I had bad experience dealing with this particular Home Depot. I was overcharged $ 90 on my credit card which was a hassle to get back. When I called Billing Department lady name Christi gave me attitude when I was asking about charges. She seemed very unprofessional and didn’t answer my questions regarding charges. I won’t be buying anything in this Home Depot anymore.

I went to Home Depot today(Saturday) dreading the crowds and most of all the self checkouts. I found the light bulbs I was looking for and was off to the checkout lane when a disabled man(Tim) in a chair working for Home Depot asked me if he could check out my items right there on the spot. I was in shock and so he did! Good for Home Depot hiring the disabled and combined with an exceptional idea!

I called from Texas to see if they had these lanterns there for my daughter’s wedding. Cookie in customer service went out of her way to check on the computer, do a visual, set them aside, and hold them for my friend to come pick up. STELLAR customer service !!

This is a better Home Depot than I have experienced in the past. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly enough so they don’t leave you wandering around too long before they ask if you need help. We ordered our granite through here because the special they had going was way too good. It was measured and installed in two weeks and turned out great. The contractors even found us a piece big enough so we wouldn’t have a seam at a big corner. I know that’s on the contractors, but HD sourced some good ones here. Other than that, I usually end up here for my big box store purchases, so they must be doing something right.

Every time I’ve been in here(and that’s a lot), the staff are always very friendly and happy to help. Knowledgeable too. I actually ordered carpet and had it installed through HD. They were having a fantastic $ 37 whole-house install deal, so I had to go for it. The entire process went smoothly, from picking out the carpet and pad, scheduling the measure, and getting the install done. Sure, my carpet was backordered about 3 weeks, but it was a special order(and it’s not like that was HD’s fault). The install guys(it was contracted out to USIG) were great too. I also ordered custom closet sliding doors through HD. The woman who was at the door + window desk and helped me was soooo patient. I had all sorts of questions and was a bit indecisive, but she stuck it out and happily helped me. Also — they have a one year guarantee on plants! I tried and tried to make one of my many HD plants happy, but it was insistent on dying. So I brought the dead plant back to HD(how embarassing!), and they refunded my credit card.

Although my last review was 100% truthful and accurate, it has, for some reason been filtered(please read the filtered reviews for a summary of my experience at the Stuart Home Depot) by Unilocal.Regarding Home Depot’s response to my Unilocal,I was encouraged by the fact Chris H. stated he would look into the incident, but I never hear back from him. How many times can a customer be mistreated over one single event? As stated in my filtered review, this Home Depot does not stand behind its products, even if they are still under warranty and even if you are a loyal customer.
