We have given this establishment so many chances. The service is terrible! We had to wait 45 minutes for our food watching other customers come and go. We Love Steak and Shake but this one needs some new management!

If you’d like to wait in the drive thru for 30 min in the middle of the night for an okay burger, then by all means this is the place to go. Every time I have been here it has taken that long to place an order and to receive my food.

The worst customer service ever. The drive through employees are rude and it takes way to long to get your food. I refuse to come to this place anymore and I live right down the street. I once waited in the dive through line for 30min!!! This place needs better management. I wouldn’t come here if the food was free!!!

SLOW! The servers and cooks didn’t look harried, because they really weren’t trying. People came in and waited 15 minutes to be seated without being acknowledged. Then you wait 45 minutes for the food, then another 20 to pay the bill! The food was good, but the portions were small, especially the kid’s meal. My child eats very little, but even she was still hungry after the mac and cheese dinner.

Food was very good and extremely inexpensive, which was great. My wife and I both got a double cheeseburger with fries and shakes. Our bill totaled at less than $ 20, and then our waitress gave us a coupon bringing our total to $ 12. We will definitely be eating here again.

I’m a big fan of Steak ‘n Shake, so big that I actually got gift cards for Christmas to come enjoy my favorite burgers, although I’m not a big fan of the service, defiantly will take a bullet for a good meal. So far the service it’s slow as usual, BUT ! I’m so exited to eat my burger

Good burger joint. And it’s open 24 hours. Breakfast sandwiches are good as well. They serve a full breakfast until 11:00 am each morning. Prices are good, restaurant appears clean. My kids like all of the milk shake options, the shoestring fries and the chicken strips.
Watch out for the cheese. I ordered a burger with cheddar and received a squirt of their liquid processed cheese. Not good at all. Ask for the shredded Wisconsin cheddar, a much better and far more tasty option.

Very poor service the last time we were there. We only ordered milkshakes and it took over 20 minutes to get them. They sat up in the window and were completely melted by the time we got them. Servers everywhere, but not doing anything to help. Won’t be going again.

Great food. Slowwwwww service. Dirty tables, dirty restrooms. The servers forget items, and they were out of stock on their new burger featured in large print at the top of the menu — an hour before lunch rush.
The burgers are good though, good enough to make my wife and I forget the other stuff and come back every few months.
