Once you get into it, you’ll realize that this kind of training is much more relevant to how you’ll need and use your strength every day. Life is not an elliptical machine, but short and intense challenges that call you to find resources you didn’t know you had. That’s what you’ll feel in every session at Pure Strength. If you have been up to date on any of the latest sports science, read the 4 hour body, or heard of «super slow sets» just stop reading this review and call for your appointment. This IS what you are looking for, and the only place I’ve found that understands the principles of scientifically proven muscle development, weight loss, injury prevention, and body health. I saw massive changes to my figure after only a handful of sessions. I am now a model booking(blush) bikini gigs, and just did a semi-nude shoot for an artist’s gallery show opening in Milan. My career, and my man, are both very happy with my results. :)

I purchased the Living Social deal for 10 classes. Due to the limited schedule I was only able to attend about 4 but I think I got the idea. The workout itself is intense and I appreciate the idea behind it. The super-slow method does work but I feel after the first couple of classes I can challenge myself the same at my local gym facility. What I did not like was the schedule in place for the Living Social deal. You don’t find out untilyou attend the introductory session that the recipients of the deal are limited to 3 days per week and for an openperiod of 90 minutes on that dayplus the times aren’t exactly convenient if you work so I was only able to make the Saturday option from 12p-1:30pm thus not being able to even get to my 10 class limit. I think it would’ve been a great option to notify customers in the deal offering of the days/times available. If this had been the case I probably would not have purchased knowing my schedule was not as flexible.

I just had my first workout with Melissa Gun.. .and oh WOW was it awesome! I have been fortunate to work out with the best of the best and over the last fifteen year, I achieved tremendous results in loosing weight and reshaping my body, I even ran a ½ marathon but nothing prepared me for the workout I had today. Less«IS» more, in 20 minutes with Melissa my whole body has just the right amount of fatigue and soreness, it feels as though I went to a kickboxing class AND did an hour of weight training. I had heard amazing raves and reviews, and seen first hand results in person about the slow strength training technique. It got my curiosity sparked as I try to tackle the battle of the bulge over the next ten weeks and signed up for a package of sessions. This is a genius workout! Melissa and her two trainers explained the technique in detailed perfection, answered all my questions and set my mind at ease.…but even then I wasn’t sure what I was in for, it wasn’t until I actually jumped on the machine and got started that I realized this was going to be the key to my loosing weight and getting ripped for the upcoming summer season. I expect great results and will update in ten weeks. My family owns a well known Pilates studios, and I am an avid Bikram practitioner but Pure Strength is where it’s at if you want to get buff fast. The private gym is convenient to get to, free validated parking, clean and the vivacious encouragement given every minute was engaging and has got me excited for my next work out!. .…and it’s a whole week away. I am so excited that I took a chance on this inventive form of strength training. I would encourage everyone to do something wonderful for your body and spirit and treat your self to the introductory class and experience slow strength training for your self, I know you wont be disappointed and after all when you consider the price you would pay for your health, you realize this is priceless :)

My first session with Melinda, one of the trainers here, was awesome. She is really friendly and supportive. She did a great job explaining everything to me and I really felt like I got a major workout afterwards. The good thing about this technique is you only go like once or twice a week for 20 minutes at a time which is great if you have a busy schedule which means no more being a slave to the gym!

Amazing private fitness! You kind of have to see it to believe it… this is the slow burn technique. Each work out is about 20 minutes and you only go once a week. And, oh my gosh, do you see results!!! Over a year’s time, I lost 11 pounds and 3% points on my body fat. Not only is the workout amazing but Melissa, the owner, is really great. She is really nice and fun to work out with, but pushes you really hard so you see the results. For anyone looking to switch to a new trainer, or try something for the first time, I HIGHLY recommend PureStrength.
