff. Pick it. Order it. Grab it at the counter and you’re out of there. Deliciousness at a very inexpensive price. This is family friendly.

Five stars because for a chain«fast food» type of BBQ joint, Dickeys holds its own. And very well at that The only«gripe» I have with this location is unlike in TX Dickey’s they don’t have peach cobbler for dessert, which is transcendent. Also no cornbread, which is a head scratcher. The meat quality is quite high. I’ve had the brisket, pulled pork and chicken. The sides are super yum, with the fried okra out of this world– Really! Yes, I know it’s a chain! BBQ beans are good, as are the waffle fries. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of high chairs so bring your little ones for some down home grub.

Unilocal let us down on this one. Eastern PA must be a desert for BBQ, if this passes for real food. Really, this is corporate fast food — the quality is not very good at all. My wife’s chicken breast came out of a sealed plastic bag, cooked somewhere else and unpackaged. The bread was not fresh. The Mac and Cheese could have come out of a box, the baked beans were very typical, kind of sweet, with nothing to distinguish them. I had the brisket — dry and not very smokey, and the pulled pork, okay. The sauce was nothing special. One bright spot was the green beans and bacon, which my wife enjoyed. The best thing about Dickeys is the music they play — Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash I would not return here. Find somewhere else!

I love their pot roast and their sides are great. I go there often and always love their Mac and cheese. I suggest it for people who like good fast BBQ. And free ice ceram.

Please keep in mind, this is fast food Barbecue, so while I think it deserves 4 stars, it’s fast food 4 stars. However, for fast food, Dickey’s is pretty strong. The meats are well cooked, juicy and tasty. The sides are above average and the staff was very friendly. This is the second Dickey’s I’ve been to and it seems that quality is important to the chain.

I’m a rib man, when it comes to barbecue. Don’t get me wrong, I also eat brisket, pulled pork, sausage, turkey, chicken, lamb… any type of barbecue meat, I will eat. But I prefer ribs. Which is why I was a little bit sad that the ribs weren’t done,* and I’d have to wait ½ an hour if I wanted some ribs. I wasn’t about to do that, since my impatient wife would’ve murdered me(I really should’ve divorced her on the drive over anyway), so we ended up getting a three-meat platter: Brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. With mac and cheese and a Caesar salad as the sides. I wasn’t sad about any of it. It was cheap, flavorful, and quite a lot of food for the price. The mac and cheese was solid, and among the meats the pulled pork was a clear winner because Dickey’s has some great sauce to liven it up. The brisket was passable, and I would’ve enjoyed the sausage more if my wife hadn’t berated me for getting the one with jalapeños and cheese in it. Who doesn’t want jalapeños and cheese in their sausage? I really should divorce that woman. _____________ *I suppose this is preferable to them giving me under-cooked ribs, but any time I don’t get ribs I’m going to be sad.
