This store is good for convenience only. The people that work there are definitely not the friendliest in the world and their prices are astronomically high on just about everything unless it’s in their ad. There is a reason why they closed so many Rite Aids and there is a CVS or Walgreens conveniently located throughout Atlanta. Until someone in their corporate wakes up and starts caring about the stores and the pricing structure they are destined to continue on this downward spiral; and I don’t think many people will care when they go away permanently.

TERRIBLE customer service. I mean the worst I have ever seen. To give some merit to what I’m saying, I’m a 4th year medical student. Therefore I am 1 year away from being a physician. I have worked in healthcare related fields all throughout college and In the 2 years between college and med school. This includes time working in a rite aid as a pharmacy technician. I had 2 prescriptions called in from my doctor today. There were issues from the beginning(most of which were my doctor’s nurses fault). My doctors nurse quickly corrected her mistake. I had been on the phone on and off with the pharmacy for about 30 minutes helping deal with this problem. Then I called back to confirm that they had gotten my prescription and no one picked up. I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer. My doctors nurse was also calling in trying to get them to answer. I finally called the front end of the store and the woman told me that the pharmacy took a 30 minute break from 2 – 2:30pm. No where on their answering services did it notify patients of this break. There was also no way for patients to leave a message. When I finally got ahold of someone in the pharmacy, I told them they needed to update their answering services to indicate this break. The pharmacy tech’s(I think her name was Susan) response was«you can call corporate and tell them». No apology for me wasting my time. Nothing. I told her that wasn’t my job and I wasn’t going to call. She said«well good, nor am I». I was obviously already infuriated by her response, but then she proceeds to tell me(with a major attitude) that something is wrong with my insurance. I said I’d figure it out and she made some sort of rude response about how they couldn’t do anything else until I fixed my insurance. At this point, I was beyond angry. I said something along the lines of «of corse I’ll figure it out. I wouldn’t expect you to considering you can’t even call corporate». And then, she hung up on me. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness. Stay clear of this place at all costs!!! At least until that particular pharmacy tech is either fired or leaves.
