Amazing Smiles

Have not had a bad experience from my last two visits. The dental assistant actually did a decent job doing my deep cleaning procedure. I can’t give them 4 or 5 stars though. They asked me to pay 50% of the total cost so that I could schedule an appointment with them. I never heard a policy like that before but that day, I just wanted to get my cleaning done as soon as I could so I went for it.

Horrific PAIN!!! If you want to know how it feels to have a baby without anesthesia go to amazing smiles and get a root canal. She worked on my mouth without first giving me a prescription for an antibiotic for an infected tooth. So the anesthesia did not work. I could feel everything. In tears I stopped Dr. Allen and asked do you need to continue. The pain is too much to bare. She told me that yes I had to continue going through the pain. I even as did my life depend on her continuing her doing my root canal with me and that much pain and she lied and said yes. When she finished it was Horrible. A matter of fact that’s an understatement. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life and I’ve had a natural birth!!! My mouth swelled up so bad that I could no longer open my jaw. The infection I was told by the ER that was in my mouth could have killed me. She actually went to Africa after doing my teeth. She made her money and left. !!! I didn’t get any pain medication or antibiotics until she came back from her trip. My face was so swollen I could feel the pulse seeping into my mouth. Tremendous amount of pain along with Fever, months of aches, you name it! To be honest with you I really pray for Doctor Allen. Anyone that could do that to a person has no conscious. Even her assistant couldn’t believe that she didn’t give me some medicine and antibiotics. She was to concerned with getting enough money to enjoy our trip on me. Please pray if you’re going to go ahead and see his dentist because God will have to be there beside you the whole entire time to get through the PAIN. SHE trusses her dental assistants to do most of the work. Honestly I wish one of them had done my work. MY mouth probably would have been less painful if the secretary would have came back there literary with a machete and just went to cutting.

I would rate this place 0 stars. They had a dental assistant, not a dentist work on me. I had two cavities filled and a crown repaired. Before I left the office I go to look in the mirror and saw what I felt the problem was. The filling, on a front tooth was horribly shaped and the wrong color. The second filling has a sharp edge that still cuts me and the crown fell off in less than a day. They lied to me about their lifetime teeth whitening, saying that I now have to pay for each treatment. They said pay once and get lifetime whitening. That shit was 400 dollars and what did I get? 1 treatment. This is the worst dentist in Texas.
