This is my GOTO store for all my jewelry making business. The owner, Francine, is super knowledgable about crystals/stones, its history and spiritual properties; she is skilled at jewelry-making as well. Although the space is small, the store is loaded with all kinds of crystal and stone beadings, exotic pieces from around the world, tools, clamps, etc.; everything you need to support your hobby, she will most likely have it. Prices are reasonable, too!

I am new to beading, so new that I dont even know if you call it beading. So I went to 2 shops today. The first one was like«meh» for service. One of the clerks had that«Im rolling my eyes and exhaling while putting on a fake smile«look. It was seemingy tedious for her to answer questions from a novice. Then I went to STONEART. Fran is lovely abd helpful and relaxed. Real. Prices seemed lower than the first store I went to as well. She also makes a ton of jewelry and sells it for low low prices. Fran gave me some good advice about making the piece I wanted to make and she also teaches. I’ll be back. The ony reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I do not know enough about this art.

I happened upon this store today literally right after I came from Michael’s Crafts looking at beads, but walking out without any. What a great find! The owner was very helpful & made sure that the beads I purchased would fit on the Rainbow Loom bands I planned to use them with. I will absolutely be back again.

This place is great! Fran, the owner, was very kind and helpful and really a joy to converse with. I spent nearly an hour in the store looking through all her treasures and I thought everything to be very reasonably priced. I will certainly return! Thank you, Unilocalers, for leaving such good reviews. I possibly would have never discovered this place if not for all the kind words written prior.

Although there are many bead stores in Los Angeles that have very rude storekeepers, the owner of Stone Art Bead Store, Francis, is a sweetheart. The minute I walked in, she was very friendly and talkative and very helpful. Her store has a large variety of natural stones for the size of her shop and she will help you with what you need.
