Very knowledgable customer service. Great variety of merchandise. Organized stocked isles with top of the line brands. There’s parking right on the back of the store and street parking up front of the store. Simply said, one stop shop for all your hunting, camping and sports shop.

An amazing selection of outdoor gear and apparel. I had to do a FFL to FFL transfer and the staff here helped me within minutes and made the experience about as pain free as possible. If I were a resident I’d be looking at the amazing selection of handguns.

Worst customer service imaginable. False advertising. Not willing to order an item advertised. Everyone in there super rude. Don’t know how they are in business. Rip offs

Not happy with my recent visit. Went to buy ammo (9mm), when I asked the employee for a different grain, he just walked away and never returned as if bothered by my question. Perhaps if we were buying guns that day he would be more happy to help. Most likely wont return.
Total opposite of the Brodheadsville Dunkelbergers where I was always treated with kindness and a smile.

I’ve bought a lot of different guns here. I’ve always been helped longer then a customer should be helped. They are very knowledgable, patient, and helpful. I will continue to come here before I would go anywhere else. They have character and a personal touch you can’t get from big department stores!

Very nice place with friendly staff. Only giving ⁴⁄₅ stars because of the higher prices. Went there looking for a few things since we were in the area and ended up finding exactly what I needed. The price was a little higher than I would have liked but it wasn’t overly expensive.

A friend and I dropped in for an emergency hiking boots purchase and we were delighted to find good shoes and great service. The staff are very helpful and I’d seriously consider driving all the way out again just to shop there. They have a wide range of firearms for shooting enthusiasts and an archery range upstairs. (Although I’m told you have to bring your own gear.)

I have visited the store in the pass and have been met with a variety of styles of customer service depending on who your dealing with. The miscellaneous is what I frequent the store for such as, ammo, holsters, etc. The product has been just fine every time. On July 7^th my wife went in to purchase her very first gun. A sale on the M&P Shield at a very affordable price. Upon checking her iPhone to get the right make and model she was told by an employee that «she should know what she’s looking for». She replied that she was not sure and that this was her first purchase. To which he replied «I don’t think this purchase is for you». Needless to say my wife was appalled and did not stay in this establishment a second longer to endure anymore accusations. Maybe she over reacted maybe not. But they were not polite. I will no longer be giving my business to Dunkelbergers from this point forward.

I must say I do have mixed reviews about this place. Tho I have bought many of my firearms and other things from the this place and am happy with all of my purchases and have had a lot of good experiences with the employees. One of the employees recommended my first gun to me which I was very happy with. I wish I could remember his name at the moment so I could mention him but if he is there I will wait to talk to him. Some other firearms employees are good as well and I enjoy talking to them and hearing there advice. Also all employees around the store away from firearms are also very pleasant. I have had just a couple of bad a experiences with employees there that I have to be choosy with who helps me. I am not a genius when it comes to guns but I’m also not an idiot but I feel like on some past occasions that the person helping me has tried to make me feel dumb for doing things or he wants nothing to do with helping me. And I do do everything by the book if that’s what youre thinking I am very safe. I just feel unwelcome with few employees. But the good do out way the bad so overall a good place and some of them behind the counter have a lot of knowledge they love sharing. I will obviously be returning and do not mean to bash the place Cuz like I said I have made many purchases and will continue too. Overall a great local business that I enjoy going to

Although my first experience was a nightmare, my boyfriend forced me to give it a second chance.
I have bought two handguns since! We went in and he bought a revolver for Christmas that he absolutely loves and the price was accurate.
Also I had 4 days to decide on my own and really want a 9 mm I was willing to settle but didn’t have to! Apparently they get new stuff all the time and had a beautiful preowned Springfield xd9. It was so clean I love it! And the wait for background checks was crazy so they told us they’d call when it went through. A half hour later I had my gun and a beautiful present to myself :)
And when we got there, the person who helped us previously noticed me and winked my way he was so nice to remember us.
Totally redeemed!

the women’s shop is very, very good. I always find something here!

The is my favorite outdoors-​men store. Locally Owned and operated. They contribute back to the community and the staff is excellent.
