Great Labels

Great Labels is the best! Rachel has such great taste, which is awesome but also dangerous because every time I go in there, I find way too many things that I love! lol
My experiences with her have been so nice, and seriously successful!
Whether I’m looking for something appropriate for a work event, or just for fun/​personal engagements, she is so good at remembering what styles/​brands you like (and great prices too– I have found a downright steal on the back racks!)…If you come in somewhat regularly, she’ll recommend things that have come in recently that you might be into.
Seriously can’t say enough about this little gem of a place!

First off– I love the store Great Labels in the Santa Monica location. When they opened in Studio City location– I was over the moon they were so close to my neighborhood!
Everyone whom has provided service has been fantastic and sweet. The one person I want to point out is Cristina at the Great Labels location in Studio City. She is passionate about her work and truly cares for her customers!
I have recently moved across the country– and my opportunity to still shop at Great Labels continues because of her! Her customer service, her attention to the customer needs, style and budget are outstanding. She is one of a kind, and I truly appreciate all my packages I have received here on the East Coast.
My clothes, my style and my career have really been boosted because of the high quality designer clothes they consign. I truly recommend this business, and I only wish that this company would open another location on the East Coast– there is nothing out here in NJ that even slightly compares to your services.

The absolute best! I LOVE Andrea and Rachel, they both have such great taste. Excited that they have this new location in addition to their Santa Monica location.

Stopped by this lovely consignment store on my way to Sara’s Lingerie. The associate was very nice, but not all over you. I bought this lovely designer skirt on the the close out clearance rack. It was originally priced $ 150.00 and I got it for $ 26.00. Major steal! Will be coming back in the future

Great Labels is the best! The consignment process was so easy and they got all my items sold! The employees are so nice and friendly, I can’t wait to bring more items back to sell. Would recommend to anyone, without a doubt 5 stars!

I’ve been a shopper for about 3 years now at both locations and always find tons of amazing deals! I love to shop the sale racks first, I just recently bought a Dolce & Gabbana blouse at the Studio City location for $ 40 and a pair of Pedro Garcia classic pumps for $ 35! They have a good mixture of designers here which is why I can never leave empty handed. I always get compliments on my outfits and friends ask if they can borrow my clothes! This is my first go to place for a new outfit. The girls are also great at helping you find the perfect outfit for any occasion and the store is always very organized. Dressing great! Thanks Great Labels!

Greatly disappointed.
Was visiting friends for Spring Break, they recommended bargain shopping as there are a bunch of resale stores there in Studio City.
Cute store, easy to find/​get to.
Associate working was not on top of you. The brands were just ok. Not great. I was surprised to find lower end brands there actually. The highest end shoes were 30 year old Ferragamos and some more recent Jeffrey Campbells, which are not high end by a long shot.
When I did see the brands I wanted — there were Chanel Shoe boxes and Louboutin shoe boxes on a high shelf, Oh happy day! I asked to see those! I was told the boxes are only for show.
What the heck? Why make it so poignant that you DO NOT have the brands I want?
No high end handbags either. I know the inventory depends on sellers, but still, it is pretty disappointing.
Ugh. Will not be back to this one. Maybe the good things are at the other location.
There are many resale stores in the area, so far the best in Studio City I have found is Wasteland, and that is just ok. The Crossroads Trading is less, but still ok but hard to shop at as the only counter for sellers is the same counter for buyers and lookers.

I am SO upset and shocked that anyone gets away with running a business this way. Brought items in to this store on Friday to consign and I was told I’d receive an email in a couple of days with the prices they want to sell the items at, and if I don’t agree I can pick my things up. All sounds good so far… Wednesday comes around and still no email, I have an offer on one of the items (a pair of $ 500 Dior sunglasses that are now impossible to find/​buy elsewhere in the same color I was selling) that I had also put online to sell. I call (not so) Great Labels to ask about my items as I didn’t receive an email and I would like to request to pick up the sunglasses as I received an offer for $ 250. The girl that answers the phone tells me that they had already started selling my items (without my consent) and the glasses had already sold for $ 50!!! Also they sold a Louis Vuitton Vintage clutch for $ 235!!! Both items are on eBay and tradesy for over $ 400!!! No wonder they sold so fast, GL had under priced them and I NEVER would have agreed to the prices they sold them at (WITHOUT my consent!!) I went to the store and took back all my other items, all the owner could do was apologize and offer me an extra 50 bucks for my glasses so clearly she could even tell they were priced FAR too low! I literally feel sick and robbed, it’s like my belongings were stolen from me! I’m SO SO upset! Oh and by the way when I asked to see the email she supposedly said was «sent to me twice», she was unable to bring it up as it is «automated by the system»… Hmm convenient. Nor did she show me any receipts proving the items were sold for such low prices, in all I know she may have gotten much more (they were certainly worth a hell of a lot more) and pocketed the rest. Who knows!!! This store is just daylight robbery, sellers beware!!!

I JUST walked in the door to my house, hung up my new goodies and grabbed the computer to write a review on this FANTASTIC store.
I have an event next weekend that requires me to wear «cocktail plus». I’m not much of a «cocktail plus» kinda gal. I’m also not a «pay full retail for some snoozy dress that everybody else will be wearing from the mall» kinda gal.
After exhausting my usual Crossroads and Wasteland stomping grounds with no luck, Unilocal led me here.
I walked in and announced that I’m a size 4, need a fancy dress and absolutely cannot pay more than $ 200 for it. Rachel (who is lovely and has REALLY good taste) came around the counter and started pulling dresses for me. I fell in love with a very 70’s disco Balanciaga dress that was priced a bit out of my range and she told me not to worry about that (love her).
I ended up leaving with two dresses, both show stoppers, and paid less than I probably would have paid for some uninteresting mall frock.
I will absolutely be back.

I had such a fun shopping experience at Great Labels today! The staff was so friendly and the manager, Rachel, provided me excellent service. She quickly caught on to the styles/​shapes that flatter my curvy body and brought me gorgeous dresses to try-​on for my friend’s upcoming wedding.
My favorite quality in a salesperson is honesty and working with Rachel felt like I was shopping with a friend – knowing she would never let me buy something that didn’t look fabulous. She also gave me great styling advice and showed me three unique new ways to wear my summer scarves.
I left the store today completely wardrobed for my girlfriend’s wedding weekend, from a cute cocktail dress for the rehearsal dinner to a lightweight colorful maxi for the brunch after the wedding.
I will definitely be back to have Rachel style me for any upcoming event in the future. Or whenever I need a little retail therapy.

This shop is beautifully kept & extremely well organized. They offer very high end items in varying sizes, mostly up to size 8. Truthfully, I found nothing here for myself because my life is not couture. But, if that’s what you’re looking for, this is your lucky spot!

This store is AMAZING! The valley was really missing a WOW resale store. It’s finally here! They have every brand you can imagine! I felt like I was in a small Neiman Marcus! I scored denim and leather Rag&Bone jeans for $ 40.00, an IRO jacket for $ 150.00, and a pair of Louboutins for $ 250.00 with the box and dust bag! Can’t wait to share this new gem with all my friends! The sales girls are very sweet and helpful!
