Server was so fun and friendly. Food was fantastic and fresh. I knew from the chips and salsa that the meal would be great. and it was!

We ordered food to go, it was ready quickly. It was fine, but bland. I’m not sure if the Salsa was old or just contained too much cilantro, but it tasted like rancid mint and I couldn’t eat it. I’ve never tried the breakfast but heard good things about that. Not sure we’ll be back for dinner.

Wife, kids, & I went here after car shopping in Racine. The food was great! They have a big Mexican seafood menu. We all loved the chips and salsa. The service was excellent! We will defiantly stop again when we are in the area. The kids gave it two thumbs up!

Just plain yummy! I have been here twice, and both times the owner and her daughter were working. Super nice folks! I am a vegetarian, and it is hard to find a good Mexican place in Racine. La Lluvia is a winner for sure! Amazing, fresh ingredients, delicious home made salsa, and the yummiest avocado I have had in all of Racine Mexican restaurants. It is clear that they care about their food, and they are willing to make substitutions on the menu for special diets. Very clean and nice restaurant — give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

typical Mexican food with the typical combinations. Nothing creative going on here. We stopped in for lunch, prices and amount of food you get is good. My other half ordered the nachos supreme… not a lot of flavor would not order again, I had a combination with a beef taco and a beef chimi. It came with rice, beans and sour cream which were both ok, The menu stated that it came with soup which never arrived but that may have been due to the fact that it was pretty busy for a Monday lunch. I believe the only workers they had was the waitress and the cook. Not their fault and the waitress was very apologetic that everything took a bit longer, All in all this is not a destination restaurant but for what it is, it’s average. May go back again, may not as there are better options for better food. Again it wasn’t bad, just not great.

Interesting that they filtered my first review. UGH! We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning and I can’t tell you how surprised I was at the selection of food! My husband had a bacon waffle and love it. I had the chorizo and eggs. The menu also had several omlettes and platters that were inexpensive and plentiful! This will be our new breakfast spot.

My husband and I ate here over the weekend and were very pleasantly surprised at the food and service here. Chips were warm and the hot and mild salsa were both good. We ordered the guacamole and that was also tasty. I had the al pastor burrito suizo and my husband had a combination(they have 30 different dinner combinations) with a chimichanga, a flauta and something else but we were both very happy with our order. Our server was excellent and we didn’t have to wait for refills on drinks or chips. Prices were decent for the amount of food you get. We will definitely go back. Took a take-out menu to look at their breakfast options and there are quite a few things that looked intriguing enough to bring us in to try that out as well.

Had breakfast here with my family on a Saturday morning. The breakfast menu is huge. Server was very friendly. We had an omelette, mexican muffin melt, skillet, and pancakes, eggs & bacon — everything was delicious! Great homemade salsa.
