When I almost gave up on the idea of finding a good hairstylist I came across Nareh at Trim a salon and I will forever be loyal to her. Not only does she work magic on my hair but she educates me on hair, and how to keep it healthy and looking less damaged. Im so happy with her service and how well she understands exactly what I want when it comes to my hair. Many hairstylist don’t listen to what the customer wants but Nareh is so attentive and does everything so that I leave satisfied. I went in with damaged black dyed hair and with her regular hair cuts, trims, and hair coloring my hair looks better than ever.

Dani is gorgeous, super sweet and knows her shi*@t when it comes to color. Plus, the color she uses doesn’t have harsh chemicals. I’ve been to other salons and they do a good job, but it takes days to get that chemical smell out of your hair. I love her products (and so does my hair)! If you need help with color, go see her. She’s a master colorist.

Not only is Nareh extremely talented at her craft, but she is lovely to work with and passionate about creating what her client dreams of. I think we all want the hair stylist that makes it a point to listen to what we have in mind and cares enough to create what we’ve envisioned. I got lucky and found one!!! I had an amazing hair cut & color experience with Nareh and I know I’ll be going back to see her again. Thank you!!!

I have been going to Frida for all of my hair adventures. I trust her to dye my hair silver and to chop it all off. She is willing and confident to try anything with me!

Vanessa is a hair genius! I had 2 previous dye jobs from another salon that resulted in patchy, unnatural color. And my hair was so grown out and lifeless I was throwing it up in a ponytail every day. I booked a cut with Vanessa and literally received the BEST haircut. Ever. I’ve never cut my hair shorter than mid back and she cut it to around shoulder length which has accidentally happened before and I cried for days. But I absolutely loved it! The layers were so bouncy and apparent! Her blowout is to die for and my fiancée couldn’t stop saying how beautiful, chic and mature it looked. I went back the following week to fix my color and again, she totally worked her magic. My hair color is so much more natural and it just all blends and melts together. Prices here are a bit more expensive here than my hometown Michigan salons but her work is just too good.

They made me feel and look like a star! I highly recommend this amazing salon!

I LOVE this hair salon! I have been going to Dani for many, many years (1996 to be exact) and she always makes my hair look amazing! She is honest about what will look best and is a master with color.

I battled cancer last year and lost all my hair. She shaved my head when it was «time» and made growing my hair back out really wonderful (which I desperately needed). I am truly grateful for her knowledge and expertise.

I moved to LA last year and was looking for a new hair stylist and am SO glad I found Nareh. I presented her with quite a challenge — getting a box dyed red color out of my hair (multiple shades of red too) and going light brown/​blonde. She did such an amazing job. Nareh is so confident in what she does, that I trust her judgment every time I go see her. Highly recommend!

I have been getting hair extensions for a long time. Dani is by far the BEST at applying hair extensions! My hair looks and feels so real and amazing! I absolutely love Vanessa. I told her she didn’t have a choice as to whether or not we are now a thing. She took her time, and really got my color and cut perfect. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got in one day and from men included so you know it had to be something for them to notice. She took me next day and went from brown to a sandy blonde. She’s a gem and so talented!
The salon is cute and comfortable. Plus they carry Kevin Murphy products. The only thing out of all of the positives is I had mentioned I found them on Unilocal after looking for a good Aveda salon and they didn’t give me the 10% off products promo and I bought a few hundred dollars worth. But that’s really my responsibility to ask for so definitely won’t hold it against them.

I have had Lisa cut my year for about 10 years now and I followed her to this salon when she moved about two years ago. I would follow her anywhere (within reason) — there are closer salons in my Chatsworth area, but Lisa gives a fantastic hair cut and knows her color. I am always getting compliments on my hairstyle and color.

I’ve been anticipating getting my hair done for a really long time, but due to my busy schedule, I wasn’t able to find a great stylist. A coworker of mine came to work one day with beautiful, dyed hair and I immediately asked her who her hair stylist was. She recommended Nareh and it was truly the best recommendation.
Nareh’s hands are made of gold. She has a great eye for colors that compliment your skin color. She is the only hair stylist I’ve been to that’s done EXACTLY what I asked her to do. Whether it was her cut or balayage, she did a flawless job. Nareh is a perfectionist and strives to perfect her work. She is the first stylist who’s work and service I’ve been completely proud of. Where have you been all my life, Nareh?!
The salon she works at is nicely decorated. I adore being there! The rolling stone quote on the wall and the pictures nezt to it are stylist and complimentary. Parking is street parking: metered if you want to park close and free if you park a few streets down. Metered parking is 2 hours, which can be annoying when you’re getting your hair done for 2+ hours. However, Nareh has offered to fill my meter while I waited with treatment in my hair. Not only is Nareh a true professional, she is also a sweet, caring, passionate, and wonderful human being I am happy to call my hair stylist. She is worth every penny! I can not wait for my hair to be back in her hands!

So I called to book an appointment for this week on Monday. They told me Thursday (today) 5pm. I’m thinking okay great.
I glanced at the confirmation email today to see the directions for where they are located as its in a tricky spot. I rush over there during rush hour after another appointment runs late, and walk in at 5:10. Tell them I have an appointment. Much to my surprise it wasn’t for a few weeks later when I clearly stated on the phone this week — I wouldn’t of booked the appointment otherwise as I wanted it trimmed for this weekend. The woman who answered my phone call earlier this week said «okay see you Thursday».
The woman at the desk tried to help me tonight and said the stylist who was supposed to cut my hair had left, and the other stylist would be available in 30 minutes, I couldn’t wait that long. My last option was to see the owner who is more expensive. As an individual on a budget I knew I couldn’t do that. The right thing to do would of been to offer me a hair cut by the owner at the rate of the other stylist.
I’m so bummed because I thought maybe I’d finally find a salon after living in LA for a year and a half and a bad haircut. Apparently not. I’m not going to have my hair done by a salon who can’t tell me the right date, I understand human error happens what I don’t understand is how it was handled. I’m sure they are great stylists but if you have a potential new client there for their first cut and your team messed up, you should be bending over backwards to make it right.

I love going to Genevieve! She’s the best! My cut and color are always spot on and she gives an wonderful scalp massage with the shampoo.
She’s been doing my hair for over 4 years, 3 – 4 times a year – I fly in from North Carolina to visit my kids and get my hair done.
The amazing thing is that her cuts are so good that as my hair grows out, it’s shape is still attractive and easy to style.
It’s so nice to just come into the salon and relax because I know she will make me look my best!

Trim is great and so are the people that work there! I’ve been going to Dani for years, she’s always excited to experiment with new styles and colors. I love doing a before and after photo to compare style and cut. My hair is always soft and healthy with the products she uses. Dani is the best, she makes me look my very best!

I go to Nareh & she does a fantastic job. She’s a hard worker with a great attitude and always cares about her clients’ comfort. I will forever say this: she has magic hands. Always happy with the results. Very talented. Thanks Nar!

I was looking for a hair stylist with extremely talented hands to color my virgin hair. Thank goodness I found Nareh. She was so sweet and communicated with me every step of the way. I loved how she asked me if I had any hair difficulties or qualities like dryness, frizz that I wanted to change and gave me suggestions on how to treat them. I was never nervous, as her Instagram @nareh.kh is proof enough how talented she is.
This salon is in a gorgeous part of town with a quaint and kind atmosphere. Every stylist working there was courteous and friendly. I will definitely have Trim as my regular salon, even coming from Orange County. GO HERE! And go to the amazing Nareh!

Dani is the only person I trust to do anything to my hair now… Two bad dye jobs and a frightening cut made me keep my hair in a bun for two weeks. I told dani my concerns and what I wanted long-​term… She listened to me and went to work. She’s the definition of a professional; took pride in her work, put me at ease and took such good care of me and my poor hair. So happy I don’t have to look for my go-​to hair lady anymore… Found her!

I’ve always gone to Nareh for my hair because she has serious talent, especially when it comes to layers and highlights/​balayage, but I had never been to Trim before. The salon is located in one of my favorite areas for shopping and going out to eat. I also loved how it’s tucked into its own little area. The products they use smell great and overall I had a great experience!
