Pepe’s offers up a decent NY style pie, greasy, floppy, and packed with flavor. It’s the closest thing to New York style I’ve been able to find in LA. It also helps that they are open late and have a wide delivery radius, so they’re perfect for those times when you get a 2am craving for pizza.
The standard pepperoni is quite good, though sometimes a little inconsistent. The aforementioned grease can get the box quite soggy at times, which might be a turnoff for some.
The sandwiches are decent, but not the main attraction, and the wings are big and full of flavor, though also greasy.
The specialty pizzas do a fine job, and the lasagna pizza is a standout, though I still prefer to keep it simple when ordering from Pepe’s.
All in all, Pepe’s is a good value, with quick and accurate ordering and delivery. It’s not fancy, and it’s not super healthy, but with their hours and delivery, it’s just what you need when you need it. Recommended.

UPDATE: I have to go back and give another review to this place because of the outstanding service I just got. I recently returned from a month-​long trip in Africa. I was jetlagged and exhausted and desperate for a delicious pizza. I called this beautiful miracle of a restaurant and talked to a gentleman named Brendan. He helped me, with incredible patience, figure out the most perfect pizza to order that would help me celebrate my homecoming. His general excitement and gratitude for my business made me so excited to buy the pizza and so excited to buy many many more. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Everything is top bar and that pizza lasted me for two glorious days

It was my first time ordering online and it was a great experience, I got my food delivered just 12 mins after I ordered it, it was freshly made and the way I ordered it! The delivery person was extremely friendly. it was a great experience over all! Highly recommended

Great, NY style pizza close to Universal Studios. The place doesnt look like much from the outside, but the restautant was very clean, the staff were friendly and courteous and the pizza was crisp, tasty and delicious. Pizza is available by the slice or whole pies. Wings were tasty (baked) and wing sauce was spicy-​perfection. No frills, but great pizza.

Peeps pizza is awesome! They have a great selection of food to choose from and you can’t beat the price! They deliver to the Hilton universal hotel which made it easy for us since we didn’t rent a car. We will definitely order from them the next time we’re in LA. Aloha from Hawaii

This little pizzeria is great! They have so many pizzas to choose from it was difficult for us to make a decision. We ended up getting the BBQ chicken pizza and it was to die for. We got an order of spaghetti for the kids. The portion was so large that both my kids had full tummies & there was still some left over! They offer free delivery which is a plus, we didn’t need it but it’s anyways good to know! Highly recommend!

Had the munchies after a night of drinking and found this spot next to our air bnb that delivers til 3 am! We ordered half margarita and half chicken, pesto, mushrooms, onions, green peppers. It came hot and fresh with plenty of toppings. I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving some good NY style pizza.

Walked in the door and was immediately greeted by the staff, who talked to me like I was a friend! Super friendly and super tasty pizza! Reminded me of getting a slice of pizza in NYC, but much tastier! Thin crust and tasty toppings. I’ll be eating there again before I leave town. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something cheap and quick!

pizza snob here! I loved it!!! I got the veggie pizza. I liked that the business delivered to hollywood and until 11pm. The veggie’s were fresh and the crust was good. I did reheat a couple of slices the next day in the oven and it was a lot better! The dough was crispier. That’s why I deducted 1 star, it could have been cooked just a bit longer. I would order again from them and recommend them to anyone!

These guys are my go-​to for pizza delivery. The pizzas are nice and big, and remind me of the east coast. Good quality cheese and good selection of toppings. Only thing is that toppings can be pricy on large pizzas ($ 3 each topping).

The first tome was OK (just OK). But they served by the slice and delivered that, which I thought was awesome. They don’t have meat salad (antipasto) which I thought was weird and I was craving it.
The pizza was just OK the first time. But the second time, today, it was cardboardy, burnt, crunchy crust. It’s really hard to ruin pizza, But they succeeded in that. It’s too bad. It made me sad…

I love this place. The pizza is delicious — thin crust, fresh cheese, nicely seasoned sauce. They deliver on time and the food is always made well. I placed a large catering order not long ago and everything arrived as scheduled, hot and fresh. I only thing I don’t love is the sliced sausage topping; I personally prefer the crumbed kind. But that small gripe isn’t worth deducting a star. Try Pepe’s if you haven’t yet; it’s great!

Such great service and pizza. Cannot say enough good things about this place. And the fact that they are open late night is a huge plus. We ordered at 230am on a Friday night, and our pizza promptly arrived hot and fresh at my doorstep at 3am. The quality is really good too, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely check this place out if you’re craving that NY style thin crust pizza, it’s delish and will now be our go-​to late-​night pizza joint! Thank you Pepe’s for your outstanding service!
