Kathryn was friendly and amazing! I love her! I arrived much earlier than my scheduled time but they were able to push my appointment up and see me right away. I am so pleased with the services I received at Stanton. The doctor was awesome too! He explained everything and made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. I really appreciated that. I didn’t go with the $ 69 special, but added some features and upgrades to my lens and also chose among the more costly frames. Let me tell you, I was more than satisfied paying $ 138 for a thorough eye exam and two pairs of glasses that make my days happen in practically HD! Oh, and I only had to wait 20 minutes for them. You’ve got yourself a new fan Stanton!

Lure you in with ad too good to be true. 69 $ glasses ended up costing hundreds and were garbage Convinced me through high pressure and hard sell to order special contacts that were not appropriate. Said if they did not work out could be exchanged or returned. I have called and called and called and emailed and nothing but crickets. What a waste of time and money and a scam.

I now wish after reading reviews that mirror my exact experience with them that I would have saved myself of dealing with their scams… long story short they handed me frames that had chunks of the frame missing(gouge marks) and a script that was exactly the outdated one(and I was two years overdue) then my sons glasses in 24 hours the frame had bubbles and he was in an air conditioned classroom. I received a call from school telling me the lenses kept falling out. I had both pairs less than a whole day and they told me give it time. I allowed them to adjust the frames, and two hours later same thing. Manager was beyond rude and brought up my son being autistic claiming that autistic children can be rough and that he damaged them and refused to even look at the product to see the manufacturing was faulty. She then told me «good luck getting your bank to refund» but my bank was amazing and credited me in the call. Please don’t give these people your hard earned money as the saying«if a deal is too good to be true…»

The one star was for the pleasant eye exam. Eye exam went smoothly and optometrist Chad Mahaffey was professional. Receptionist was also pleasant and friendly, but then I had to go to the front of the store for the glasses. As far as the” special prices” and«free» eye exam, I paid up-front $ 45 for the eye exam which was then deducted from the price of the two pair of glasses. I was not happy with the selection of frames but settled on a second pair to get the«deal». Total cost for two pair was $ 547. That is a far cry from the prices advertised. Glasses were ordered on April 4th and I was told they would arrive April 18th. Well, they didn’t arrive until April 30th. Thinking I may have missed their call, I called three times and even stopped-in once when I was nearby. Four weeks to get glasses is inexcusable. I’ve been buying glasses since childhood and have never waited that long. The excuse was they were«digital» glasses and needed to be examined. To me, it was a ridiculous explanation! When I finally got my glasses, the person fitting them to my face told me to «Bend your face over» and«…if they fall off, I’ll tighten them.» Really? What would happen if they hit the floor and broke or scratched? I have never been fitted in such an unprofessional way! I will never go back and would advise others to stay away, especially if you have limited funds and want an inexpensive pair. This is not the place to get a bargain. It was not a «deal» and I feel I was cheated. I’m not happy with the glasses, I don’t think they fit well and they were certainly not a discount!

I had an appointment for a 11:30. I did have to wait a little while but not too long. The lady at the desk in the doctors office was friendly and professional. The Doctor was ok. It was when I went in the glasses showroom that things went downhill. I had picked out a pair of glasses and was ready to purchase them and a years worth of contacts. I had insurance but was told I needed to get some sort of vision club plan and buy 2 pairs of glasses and not use my insurance. I told the lady I didn’t want to do this I just wanted to purchase 1 pair of glasses. She told me that did not make sense because it was a better deal to get 2 pairs. She was not going to budge on this so I walked out and went straight over to Optical World In the mall and purchased a very nice pair of Nine West glasses and a years worth of contacts with no gimmicks.

The men’s bathroom was so disgustingly filthy from weeks of not being cleaned that we left for fear their examination equipment would be just as unclean. Also there were no paper towels and soap dispenser was broken.

The worst! I received 2 pairs of glasses… I called within 24 hrs to let them know I thought they were to strong. They said«give it a week»… After a week still to strong! Went back the«Dr». Said I prob don’t need glasses but since they do not refund they would give me a light script… Just picked up new glasses… SAMESCRPITASFIRSTTIME, no different!!! I will never go back. I’ve been trying to get my prescription from this location for a very long time. I called over 10 times, phone rings and cuts out after two rings. I called from multiple phones. I finally got through to someone who told me they could fax me my prescription, give them my fax number didn’t get anything for three hours. Called back and woman told me I could not get it because it would violate their HIPPA policy. Call back ask for a manager, Adam answers, I expressed to him my frustration regarding not being able to get through to anyone at the Jensen store and that I had been waiting for hours to receive my prescription via fax. He told me that this is the Stuart location, so I ask him to please transfer me because I can’t get through to anyone at Jensen. He then tells me well actually there is only one store for Stuart and Jensen. I guess he thought it be fun to mock me after telling him I had a horrible experience trying to reach them and get my prescription. He finally tells me that I definitely could have gotten my prescription but I would just have to sign a HIPPA release form. By this time I am no longer near a fax so decide to go into the store. They keep me waiting for an hour and told me they lost my prescription because the doctors old-fashioned and does everything manually but that they can offer me another eye exam. I refuse and tell them I want a full refund. So after disappearing for 10 minutes they come back with lo and behold my prescription. This place is a zoo. Rude unprofessional staff. Look like they’re just there to hang out and collect a paycheck. Terrible experience is an understatement.

Free eye exam after you pay $ 29.00 and order your glasses which took 6 weeks to get. Also was lied to about time to come in. After 6 weeks of not haring from them wee finally went in. They do NOT call when glasses are ready. We had gone back to get a copy of the rx so we could fill it elsewhere. Not only were the poly carbonate lenses $ 20 less they told us they were recommended not required as Stanton had sad. Anyway the eye mart turned out to be much less and the service was wonderful. Glasses in 30 minutes not 2 – 6 weeks. I will NEVEr AGAINGOTO sTANTON

Had a 6 pm appointment. I arrived 10 minutes late because of the holiday traffic. I pull into the lot and notice no cars in the parking lot so I thought my tardiness wouldn’t be a big deal. I was wrong. The guy at the counter greeted me with«I doubt we can’t fit you in now that you are 10 minutes late, but I will ask the doctor.» The went in the back and came back about 30 seconds later and said he couldn’t get us on now. And would we like to reschedule? Are you kidding? Hell no! The bottom line is the doctor wanted to make sure the lights were turned out at 7pm, closing time. Not worried about me, the customer so I’m not going to give you another chance to earn my business!

The staton optical sell is a scam, the eye exam is not free. You have to pay upfront $ 45 for the exam and then you’re directed to the display room in order to select your frames. Supposely $ 45 will be deducted from your purchased of the so called $ 69 buy one get one free special offer. What they don’t tell you is that there are only a hand full of unattractive cheap grandma frames under this special offer. They then knowingly allow you to search for hours until you find your selected frames, once found, they inform you that the frames you selected are not part the special offer and each frame cost over $ 150. You are then directed to a small display of about 10 glasses of horrendous frames from uglyland. It is a total rip off.

After seeing the two pair for $ 69 deal I figured I would give it a try. Two pair ended up costing me just under $ 400 and one of them snapped within a week of having them. They have a year warranty but apparently these frames couldn’t be fixed. I was told that part of their warranty covered a replacement for the frames and it did, with an additional $ 55. After picking up my new glasses, which were crooked, the girl at the register bent my glasses and POPPEDTHELENSEINTOPLACE to make them sit correctly on my face. The optometrist was also terribly unprofessional and used more than a few colorful words during the exam. I will never go back here and wouldn’t recommend them.

Ask for Brian, the manager. Quote,” I want to earn your business”. He sure did. I checked out pretty much all the other optical stores. No one treated me with the patience and honest suggestions as Brian did. Two GREAT pair of glasses later, and i’m a happy camper. And I can see. Just go to Stanton and not waste your time shopping around.

I had recently went to Stanton Optical this year and was happy to have an exam right away. The cost was decent for my 2 pairs of glasses with the transition lens due to my bad vision. I also wanted contact and told them I needed it before my wedding this November. When the first trial came in I got one call and came in to try them on and I could feel the lens ready to pop out of my eyes. The Doctor also made a comment of well I knew this brand wouldn’t work for you. So he ordered another trial from another manufacturer. By this time I was busy planning a wedding and again only got one call to say the trial lens are in but by the time I was able to go and get them they had sent them back to the manufacturer. When I asked why they replied they send trial back after 30days. Now a call stating that they do that or when they are about ready to send them back would have been nice. Well they ordered the trials again and said they will be here in 2 weeks. Now 2 weeks goes by no call and it is 3 weeks to my wedding. I spoke to an office manager to see what is going on with my contacts. She stated she will e mail me after she finds out. No e-mail is ever sent so I call back 5 days later and talk to another person that will get to the bottom of things and will let me know in an hour when the manager gets in and I don’t get a call back. I then call back and get well your contacts are on back order. I am so glad I saved some old contacts and they will do for the day of my wedding but needless to say I don’t think I will be going back to Stanton.

I just took advantage of the special Stanton Optical is running to update my look and to get a long overdo eye exam. The showroom is clean and modern and located just in front of the Mall near Panera so it couldn’t be more convenient. They have a ton of frames to choose from although I found there are many duplicates. I also noticed most of the brands are 2nd tier. You won’t find any of the most popular designer names so I’m assuming they don’t carry any of the Luxoticca frames. They have Timbaland, Ebony, CK, Skechers and a bunch of brands I’ve never heard of. I took advantage of the $ 69 special which is advertised to imply you get an eye exam and two pairs for that price. Be prepared to spend much more because the deal actually is a little deceptive. This is how the most most basic package works: For $ 69 you get an in-house eye exam which was quick but thorough. You also get 2 pairs of frames priced at $ 69 or less. There are a few frames in this price point so if you select something different, you pay that price for the package. Now you have to pay an additional $ 139 for the lenses. When this all done they quickly go over the checklist and mark everything as included but in reality they add $ 25 for UV protection and $ 25 for the Hardcoat/Warranty. For bottom price ends up being $ 257. This is a far cry from $ 69. The whole thing is done so smoothly I couldn’t help but think it was a little like watching a short change artist at work. Like many things, most people will just go along with the program because you’ve had the exam and are already there. Besides the marketing deception and poor designer frame selection, the help and showroom are nice.

Recently opened in Stuart and seem to be doing well. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and informative. Great deals going on right now(look at pictures and website). Affordable prices! Located on US1, South of Britt Road, in the same plaza as Panera Bread. Eye exams are available and tons of glasses to choose from! Although, if you are picky like me, I don’t find much of a selection in my taste of glasses here but overall, the location, staff, and prices are really great especially when you mention about the deals they are having so they know are aware of it and you want more information on how to qualify. Anyway, give them a try. Currently there is only one eye doctor at the moment and not a guarantee, but if the traffic increases in their store, in a couple of weeks to a month, there will be a second eye doctor. For women, they carry Fendi and Coach glasses. Also, I believe they take insurance but call to make sure what types of insurance are accepted.
