Tried this place for the first time and boy, do I regret it. I ordered their Lo Mein and house Fried Rice. The Lo Mein was completely bland and the house Fried Rice was a gummy ball of rice with zero flavor. Will NEVER order from them again. NOTWORTHTHEPRICE!!!

We were disappointed with our meal and won’t be ordering from Green Apple again. We ordered beef and broccoli and the beef was rubbery, almost impossible to chew. The vegetable soup was bland and they didn’t even bother cutting up the vegetables. The egg rolls were deep fried and the batter was thick and brown. Unappetizing from start to finish. On a positive note, their online order site is very easy to use and the delivery was prompt.

Yum. Green Apple is exactly what it looks like — a nice Chinese restaurant that seems to use good quality ingredients to make good, clean Chinese. The Har Gaw(shrimp appetizer) is a favorite, but virtually everything is tasty, reasonably priced, and served in just the right quantity. There is free valet parking in the back, and service is appropriately fast. Overall, we’ve gone seven or eight times now, and we have always been pleased. A solid Chinese food option.

The food here is very good. All the traditional Chinese dishes you would expect with some surprises as well, a new flare on Chinese food. We just had dinner for 9 people, bill was about $ 120 with tip and we have left overs, yum. The mango salad is really good, I have not had anything that I have not liked as of yet. The portions are a good size, great for family style sharing, love the tea! The staff are nice and will accommodate special requests, if you want it spicy or mild, just ask. Service is great, they come around filling drinks and attending to your party. I would give it 5 stars, but the one con with the place is that it is fairly small, if you have a big group and don’t make a reservation you will probably have to wait for some time. Other than that, everything is great about this place. Recommended.

Amazing food quality. First time here and it did not disappoint me. I got the heaven chicken it was amazing seasoning very mouth watering, also got the filet mignon it was amazing best steak I have ever had it was so tender it melted in my mouth and it was so flavorful. This place has been here for 5years already and I’ve been missing out.

Came here because my wife and I wanted to do the«Jewish Christmas Thing». Chinese food on Xmas Eve… It was a freaking mazing. I did carry out, and I was blown away by the quality, flavor, and taste. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

Horrible, horrible inexcusable and unapologetic«service.» I wish I could take back giving them my money but, alas, I cannot. Feeling an urge for Chinese, my friend and I wandered into this establishment based on the reviews and were seated around 6:30 on Saturday night. The male waiter comes by and asks if we would like to order immediately; I tell him we are still checking out the menu but would like the New York Egg Rolls as an appetizer. 20 minutes later, we’re still looking at an empty table and we haven’t even ordered our main course. After another ten minutes, he comes to take our orders: Heaven Chicken for me, Sweet and Pungent Chicken for my friend. He exits — still no egg rolls. Ten more minutes pass and two bloated egg rolls hit our table; one minute later, my Heaven Chicken and a huge crock of brown rice come out — but no pungent chicken. As a courtesy to my friend, I wait. Ten minutes pass, my dinner’s cold, my friend’s dish is still MIA. The non-existent waiter walks by and I tell him it’s been ten minutes and my friend’s dish is still not here. He nods like I just gave him a milkbone and walks to the kitchen. Five more minutes pass and I ask for the manager — he comes over and I tell him my dinner has been sitting on the table for fifteen minutes and my friend’s has still yet to be seen. He asks what he ordered, and disappears into the kitchen — for five more minutes. My friend’s dish finally comes out and I tell them mine is cold. They thank me for telling them my dinner is cold and run back to the kitchen, where I can only guess they huddle there multiple times nightly to laugh at their gullible and expendable patrons. We eat our meals(the pungent chicken, though aged, was good. The heaven chicken was fair) and the check came without apology or incident — and no discount. Full price for everything including the disgraceful service. Luckily, I had cash and went to pay the bill; a tip was not included, not even the $ 0.13 in spare change that rattled onto the table. No sir, you are not even worth $ 0.13. Your restaurant is a disgrace and my only hope is that you’re out of business and boarded up before the 4th of July. Los Angeles, you deserve better — go somewhere else. Your time and patronage is far from respected here and they will have no problem reminding you of that throughout your one(and hopefully) only visit.

I think I found a new regular spot to eat one of my favorite foods! Chinese! Had dinner here the other night and it was really good. As soon as were seated, a pot of hot green tea was placed on our table. I was so excited, I knew it was going to be good and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered chicken eggs, barbecue pork slices and pan fried chicken dumplings. The egg were very tasty, the cabbage inside was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dumplings were also cooked perfectly and so delicious. The food is served family style and the portion sizes are huge though I’m sure I saw combination plates on the menu but For dinner we ordered house fried rice, miso salmon, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken. The rice had huge pieces of beef, pork, chicken and shrimp that were all tender and the rice was also cooked and seasoned very well. The salmon came with a side of asparagus drizzled with the miso sauce, I was in fish heaven. The orange chicken was served with steam rice, was crisp on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside and came with the right amount of sauce and orange flavor. The beef in the beef and broccoli was so tender and nothing was salty or overcooked but there was one item that we sent back and that was the barbecue pork slices, they were very tough and chewy — the flavor was spot on but it just wasn’t done. Other than that, it was a perfect meal and I will be returning to this place. Oh and they are reasonably priced. Dinner was $ 54. Let me just say the next day the leftovers were just as good, you couldn’t possibly think I eat all of this food I order lol

Very tasty healthy Chinese, we used their delivery services for 2 years and couldn’t be happier. It is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. Getting some of this food tonight!

Pretty good place… The chicken dumplings here are sooooooooooo good here! I usually get two orders of it! They deliver as well… I’ve had the kung pao chicken and shrimp, orange chicken and some of the soups… Service can be slow especially for delivery can take up to 40 min locally… The parking is tricky if dining there… It usually fills up quickly since it’s a super small structure and it’s in a busy part of Studio City so street parking can be hard.

I used to love going here but the SERVICE sucks now. Below are accounts of my last two experiences at Green Apple and why we will NEVERGOBACKHEREAGAIN! We put our names down after the hostess said there will be a 10 min wait. After 30 mins, they sat several parties that came after us. After 15 mins, we noticed another party sit before us even though they had just arrived 20 mins after us. When we asked what was going on, the owner said they had called to reserve. Not true because we had called to make reservations and the hostess said they do not take reservations. Not to mention, we clearly saw the hostess write their names down after our names and saw several parties crossed off beneath our names on the list, so there were no reservations made. Speaking of the hostesses, they always have 2 – 3 that stand there and do ABSOLUTELYNOTHING. The tables were empty and waiting to be cleaned and these girls just stood there watching and waiting until someone else came to clean it. We left immediately because the owner and hostesses were rude. The other time I was here, we placed an order for eggplant, noodles, and fried rice. The eggplant came out first, then 30 mins later the noodles came out, and then 15 mins after that we received the BURNT fried rice. So sad and disappointed at how poor the service has gotten. Never going back here again.

Average at Best. Flavors were not great at all. Decent food. In no way what I expect for $ 10 an item. No ambience. Egg shells in my in my fried rice too. Nice service though.

This is the go-to Chinese Food deliver restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. I actually placed a Pick-up order so I could say, «Hello» to the staff who are always friendly on the phone even when I know they are slammed with people dinning in. It really felt like a comfortable neighbor spot. Things I LOVE here are as follows: Pineapple Curry Fried Rice… it’s curry used lightly to balance and excite flavors Orange Chicken… crispy, chewy, tangy, juicy with a little itty-bitty kick! Chicken Lettuce Wraps… what you expect, but these have more love Lemon Scallops… didn’t expect that did you?! I’ve had them twice… but try at your own risk. On the Delivery/Take-out roster, everyone needs a tasty, dependable Chinese Food restaurant. This is mine. OOOOHHHH! If you order over the phone, ask about any daily specials. There are things written on the board that don’t make it to the online menu.

Love this place! It’s everything you want in an American Chinese Food restaurant, with great service, timely pick up, and delicious food. A little pricy, but worth it. Great for dine-in or takeout.

Came here on Christmas because that’s what a Jewish girl from LA does. Delicious! Service was like a well oiled machine. We had egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and beef Lo mein. Complimentary green tea was hot and inviting on this crisp day. The lo mein was flawless. Not too salty, just the right amount of beef to noodle ratio. The sweet and sour chicken was very good as well. Dinner and dessert all in one. Sweet and savory. Very happy with the food and service.

Cute restaurant, easy parking, large menu. The food was very good(not earth shatteringly great, but very good — I am really picky about my Chinese Food.). They have many good choices and I like how you can get different sizes of their dishes. And you can order Dim Sum! That’s a huge bonus in my book. i was neither super impressed or disappointed… try it!

Simple and comfortable ambiance with very effective personnel are the first things you notice, the tasty dishes are what make you want to comeback! Me and friend Paul shared a small shrimp in lobster sauce, a small sweet n sour pork, and a chicken n vegetables. All very special! The lobster sauce was not«fishy», the pork was lean and crispy with a special taste of sweet n sour. The chicken dish included lots of sliced chicken. Parking validation included. I only give 5 star ratings after I’ve been there 5 times. The menu and this experience will definitely bring me back.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food when I don’t want to feel bloated and sad after I eat. I generally get the lemon shrimp, which comes with a sweet and sour sauce and a side of rice. My partner gets the vegetable soup and an order of steamed vegetables. We also get the steamed bao(which is good enough). I can’t attest to the other items on the menu, but I do like the wide variety of items offered. The food that I eat isn’t greasy, which makes my tummy happy. Customer service there is always polite, for both dine-in and carryout. Parking: If you’re just picking up food, there is some curb space located around the corner(near Jamba juice) where it’s a loading area. If you plan on staying for dinner, there’s a dedicated parking structure underground of this shopping complex. I think it’s $ 2 for parking, but I can’t remember if it’s cash only.

Great Chinese food! Not bad prices for a nice sit-down restaurant either! The menu is endless, there is definitely something for everyone. It is never too noisy, which is nice, and not really ever too crowded, which is shocking because their food is really good! If you are in the area and craving a nice sit down Chinese restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
