Open the door to La Forchetta and walk into a romantic delicious place tucked away in Italy. The staff greetings were welcoming. The smell invited my husband and I to our seats. A perfect amount of Italian choices decorate the menu; pasta, salads & pizza. You will be debating for awhile, I suggest a glass of wine and the crab stuffed mushroom to start! My husband and I decided to share everything and settled on the spaghetti with sausage and meatball. If I could marry food this would be it! Apple Crumble Cheesecake was desert for the evening. Francesca, the owners daughter, made this and it was incredible! Sweet, light and the perfect amount for 2. She was a fantastic server, I wouldn’t be surprised if she owns the place soon or opens up her own location. Preferably in Tampa, FL!

Absolutely incredible fettuccini and chicken Parmesan. I can’t believe it has taken me so long to find this place, what a treat! The food is authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. The service was also great. I can’t wait to come back here again, it is definitely a new favorite.

Just passing through and this place is located conveniently next to hotel. Very busy location so reservations recommended.
Service was initially a little slow but improved as time passed. At the end felt a little rushed so they could turn the table.
The good… large portions, more than the average person needs to eat at one sitting, and they pour a good glass of wine.
The bad… ordered the lasagne. Should be a no brainer for any Italian restaurant. Unfortunately neither their meat or tomato sauce are properly spiced. Both awfully bland and the sauce is too much like a thinned tomato paste. They then are much too heavy with the cheese topping.
Perhaps a different menu choice would have been better. I’d say give them one try and see how it goes for you.

Absolutely terrible if they’re even remotely busy, or you plan on talking to anyone that you came with. Nearly had an anxiety attack just trying to get in the door. Unbelievably horrible, I don’t care if the food is the greatest thing on the face of this earth the environment makes the place equivalent to McDonalds. Will never return here again.

Incredible experience and very unexpected because of its location (located next to a Duncan donuts). This hidden gem offers phenomenal food and drink at a very reasonable price. I used to dread staying at the interstate hotel, but now look forward to overnights here. Hope my company doesn’t find out or the just might change our number 1;))

Certainly one of my favorite spots in Stuart. Forget about getting in there prime time in season though. The food is great, and the staff is tops. A great family owned place. I can’t say enough about it. Plenty of parking. Off the beaten path, which one would think would hurt the place. But the word is out. Don’t miss it.

I switched from 3 stars to 4. This is our go to place. It is family run, they aim to please, you can see them cooking. I order from here at least once a week. My favorites are the pizza, caprese salad, chicken Mateo, chicken Frances, eggplant. My husband loves the philly steak. I wish they had room to expand !

This place is very good. Definitely call ahead. I ordered something that they didn’t even have on the menu and they made it. The service was great. All servers pitch in. The place is small but nice but a little loud when it’s packed. I will say it’s pretty pricey.

This is the place to go!
In a strange out of the way location but family owned and homemade pasta make it worth your while. I had the Linguine a la vongole and it was absolutely delicious. This is a place to visit if you are in the area.

We ordered take out from here the other night and it was wonderful. They give you a ton of food, honestly most of the dishes could have been split between two people. We had the gnocchi in an eggplant basket, chicken and broccoli cavatelli and spaghetti Bolognese. Everything was good flavors and delicious.

I ate so much I needed a nap and stretchy pants.
Original taste of Sicily and that is saying a lot since that is where I was raised.
Our waitress was Francesca and she was fantastic.
We had a great Burrata app, braciolo and Osso BUco.
Definitely going back and wearing stretchy pants.

Thank you Unilocal.It was coming down between Wendy’s and Cracker Barrel and then you alerted me to this little gem of a restaurant. Family run the food was very good and the service attentive. Lots of attention to detail. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant in Stuart that is not a chain. I’ll be back.

How could you not love this place?
Family owned and of such superior quality compared to any other Italian restaurants. This is the perfect combination of your homemade Italian favorites and the high end menu items you just can’t get in other places.
Try anything but I highly recommend the Jumbo Shrimp & Scallop Scampi or perhaps your choice pasta with an Arribiata or a la Vodka Sauce. The pizza is amazing too. This place is known for its exceptional seafood and veal dishes. Very good pours too.
Ask for our favorite waitress Rita!
