I’m part Italian, so that makes me an italian food snob(I’m told). Sinopoli’s never fails me; it reminds me of my nonna’s cooking. This is a little whole in the wall in a strip mall and getting a table is easy. The service is personal, intimate and the food is tasty. I’m told the recipes are the owners mothers… so you know it’s authentic and good. I come for the spagetti and meatballs… never fails me; DELICIOUS! If you want a quick, authentic bite of italian food… there is usually plenty of parking… come try Sinopoli’s!

Just had fabulous spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Delicious, as was my friend’s lasagna. Both dishes devoured immediately! And the broccoli was perfect. And they serve wine Service very very attentive

Very disappointing. I went in with my boyfriend and we were the only customers there. The waitress was awful, and made a mistake with my order which I thought was so surprising considering we were her only customers. My boyfriend ordered a salad which was ok. I had the spaghetti and meatballs … The food was so plain and had no flavor. I felt that I paid over $ 30 for bad service and descent food I could have gotten for way cheap at a random pizza joint. I most definitely won’t be back.

Popped in to this little gem with a co worker today. So surprised to find such a charming, secluded spot that has the added benefit of warm, welcoming owners and delicious food! I had a simple Margherita pizza and oh man was it the perfect thing. It sounds like hokey crap but you can taste the difference when care is put into something and I felt it in spades. This place has a lot of love to give at very reasonable prices. And if you can’t like that, well then what can you enjoy? Will absolutely be back.

This is our second time ordering from Sinopoli’s. The first time we had it delivered. The food came quickly, was hot and oh so good. The delivery driver was very nice as well. I love supporting local businesses and this place makes it easy. Tonight my husband ordered and picked up. The experience was equally great. The food is amazing. We’ve ordered Spaghetti with meat sauce and marinara, meatballs, Fettucini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesan. ALL Amazing. The Alfredo is my favorite. We’ve been on the hunt for great italian food in our neighborhood that is not a chain and not ridiculously expensive and we are so happy to have come across this gem.

Okay so we returned for an encore of the great food we had last time. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was empty. We decided to try the Tricolore salad with some pizza. The salad was OK but the dressing was disappointing and it was not even served with shaved parmigian. Next out came the Pizza. If it had been a frozen pizza or one you’d have at a drive in movie — this would have been bad. No flavor, pre-made crust and a complete waste of time. Tasted like canned pizza sauce. All surprising because last time we visited it got rave reviews from us. We told the owner how disappointing this was, on the way out, and he thanked us for letting him know but really could not have cared less – adding that his good chef was off. No offer at a redo and didn’t care that we’d just blown good money on a pis poor meal. The search for solid and consistent Italian food continues…

Absolutely delicious home-made meatballs created and cooked by chef from Italy. Great owner! Very fast and friendly. Meatballs freshly ground, spiced and delivered straight to your Italian loving tastebuds!

I’m from NYC and I know what good Italian food is. Being new to CA, I was really hopeful for some good chicken piccata. Bottom line– the chicken piccata was rubbery and crunchy and flavor was bland. My girlfriend’s pasta bolognese was tasteless. SUPER disappointed and VERY overpriced! I left hungry. Hope this isn’t what LA has to offer… On to the next one.

This place a mediocre at best. Pizza was mainly all bread and more on the burnt side. Spaghetti was lacking flavor. The garlic bread was terrible. The salad was a joke. I won’t be going back to this place.

My friend found this place on Unilocal and we decided to try it. It’s seriously one of the most delicious Italian places in town. We ordered Chicken Parmesan and it was awesome! Though a bit hard to find since it is located in the back of a plaza, but there is a parking lot in the back. Will definitely come back and try their Chicken Piccata!

I’ve honestly never eaten worse Italian food in my life! Not just bad, inedible. And way overpriced! How are you going to survive overcharging people for terrible food? And to make matters much worse, the owner guy hit on me repeatedly and made it very uncomfortable. NOBUENO.

How surprised I was when I tried out this hidden gem in Studio City! It’s in a small shopping center towards the back so if you don’t know about it, you will miss it off Ventura. I work down the street and was craving meatballs so my coworker told me about it. I walked over to check it out and ordered their side dish of meatballs for $ 5.95 and the bruschetta. Both me and my coworker ordered the meatballs and we both LOVED them! They were a good size, super moist in a yummy red sauce. The bruschetta was amazing. I’m used to finely chopped bruschetta so I was put off for a second but man, it was delicious. The place itself was super clean with a few booths and tables as well as a cute outdoor patio with lights strung above. I think it’s safe to say I will be back!

If you want to eat real italian food made with real italian recipes, go to Sinopli’s and you will make this your«go-to» spot. It has a great outdoor area, privately located so that you are not bothered when eating and the owners/staff were so helpful and truly cared about those who were dining in. They owners are from NYC and they are the only ones who can make a Chicken Parmesan that I can say is just as good(if not better) than many restaurants in NYC. I got the Chicken Parm over linquini with garlic and olive oil as the dressing: O MYGOSH.

My housemate recommended Sinopoli’s(formerly Al Dente) when I first moved to the neighborhood. He told me it was amazing Italian food and he did not steer me wrong. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with peas and zucchini. It was some of the best ravioli I have ever had. The owners were very nice and attentive. They even offered garlic bread which I gladly accepted. It was so good! I was part of the clean plate club! I will definitely be going back.

I dig this place! I bought a Groupon and was skeptical since the place was small and trapped in the back of mini-mall but to my amazement, the bruschetta, the salmon, the spaghetti, the tiramisu WEREEXCELLENT! So what was small became quaint and what was a strip mall Italian place became a great little secret. The things I liked most is it was authentic and the detail to everything was very nice — even down to the excellent wine glasses. Look for it, you’ll be happy to discover this nice, little secret.

My wife and I having bought A groupon stumbled into this restaurant not knowing what to expect. Well, what we found is a neighborhood gem now called Sinopoli. First of all the parking was plentiful and at 6:45 p.m. was easy to enter from Ventura having to make a left hand turn going eastbound. On entry, the restaurant was absolutely empty and remained so throughout our meal. Not good signs in Studio City. My wife and I decided to split a Ceaer salad. Very tasty and the lettuce might very well have been picked from a garden today. A very fine balance of vinegar. oil and parmesan. The wife ordered the lasagna. I would like to comment on it but I was never offered a bit while my wife devooured the entire thing. She NEVER eats everything. She groaned with delight at the conclusion. I had the spaghetti marinara. Having just had a molar pulled it was something I craved. The sauce was redolent of tomatoes and herbs and the pasta was perfecty cooked(aldente I believe is the word). A huge dish of noodles and for every bite I took I felt like someone had put two bites back, One of the best. Oh all right, besties. Too full to have dessert we paid the bill less our Groupon, tipping, of course on the total, but the service warranted it. On the way out the door we met the chef’s wife, Anna. A delightful young lady. It bothered me that this fine neighborhood gem was not drawing the crowd it should be, but then again it may have been the night or the time, but certainly was not a commentary on the food which was wonderful

Ok, this is suppose to be a forum for business reviews, not creepy venting of personal issues– yes, I’m talking to you Mosquito. Only a truly unhappy and fundamentally negative person would judge a couple who choose to stay active in retirement and still contribute to the economy as ‘sad.’ I suspect the owner might have been glaring at your creepy energy and the obvious negative karma it was brining to their lovely venture . For us, this remains a great little local spot for pasta. Yes, no crazy fancy fusions or trendy ingredients will be found here. But if what you seek is a simple but hearty bowl of pasta, a sense that your kids will be welcome, actual available parking nearby(again, so helpful when toting the kids) and a sense that you are contributing to a true local spot, I suggest you give this place a try. Insect repellants are optional.

Where do I begin? 1) The sad, angry owners 2) The ambience(or lack thereof) 3) The food. Blech! Just so we’re clear, they are ALL god-awful! 1) I get it. An aging couple that never got any sort of career off the ground took over a restaurant, changed the name, bada bing bada boom– now they can pretend to feel accomplished. OK. SO. What’s with all the creepy pics of the owners with«celebrities»? Hahaha! So, because you paid Ray J to come in for 10 min and take a photo, we’re supposed to be impressed? Oldest white trash trick in the book! Maybe that works in Jersey, but it makes you look like a fool in LA! Shouldn’t you be more proud to show off your food, than pictures of you and your worked on wife with F+ celebrities? Why would anyone want to see YOU? I mean, not even Gordon Ramsey would be that egotistical… 2) You get more ambience in a Burger King. BUT, if you like an angry owner guy GLARING at you THEENTIRETIME you eat… you just found your new restaurant! 3) Oh the food! The food is the stuff Snookie’s nightmares are made of! I thought I couldn’t go wrong with lasagna, the sauce tasted ROTTEN! And suspiciously just like Prego… hmmmm…I thought this was«authentic Italian» If the sauce is moldy, just crack open another $ 2 jar please! My friend had an overpriced seafood dish that was atrocious and well over $ 20. As if they’re within the caliber of restaurants that can attempt to charge that much. Bottom line, do yourselves a favor and go to Olive Garden, at least they have some standards…
