DEFINATELY a hidden gem! Wow so impressed with the food and entertainment. I’ve passed by for years. The night I went there was a burlesque show, AND a comedy show. odd mix but they presented very well.

Very cool place. Nice and chill. If you want to listen to good music, and have good drinks this is the place to go. There is a dance floor and pool table if you don’t want to just sit and socialize.

You have to try Serra’s.The food is incredible, the staff is nice and attentive. They have international-​greek-​israeli, r&b, soul, Latin, motown, jazz, samba and other amazing live music nights and on the weekends also best dj in town.

The food was really good. I was recommended to get a salad with chicken and olives that I don’t think is normally on the menu. I haven’t experienced the nightclub aspect of this place so I can’t attest to that.

I don’t understand why there are a couple bad reviews, but that is everyone and their own personal experience. As for myself, and the whole crowd I have went here with have completely amazing things to say about this place! There is so much diversity, and an impeccable time will be spent if you’re there with people you adore. The staff is amazing, and the owner Serra and her brother are wonderful. Very kind and generous people. They speak with their guests and even get down and party at times as well. Excellent place located in Studio City.

I guess this place is alright. I went here for a friends bday dinner. I wouldn’t go back. The service is alright. There are a lot of old people. The music is okay. The food not so much. There are creepy masks on the wall.

Serra’s is a wonderful jewel in Studio city! The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is wonderful! I’ve always enjoyed my time there! And they have some wonderful live entertainment as well! I highly recommend it!

Never ever go here! Worst Service ever! I just called to speak to the manager. She wasn’t available so, I asked if I can have her contacts. She said no and started getting upset and asked me if I was selling something to which I replied no. Then the person on the phone wouldn’t give me her name and was yelling in a total Alpha she-​male kind of voice and had a weird accent and was yelling at me and telling me off like an absolute crazy person. I repeat never go here, if this is how they treat customers on the phone then this place must have the worst service ever!

Weirdest experience of my life. Went in on a Saturday night and they were playing Arabic house music. There were only a few older people which looked like they were having fun, but isn’t the place for young adults and such as advertised. They also had golden girls screening on a giant TV in front of the dance floor. Strange.

The inside is beautiful nice ambiance music is great… Downfall is you can’t smoke hookah inside and they don’t have much variety, patio has no heaters… Great for private parties!

Came here to see a group sing/​play and the place is rather tiny. Pics were a bit deceiving, and they over sold tixs to event. Drinks weren’t bad, but food was horrible. My boyfriend orders fish & chips, and they looked as if they just poured the two time fish sticks out the Gordon’s fish stick bag, and they had the nerve to be $ 14.95. I had the lamb chops & they were mediocre, but definitely better then those measly fish stick he had. They were $ 18.95 and definitely not worth the money. The service was super slow. If I do venture back to this establishment I’ll make sure to eat first since the foods leaves a lot to be desired.

I normally do not write reviews but after reading all these negative reviews of this place, I want to add my 2 cents. I had the pleasure of being invited to the opening night of the Butter Entertainment Show. When I walked in I thought the ambiance was beautifully cozy and sexy. The drinks were fairly priced for the valley and that’s good anyone who thinks $ 10 is high for a drink in the valley must ONLY drink at home… as for the staff very friendly, got drinks in a good turnaround time. Serra the owner is extremely a beautiful person! Very sweet and attentive to people who had been visiting for the 1^st time. I will be going back on Monday to see the show again!!! Yes, I really like this place thinking of having my Birthday party here!!!

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews cause I completely disagree. We honestly use Serra’s Dining and Dance as our venue for our Exotic Male Dance night. And the service and bar and food are great. We’ve already done several shows and have only gotten good compliments on service and so forth. We use all her in house service as far as waiters and bartenders and there all great. And we have nothing but compliments from our clients. I think a lot of outside people use her venue and those are the people that are unprofessional and negative.
The owner Serra is an absolute sweetheart. There is nothing negative I could say about her. She gives her 100% to keep this club going.

I’ve been coming to this place for many years and I always leave very satisfied. You will not find another spot, especially in the valley, with such diversity as you find on a Saturday night at Serra’s. The music variety is amazing. You will hear MANY different languages of the most current international hits. English, Spanish, Greek, French, Turkish, Armenian, Arabic, etc. to name just a few.
The crowd is mixed and the dance floor is packed every weekend. Great spot for a fun night in the valley.

Bad service bad drinks bad music bad bad bad bad I hope I made myself clear I will never come back here

I don’t usually do this but this place is seriously horrible!
Came here for a friends birthday and will NEVER return.
Smells bad, drinks are way too expensive, food is disgusting and the crowd is just a MESS! I wish I can give this place zero stars. Really embarrassing to the middle eastern culture.

I am rather taken aback at the negative image Serra has garnered intself. It does appear the service is awful, food bad, the place dusty and the outside patio too noisy (common themes in these reviews)
A neighbor of mine, who happens to contract through Serra, informed me of this place and I was researching for some useful Unilocal info. to guide my first visit. And now the website…
This site has more grammatical and spelling errors than any website I’m familiar with. It projects a poor image of what — per the photos — appears to be an upscale and well-​frequented nightclub. However, looks may be misleading (read other reviews)
I’m very much into eclectic and EOE themes and performaces and was interested in attending one of the ‘alternative shows’ performed there. However, the reviews (and said website) have me feeling that if I go I’ll be harrassed, taken for my money, sneezing with itchy watery eyes, and deaf by the time I’m done.
…hmmm…don’t think so!
If one (1) …JUST ONE… positive review makes it on Unilocal,I’ll give the place a chance. Till then, clean up your website and stop pretending that one or two busy nights (as observed in photos) consititutes a successful venue. Do what it takes to earn positive reviews, even if it means firing some staff and hiring better ones, or turning to a better cleaning crew with vaccums and feather dusters.
And one more thing — I don’t drink, so free water and/​or soda is appreciated by those of us who are relegated to driving home those you do squeeze for exorbitantly priced libations — maybe ‘not your problem’ but is a gesture of ‘good business etiquette.’

Hole in the wall and not in a good way. It smelled a little funny and was overpriced. By overpriced I mean 10 bucks for what was basically a shot. The service was so so and the waitress didn’t bring me my ranch dip until I was done with my fries which by the way tasted like the cheap frozen 99 cent store variety.
