My favorite thing is the chicken special sandwich. It is so tasty and the food is ready so quick. It is affordable and very filling, so it is the perfect place to quickly stop by at. The croissant with nutella and strawberries is the best dessert. The powdered sugar is a great touch. If you want a place that is affordable and tasty, come here! I definitely recommend!

Charming family owned restaurant. It was crowded at lunch even with 105 degrees in Sherman Oaks. You can tell a lot of local regulars come here. I on the other hand, a traveler from the OC, decided to take the recommendations of my fellow Unilocalers. I was not disappointed! They even have cooling misters on the patio. I thoroughly enjoyed my Chicken Pesto Panini. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. Owner came by the table and chatted. If I lived closer, I too would be a regular.

Solid 4 star establishment that has been around forever. Good chicken pesto panini which is my usual go to but the last time I went I got the Firenze panini– smoked turkey, buffalo mozzarella, tomato and lettuce with a spicy chipotle mayo. It was GOOD. grilled perfectly so all of the ingredients were warm. The mayo was a bit messy but I didn’t mind. This sandwich has a kick to it so be careful if you don’t take well to spice! The salads are always portioned well. Nice patio and outdoor seating. Free valet next door by the bathing suit shop.

Delicious food, gracious service — this place feels like home — but I’m not doing the cooking! Charming atmosphere and inventive menu: You can eat healthfully on a diet, or splurge — it’s all here. I’ll come back again and again!

This place is soo delicious! Everything tastes fresh and nothing ever tastes old or stale. My favorite is the turkey frienzie…(sorry for the misspelling). I always get the nutella croissant whether I’m on a diet or not, its delicious. Besides the yummy food and the cute ambiance, the waiter staff is on point. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. BUT I gotta say Rodrigo, is just a gem. He knows everything on the menu and is super fast and attentive. This place is definitely my go to sandwich place for life!!!

Most amazing panini I’ve ever had! That’s coming from the pickiest food critic ever. I had the grilled chicken breast Sandwitch and the Nutella croissants and both were amazing. The staff is extremely nice and professional. My fave Italian place by far!

Yes yes yes! You want to talk about 5 star flavor, il trem always hits the spot. This specific place I never dine in so this review is for take out only . Every time I call, they are always ready to take orders and are usually ready within 10 – 15 min. Two things I will suggest right off the bat. The grilled chicken sandwich is beyond ridiculous and suggested as well as the cheese bread with the two unbelievably delicious sauces it comes with . One flaw is they don’t have the filo pizza anymore which was one of the best things, but I understand when it’s not in your control . This place is definitely a 5:5 when it comes to food

Il tram is def one of my fav places in studio city! Although the parking is kinda tough, I love their food! Their paninis are great, Alfredo was delicious and I will be going back for their Nutella strawberry panini.

II Tram is one of those restaurants you have to try, just because it’s just one of those restaurants in the valley that is well known. I have been coming here a couple of times a year, not too often for every time I come here the food was okay. Not bad, but not good. Just plain and tasteless. However, the service here was excellent. The people who work here were so nice making sure we were okay, and well taken care of. I continue to make my annual visit to II Tram because I have not given up on them. I continue to choose different menu items to try and convince myself to like something! Parking can be tough, but you will find a spot with street parking. The area is nice, and is a relaxing place to have lunch/dinner. However, being a food lover and a pasta expert, their pasta dishes aren’t exactly the best. But, I still stay hopeful that will change!

Food is good for the valley. But don’t do delivery, who the hell charges 9 $?! You do not Charge a fee if an order is 50 $! Staff is pretty rude I must say & the owner is clueless.

Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich. If I could describe perfection, it would be Il Tram’s Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich. My best friend advised me to get extra pesto sauce on the side, and it was incredibly mouthwatering. The sun dried tomatoes mixed beautifully with Pesto sauce; it was truly a mouthwatering experience. I also ordered the apple gorgonzola salad and I was in awe. The nuts in the salad and the sesame sauce was entirely complimentary. PLUS it was fulfilling! For a light on the stomach yet fullfilling lunch, I would recommend getting a half sandwich with a large salad! Or vice versa… I loved the semi sour apples on the Apple gorgonzola salad because if the apples were too sweet, the true flavors of the salad wouldn’t be as great. My only regret was the fact that our waiter forgot to bring bread with balsamic vinaigrette, but even without that, I devoured my food. Simply writing about Il Tram makes me crave it! I’m not crazy about the service but honestly, with food options so great, I will definitely make an exception.

Today was my first time here, the place is small and cozy and clean, perfect for catching up with friends or to go on a date. It seemed like it’d be such an expensive restaurant, but even the prices were perfect. The staff is super friendly and very quick with everything. Our order came out so fast and the food was so good that I am totally coming back for more soon! Parking is in the back, but I wouldn’t have known of my friend didn’t tell me, there is street parking, but only if you get lucky. Parking was my only small issue. Overall though I had a great experience!

Il Tramezzino is everywhere! I did not know they had a location in Studio City right by my work, and when I found out, I immediately made the trip out here. This café is located on the street, and we had to go around the block to find street parking. I ordered my usual chicken pesto special sandwich and a side of Kettle chips with the pesto sauce. Their food is extremely consistent as the pesto sauce was just as amazing, and the paninis tasted exactly the same. The only difference I had which is a small issue– my panini was still a little cold on the inside so I’m guessing it was in the fridge. Other than that, I love this little Italian café! I’m so glad there’s one right next to work– I know where to go if I need a panini fix!

This place was friggin bomb. My friend introduced me and we stopped by for a late lunch. We ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese and strawberries and the grilled chicken breast sandwich. We split the two between the both of us and the cooks were kind enough to split the salad and the sandwich before serving us. The sandwich was SO good. The basil garlic sauce really pulls the whole thing together. The salad also went well with the sandwich. It was light and refreshing and the goat cheese paired well with the strawberries. We were also served bread with more of the basil garlic sauce. The service was really friendly as well. Always checking on us. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the day and it was so cozy. Not sure if there is a parking lot but I don’t think so. We did street parking and played frogger trying to cross Ventura Blvd to the restaurant. I wasn’t able to try the dessert but according to my friend it’s delicious.

This is the perfect place for reliable low-key Italian food. The service is always on point and there’s plenty of street parking as well as a few spots in their lot. All of the salads are great, my favorite is the Il Tram Chopped which you can alter to exclude or include a plethora of delicious ingredients. The Paninis are always a hit as well. No frills but good food.

Came for a friend’s belated birthday celebration. It’s a sweet little Italian café. Carbs infested. Simple sit down. Food & Drinks: Pasta, sandwiches, salads. They were good but nothing too exciting. Their marinara to pasta ratio isn’t the best. Set-up & Service: Like I said, it’s a little intimate café which is nice. One of the girls made reservations for our party but they were pretty empty on a Friday evening. The food came out fast which was good. As for the waiters, they were a bit rude. They gave attitude towards one of the guests in our party because they were rushing to bus the table but everyone was catching up with each other, so the guy in our party didn’t hear the waiter when being asked for his plate. When they were bussing the table. I don’t know if it was a long day or they just weren’t up for dealing with a party but they were clearing the table out very hastily where my friend and I got hit/bumped at least once each as they were passing through picking up dishes. Too much invasion of personal space & too much attitude from the waiter alone. There’s plenty of better Italian cafes left to try. Not planning to revisit.

I haven’t actually been to the restaurant to eat, but I have ordered takeout! This past weekend it was raining and I was in desperate need of some comfort food. I wanted to order from Postmates and this place was on the $ 5 delivery fee list. They have a large menu of grilled sandwiches(panini’s). Like it took me a good 20 minutes to decide on The Sicilian(mozzarella, tomatoes, avocado, arugula, and pesto), which turned out to be an amazing choice! The sandwiches are pretty pricey at $ 11, plus tip. It turned out to be quite large though. I was able to eat half for lunch and half for dinner. Honestly could have been the best sandwich I ever ate. The cheese was so authentic and amazing. Overall I would order from this restaurant again, or more likely go in and see how the atmosphere is. But it’s just too pricey to make my «go-to» sandwich place(sad to say).
